Alleyway undergoing major reconstruction with new arcade being built at GZ, no more begging here.
Sure we were in the correct place but no luck. There is a construction area adjacent.....
Auckland is a nice city with friendly people and this was a fun cache that I hunted down on the way to the airport. T4TH
Found it easily, but had to wait suspiciously for muggles to depart to hide it again. Great spot.
Nice quick find thanks to great clue as GPS was hopeless. Thankfully GZ was really quiet today as our previous attempt was thwarted by some binmen. TFTC
Interesting lane, lots of service vehicles today. The clue really helps. A man with a high viz jacket was sitting on a white plastic chair at GZ having a ciggie, so we had to wait till he had finished and gone inside before we could retrieve the cache. TFTC.
I decided to done my invisibility cloak (clipboard) and grab some caches around the CBD today. In broad daylight no less. After 2 hours caching I think it is safe to say, I got my fill of mint tins.
I have been through this alleyway a lot from when I used to catch the train. Used the hint and made a straight foward find. No muggles about for the first time today. Certainly made things easier. Cheers.

Where I had to look was soon clear. This, however, unobserved to do was pretty difficult. TFTC
Eight o'clock on a Saturday night, and the alley was empty as we retrieved, signed and returned cache. If this was in Wellington the place would be buzzing!! TFTC
We tried this three times this morning, however there was construction work going on at this site and construction workers were everywhere. The one time we were at GZ and were able to have a quick search unnoticed, we were unable to retrieve the cache as our fingers weren't long enough. We will return
I had to wait for a muggel free opportunity.
July wanted to travel with me. The cache was too small
for my tb, what a pity.

Was staying just around the corner, so a super convenient place for me! Love the street art that's in the lane currently Left TB. Cheers
A quick find (walked straight to it) using the hint on an early evening walk whilst staying overnight in Auckland. I could have sworn that this one inspired a recently-placed one in Wellington - they are just so similar - but the Wellington cache owner doesn't seem to have found this one. GPSr was reading about 23 metres error so the hint was a godsend. Signed log, TFTC!
No begging required today but I was tentative about where the cache was until I heard it move and then I retrieved it. TFTC!
nice easy find for a Saturday night... 5th tonight 99th overall (just 1more for the centenary)... have driven up and down this alley on numerous occasions this past weeks waiting to uplift passengers from the esquires at the top of the alley... if only we had the GPS turned on.
I had scoped this cache before, but there were too many muggles. I got a few pointers from Rosmar at the event today (i.e. at the weekend, in the rain, driveby). With FMZ playng cache grabber in the passenger seat, it was an easy find. We drove round the block as we wrote the log before replacing it muggle free...TFTC
Amazing how many clubbers are about at 8:30 in the morning. Found on the way to the event. TFTC
Paid a visit to the alley during a heavy downpour and managed a quick find, log and rehide befor any muggles appeared. Great story, great hide T4TC.
Took ages to get out as cache was well up the orifice. Fortunately a handy piece of bendable material was close at hand to help retrieval. Some mad woman in a BMW then tried to reverse over me.
Last day of my visit from Denver, Colorado. A good hunt and it was in hand. SL. Thanks!
Easy found, just have to look for the right one

It was a quiet lane way this sunday morning (fortunately).
Armed with map and clue, it was a quick find, as we didn't want to linger.
Thanks, Robmc.

It certainy seemed like the wrong end of down down here.
We were on the hunt for caching scraps and didn't go away empty handed here.
Thanks

Out at lunchtime, Testing out Trial version of Geocahe Navigator (for Blackberry) Found in seconds. Not too many muggles around, just had to time it right.
Will be buying Geocache Navigator.

Found at lunchtime while on business in town. Rain keeping muggles heads down under their umbrelas, so no problems. T4TC - M@
The hint was pretty specific, but couldn't lay my hands on anything. May be that my fingers are too short and pudgy - and it was pretty yukky in the rain.
Found after second attempt and updated clue
Had a quick feel, cache was there but did not sign as too many muggles about
Thanks ftc

Spare tim between work and plane spent looking for a few CBD caches, including this one. Back alley not too busy when I was there. All good with cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Out for lunch with a geocaching friend. Back down the ally after a feed so no need for any scraps today. Good to see it is back in place.
Thanks for the cache
Cheers TT

Last try for the night, Gotta go get a bit to eat, Really hungry, fortunately for late night 24 hr food shops. Damn another night club, way too many people around.
One of my last stops of the day, still raining so had my umbrella up stopping any spying eyes. Nice and easy when the clubs aren't open. Now back to the car to change my completely soaked shoes, and one more before I leave. Caching spree #33
Parked next to the cache, but couldnt quite reach without getting out of the car!! Thanks.
Yes GPS is pretty much useless in the alleyway but the clue is spot on. We'd love to know what the three CCTV cameras are for. We're sure one of them moved around to watch us..... Used the ol' "Oh, my shoelace is undone" trick. TFTC
Thanks for the quick reinstatement. This is a great hidey-hole.
There is plenty of muggle traffic down the alley.
Cheers for the cache.

Found it on Saturday morning after stopping by the farmers' market at Britomart. It gets really busy here at night. A quick find thanks to the helpful hint. TFTC
New container in action. Moved very slightly to more hidden location, updated hint to reflect this.
DANG!!!! Another cache that has to be logged as a DNF. The space is empty at the object in the hint. It will pay to check it out.
Watched iShoot find it and managed to convince him to add my name to the log. Well done iShoot on a FTF. Typicall Auckland weather, it was bucketing down and I was dragged away from a nice warm meeting room to wander the back alleys of Auckland. Despite all that always nice to add another cache to the list. TFTC.
Managed to find a parking spot early in the morning. Got to GZ and quickly spotted the "old"and the "new". Had to wait for a delivery truck to finish offloading and leave before I could retrieve the cache. Lots of muggles using this alley this morning. TFTC
Yay, a joint ftf, if you can count standing next to ishoot as he found and retrieved the cache as a find.
Saw the cache come in, but roobi insisted we finished the meeting with phlatpikker before we set off. Met ishoot at GZ for the joint FTF.

I sat around wondering if anyone would miss me if I took an early lunch.
After about 40 minutes of procrastination, I thought I could do it.
I got my wet weather gear from the car and headed down the hill to the CBD.
My GPS was all over the place so I started looking for the likely spots.
Just as I was about to make my move a gang of shadowy figures appeared at the far end of the alley.
"Oh well I will just casually stand around in the rain trying to blend in waiting for them to pass."
But no, they were here for the same reason.
My second FTF with Boy4Life and nice to meet Phlatpikker and roobi.
TFTC a good day for ducks and cachers.

My 2nd cache in the beautiful NZ weather with Roobi and Boy4life. Great fun! Met Ishoot under 4 umbrellas at the cache site in the rain. TFTC.
