No sign of cache container at gz. Found log book though. Definitely needs maintaining.
been pass this one a lot lately but their always seem to be a car or two parked in the area nice and quite on my way home last night so tonight was it, good to know its down the track a bit so could have got it on other times too, nice big box too
Making our way home from Hawarden with my Mum and Dad. They are more willing to stop and wait for me than my Husband is on most trips. A very chilly day, 4 degrees, but still sunny. Chilly in them there bushes! Great to see a decent size container, although lacking in good SWAG. The other 16 caches I have got today were all small or micro. TFTC
After passing a carcass of a large dear at the entrance to the river track wondered on down towards a great location for the cache. Never knew this track was here.
Coming up from Christchurch today when the first snow fall of the season was just starting , very cold , until we arrived back in Sunny Nelson. Thanks for the cache KE.

Travelling around the South Island.
Looking at our wonderful home land.
Weather has been inclement but this has not dampened our enthusiasm.
Unfortunately two lots of campers here when large signs say no camping.

No rest here for me, had a bit of a scramble to find the cache. Wonderful river view. TFTC
This cache got a visit from me on my way from Christchurch to Blenheim. Took a quick short break to catch it, went out to the river and then for the cache. Finding it wasn't hard and now my name is in this caches log too, another NZ cache on my vacation in your beautiful country.
Thanks from the german visitor for hiding and maintaining this cache

We're visiting from Florida, USA. That was great fun. Thanks for placing the cache.
West coast trip, day 9. Returning home
What a marvelous holiday we've had. Had a lovely picnic lunch in the sun - pity about all the litter bugs!
Z6 for the find - entirely on his own!
Dropped off a Travel Bug. And made a trade -Z6 looks pretty smart in his new Sheriff's badge!

After some planning Shannonp1 and I got sorted for a mission into areas we hadn't been. Up to Hanmer through the Molesworth to Blenheim, down the Wairau valley to St Arnaud down the Shannandoa to Murchison and then home via the Lewis. 209 caches for the weekend and a pretty high success rate. Thanks to all the cache owners especially Bum and Worker and sorry for the cut and paste.
So a few weeks in the planning phase, me and Surveybase finally got out and about for a mission. Through Hanmer, up the Molesworth to Blenheim, across through St Arnaud, Murchison and then home. 209 caches for the weekend and a pretty high success rate. Thanks to all the cache owners and sorry for the cut and paste. Cheers.
Called in today to dry out the cache and add a new log and bag. Also rehid the cache a bit better than it was. The hint object sure has degraded over the years.
Cache was full with water and log roll is missing. Put a new little paper in it, but that will also become wet.
We are traveling on our holiday from Auckland to the Bay of Islands and back southwards to Bay op Plenty, Lake Taupo, Wellington, Nelson, West Coast.
Easily found @ 13:20, but cache was full with water.

This little park was out one stop between Picton and Greymouth. I grabbed the cache and then ran down to the river to get a couple photos and to stretch my legs before we hit the road again.
Quick find on way home, good to see a large container instead of all today's micros. Only thing is the amount of rubbish in the area. TFTC
Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.

A big mission awaited - Sonia and Menzo's wedding in Nydia Bay. Considering the number of cachers in the family, it is not surprising that we turned the trip there and back into a semi-caching road trip! We signed most logbooks as team polak to save space and time. We are grateful to all CO's who made our travels so much more fun.
The others found one in town while we got ice cream and V, but I already found that at a previous visit, so was keen to make another stop. Nice place, thanks for bringing us here!!

On our way up to Nelson to hang out the weekend before our wedding. The fiancee went in a different car that visited the touristy spots with his mum, while I went in the caching car with my mum!!
A quick find, and a nice wonder on our way up north.
Boys were getting not happy though by this point that we were stopping at too many caches, so had to cut it here, and head straight for nelson from here...

6542. Off on a camping/geocaching holiday to Nelson. Day two was from Murchison to Tahuna This was our fifth stop for the day. Good to find a large container. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
Great cache, found it on the way back.. Our GPS said we're always 8 meters away, but the hint helped..
Nice spot and thanks from Nat for the regular sizes cache. Good for her swapping mission.
Day 3 of caching in and around St Arnaud/Nelson Lakes. Today mostly cachemobile, and some short walking.
This was #24 for the day.
Made a straightforward find. Cache in order, log signed and then safely re-hidden.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too

A plan was hatched to try and grab a number of caches, in excess of 120 if possible. I had already found a load between Renwick and St Arnaud but consulting the map around St Arnaud area showed some semi power trail drive by caching opportunities. Fellow Manawatu cacher the Seagnoid was asked if he was interested and a resounding yes was the answer. So the car was fuelled up at very early o'clock and provisions for munching were also loaded. An 0630 start was the plan and the day came to its conclusion around 2130 after approx. 15 hours of driving and caching.
Outcome was a very successful figure in excess of 130 caches which constitutes best day ever (for both of us), best week, month and year too. Over 500kms driven today and man I feel tired but need to make a start logging the finds, and DNFs. Thanks to all the C Os involved in making our day such a great one. Nearly all caches were well maintained, interesting and accurately plotted. There were bellbirds, beech trees, pies and water, sealed roads, gravel tracks, no sandflies (thankfully), rivers and bridges and creeks and bridges and streams and bridges and much conversation about all things caching
A great day out in good company and all made possible by the efforts of the hiders.
T F T C to all the cache owners. We mostly signed as C/S or Capp/Seag or other combos

[green] Capperz called me up saying he wanted to get his ruby Busy Cacher badge, and try for 120 caches in a day. I said YES PLEASEE!!, as I too had tried this once before but only achieved 103 before night defeated me and Edvern in Auckland last year. A successful day, with over 130 caches found in 14.5 hours and 500km. Also tiring - I went to bed as soon as I got home, despite it not being dark yet (yes, we could have cached some more, but the next objective is 180 caches, and there was no way we would have achieved that!). Alas, I had to leave all the planning to Capperz, and he produced a great little plan, listing all the target caches (and more) with which way to turn at next intersection after a cache - a great way to plan a back road travel.
The day was cool, cloudy, with a little drizzle. Perfect caching weather - the weather kept most of the muggles away from the muggle areas.
Thanks to all the COs for a great day out exploring the back roads of the Marlborough region!
Logs signed as CS or occasionally as CapSeag.
Found the easily visible from the path. Hid it a little better.

I've driven past so many times and meant to stop but never have. As i walked down the track i wondered at the wisdom of not grabbing the torch in the car as it was just on dusk. Spotted a likely location and made a quick find without returning to the car for the torch. Went down to check out the river, no likelihood of me trying that section in my kayak TFTC

12910… A great spot to see the confluence, many thanks for showing us this cool location.
Loved this spot and the amazing views from near by thanks for bringing us here we would never have stopped if not for caching T4TC well worth a fav point
We ended up going right down the track to the river, as our GPS indicated the cache was further from the track than it actually was. A second pass and we quickly spotted the hint object. TFTC
