Unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Is this cache going to be replaced?

10-Nov-18
Passed this way again, but assumed this one had been archived as it wasn't showing up on either my gps or my companion's smart phone. Would have tried to find it a second time, but guess it can wait for another year or three for me to come back this way...

Gz was under water DNF

Was here to check out cache and although cache is probably ok, the water level is almost at a record high.

** This is a late log **

The caches I am now logging are from a day out caching with Mrs Jackylegs44. We couldn't decide which way to head, so eventually hatched a plan to do a bit of loop, seeing how far we got, aiming to pick up a few LGA's for their team along the way. All up I think we covered about 550km today, enjoying the scenery out the back of whoop whoop and collecting a small swag of smileys.

Since then, many more caches have been found and shared geocaching adventures have been enjoyed too, so it is about time that I got down to work on all those outstanding logs, albeit somewhat late.

I appreciate all the effort each of the cache owners has gone through to create and place each and every hide and I do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my usual style of individualized logs.

This was one that we spent considerable time at, but no joy for us here. We could see that the recent rains had raised the water level of the lake right up as high if not higher than where our gz was, so perhaps the cache has floated away somewhere. Thanks anyway Team Phyler

What a better way to spend Australia Day with a road trip exploring this great country of ours... And of course finding a few caches along the way Cool

We could not believe how white the view was here... The kids just had to run out and see it close up! Of course we headed for the cache instead Wink A quick find here & a few photos, before retreating back to the car from the heat [^]

Thanks for making us stop here Team Phlyer... & TFTC Big Grin

22-Nov-16
The lake attracted me so the cache gave us a good excuse to explore a bit.
But it was a bit smelly and potentially dangerous to take Max the Geoute any closer
Log dutifully signed and replace but thanks for the excuse and the cache Team Phlyer

22-Nov-16
We had spotted the lakes on the way south and seen there was a cache here, so we stopped on the way back, made a quick find and had a quick look at the lake before the flies drove us away. TFTC!

11-Nov-16
Quick find. Tfth.

08-Nov-16
A quick trip to the great southern gave me an opportunity to grab a couple of caches to cross off a couple more Local Govt Authories for a challenge cache.

This lake is another spot I would have never found if I wasn't geocaching.

Team Phlyer. SVKR_WA found your cache on 9 November 2016. This find brings our finds count to 1660.

We have signed the log and replaced the hide as found.

Thanks for bringing us to this place.

Decided to get muggle to take me on a overnight georoad trip from Bunbury to Wagin via Boyup Brook, Kojonup and Woodanilling and a few little caching destinations along the way Big Grin

Have never travelled from Woody to Wagin before so was surprised on this lake and so close to the road too Smile

Nearly the end of the first days travel my little body was getting very weary so walking in the soft sand was torture.
I arrived at GZ to find sticks but no cache Sad, thought it may have been muggled. Turned around and the container was about 7m way out in the open.

I did signing duties and put it back where it belongs and covered it up

TFTC

yes it's no longer a clip lock but a while plastic vitamin container but still small in size Smile

17-Sep-16
Found. Not quite a clip lock container to us. More like a plastic jar, but great find! Thanks!

Quickly found and it is a nice view from here Smile

Geoson and I headed away for a boys trip and stopped by to grab some caches where the caravan would allow! This one was in the list and we soon had our name in the log book.

Team Phlyer - jinta29 found your cache Parkeyerring Lake on 17/07/2015 1:16 pm. This is my find #3447 and find #7 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Very serene place to visit.
It's tempting to stop for a long lunch.

This was a bit of a detour on our way out of town but it wasn't that far out. I seem to remember getting another one on this lake not far from here.

18-Nov-14
I found the screw top container where I'm sure Haggles left it. Still sitting pretty.

02-Nov-14
Something funny is going on! Maybe Barnzy found the old cache as the one I just found was the white screw top container and it had a log dating back to early '13. Not sure where it was meant to be as it was laying in the open, guessing wind/critters knocked it out of its hiding spot?
I re-hid it, probably not as well as I could've done so I apologise if it is not where it was originally (still at those co-ords). Took nothing and left some sea shells Smile TFTC.

13-Oct-14
No sign of a cache in any of the trees within 10m of GZ

04-Mar-13
Thanks to the crew of Southern Boomers (Rick & Nicole) who replaced the missing cache this one is now available again.

04-Mar-13
A great place to set up for an afternoon with a book and snack and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place. Today the lake was waterless but the beauty is still there. The soft sand around the edge of the lake made it feel like the beach without waterSmile

18-Oct-12
Called in here to check on cache as there had been a few DNF.....and it is missing. After 2 years that is very disappointing. However we will not be outdone by muggles and will install a new cache shortly......

10-Mar-12
We decided to make our own long weekend this weekend after working the last weekend. We were headinng to camp at Yornanning Dam for the weekend with friends. Then maybe down to Wagin for the Woolarama.

So up this morning 38degrees, not prepared to sit around the campsite so we teamed up with Mezzleowl and headed down to Wagin. The rest of our group were planning on going to the Woolarama but we had other ideas and targeted the caches in the area.

What a great spot for a cache. We have been through Wagin previously but didn't know this little gem was here!

Managed to pull up a log and have lunch here too whilst we enjoyed the view over the lake. Also managed a bit CITO too.

Lovely day and enjoyed look at the lake - search for short - finally find the container - No swap. Signed the log. Thanks Team Phlyer.

MOZZIES, MOZZIES and more MOZZIES. If it weren't for the cache I reckon I could have stayed in the geomobile. TFTC.

28-Nov-11
I can't believe that only one recent log mentioned the mozzies; he too must be an east coaster. The lake had a fishy smell to it, and the GPS played up beneath those wretched power lines, but in the end there weren't too many places for the cache to be hidden, and it was soon at hand. TFTC TNLN

28-Oct-11
Found as we headed South for the long weekend.

06-Jun-11
Found at 3.40pm GAFF1. We were camped in town so went for a bit of a caching tour before settling down for dinner. A lovely spot, but the receding water was a worry after all of the rain that has fallen recently - or didn't it reach this area?
Thanks Team Phyler.

12-May-11
This is a similar story to what Victoria went through with a ten year drought seeing most of these smaller lakes turn to nothing but dust. This year we had record rains and everything is back as it was ten years ago. Hopefully the same will happen to this area soon, it definitely needs it. The cache was a nice easy find all the same, hopefully on our next visit we have to tromp out through mud
Thanks again Team Phyler for the cache

24-Apr-11
Certainly a dry lake at the moment. Easy find cause the cache was exposed TFTH

14-Mar-11
Nice quick grab, small container so no room to make a swap. Had a quick look at the view over the lake and then headed back towards Wagin. TFTC.

05-Mar-11
Found on a drive to Albany. Very windy and fresh here today.

The male Coaster spent a good number of years growing up in Wagin and had never stopped at the lake before.
