As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Sorry ppl, Don't want anymore DNF's so will disable until I check and replace if need be.
this is my third attempt at this one to no aval looked high an low but she has gone to da muggles
went looking for this one ,looked in every crack, hole and nook but it seems to have been muggled not there.
searched all around. very exposed spot, also met there a fellow Geocacher who carried on the search after we left. Maybe this one needs a maintenance visit.
Out and about with Lostcourse and FMZ this evening. We decided to stop in here for a quick grab, as this one looked to be fairly straightforward. Well, we looked at every possible spot from all different angles in the dark and couldnt find it. Lostcourse had already found this one on a previous attempt and he confirmed that the cache is definately not in the spot he found it. We must have looked very suspicious as we were stopped by the cops mid search. We had a brief chat in which one of them already knew about geocaching and we were left in peace. This one needs to be checked out by the cache owner as it appears to be gone.
Very First find for me, decided to find a local one first. I was a little worried about looking odd so went with my brother and his partner to have a look, was surprised how little it actually was.
But i can clearly see the attraction of this. Hopefully many more finds to come.

Awesome afternoon for a walk. Just had to wait for no muggles looking to grab it. TFTC
Found this yesterday, well miss 8 did anyway, but didn't fill out log as had no pen
Didn't need any Perseverance for this one. Just looked at it and thought about where we would have put it. Checked that spot and there it was! Pity it doesn't always work like that! TFTC.

Obviously not quite with it on this one as it took us ages to locate. Don't know why. TFTC
This cache is well named. I needed plenty for I experienced quite a bit of difficulty retrieving the container due the lack of an appropriate tool. Who was that last finder? I am on to you. Left the cache in a slightly easier position for the next finder.
Took a bit of searching, but got there in the end. Would be interesting to know the history of this object.
Out and about today to collect two more lonely caches. While this cache isn't lonely, it did help break up the journey. I didn't realise this cache was disabled. I still had the details in my note-book, so stopped by for a quick look. A very quick find today. Signed the slip of paper provided by avoyager. Cheers for the hide!
Was in the Awhitu area today and thought to just "have a look" to see if log had been replaced since the cache page was last looked at a few days ago. Found empty container so left a small bit of paper with name on it. Wont be back in the area for some time so too hard to walk away without a getting a smiley... TFTC.
An easy find today by the better half of the jaybees. The log is full so this must have been here all the time and not missing. Might pay to put a new log in as there is just 1 space left. TFTC
Out Waiuku way today and thought I would have a look for this one despite 3 DNFs. I wasn't looking long when I found a Nano sized magnet (nix cache) attached to the object at GZ. Not a promising sign. I think this needs to be checked out. Cheers.
Had another look for this while in the area. Unless its very very small I think its gone. Can you please replace this one or archive it.
Searched every sq inch of rusty and didnt see or feel it. Can you check its still there.
Neat little nano, TFTC, an easy clue but still took a couple of minutes to locate
Drove past GZ initially so had to back track to park closer to GZ. Pretty obvious were GZ would be so headed straight to it. Circled the structure twice before spotting the hide. TFTC
found on a nice raining day pleased to see the work they have done to the area very different to what it looked like when i was growing up in this town tftc easy find its a pitty the Jane Giffard boat isnt docking here anymore
Like Wild Tui, I was looking for something a bit larger.I should have known what nano means. Took a bit of searching and some extra time to extract the log "book" Thanks for a pleasant site on a pleasant day.
YAY Wild Tui and I found this today, I don't know how we missed it on Xmas Day TFTC signed log and returned to hiding.
Great little cache found it on second try. Didn't think it was going to be that tiny. Had a delicious ice cream. T4TC
Took a bit of searching for. TFTC Also took some time to watch the volunteers removing the mangraves from the estuary. Well done guys.
Someone has set up a Xmas tree stall in the carpark - fortunately GZ is concealed from her view by a bush. It just had to be in the last nook left to check. T4TC - M@
Had a good look around 'rusty' but still could not find it. Wondering if it is still there?
Just wanting to take my first micro cache jipperdejippie found it.
It was an easy find, certainly a nice spot. Compliments

Gone south this morning to pick a few down that way.
This brought back a few memories as I spent a few years in the neighbourhood growing up quite a few decades ago.
Cheers for the cache.

Nice spot and easy find with Kyle891 on a evening caching mission. Fun times! TFTC
I arrived just as there was a working bee to clear up the area, so I merged in with the activity for a while before casually locating the cache without anyone noticing. It's quite well hidden but persevere and your eye will soon spot the hiding place.
A few people out and about in the area having picnics but no trouble spotting the cache and quietly retrieving it.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Not out of public view, but noone seemed to notice us. TFTC. SL. Quick easy find.
Parked closeby and enjoyed a brief walk in the sun towards GZ. Great hide in an interesting spot T4TC.
4997 Perseverance certainly paid off... didn’t want to be weighed down by a DNF, TFTC.
Stopped at the carpark to eat a pie and was munching away when I saw someone giving the hint a good look. I assumed that she was a cacher and was going to say hello, when she saw me watching and left before I had a chance to walk over from the car. Finished the pie, and the donut, and then made a quick find. Thanks.

Found during a cache raid into Waiuku.
Little bit of trouble with this one, until we read about the mag nano.
Log is bit difficult to extract.

2TF first to log, FMZ must be too busy chasing more FTFs. Found on our way home. Thanks Kiwifamily for the fun placement!
I don't know about other times of the day, but all quiet at 7pm tonight and a quick FTF (#432) TFTC!!!
