Cache # 223
Cache # 223
Cache #769 - a very quick find with Crystal Fairy, MycroMan and Violet Butterfly. Exactly as the title says - a quick stop! TNLNSL. TFTC!
Quick roadside grab. Did on the way to the 10/11/12 event in Palmy with Wandering Dragons, Violet Butterfly and Mycro Man
A very popular place by the look of all the rubbish. The wind blew the lid into the middle of the road - luckily there was a gap in the traffic at that same moment. TFTC #3585
As promised the cache only required a quick stop, we nearly missed the turn off but spotted it at the last minute.
We had failed to find this cache last year on a previous trip to Palmy, it turned out to be MIA, so thanks to CO for replacing. This time it lived up to its name.

Staying at my Mum's and she thought we should go to Shannon for a drive and to check out the shops - apparently Shannon is becoming a bit of a destination place - Go Shannon. We did enjoy our wander and I was able to collect some caches on the way there and back.
This was our 5th today - did it on the way back to PN - the wind here was something feisty - sheltered in car to sign log - interesting to note the survey marker here as well - TFTC

We were the only ones in the Makerua rest area so we were able to make it just a quick stop. Thanks.

Found during Etherlord family's summer caching roadtrip to Levin.
Mrs Etherlord wasn't too pleased about the welcoming party...

This was not in the same place as when I found it for Nannie but I found the new place too
When I saw that this cache was nearby we decided to take a quick detour while heading back to wellington. A quick park and grab in the rain. TFTC

Nice quick stop at night and an easy find - another 50+ day of caching in not the most pleasant weather Cheers Gav [9423]
Have replaced cache - ready to go again. Please be careful of muggles, area is quite open.
Make that 2 dnf's. Had a good look around, reached in... nothing. Reckon it's gone.
There seemed to be one obvious hiding spot but it wasn't there. First DNF for this one after 60+ finds; maybe it has gone AWOL.
Found cache, well hidden. Also found travel bug 79HZAO but am told that this is not registered - Please help me
took gra5c4 coin, angel of the north and left 79hza0 military kid. hope to pass tb on in australia
Picked up Duxford Traveller and will move it on.
Dropped of my new Geocoin from England.

found en-route to Palmerston North. Quick find and log. Dropped off a TB which went through the floods in Brisbane and hopefully can stay on higher ground for some time. (Maybe it could visit the Rugby museum ....)
Strong wind blowing and a quick find, spotted as we approached so tried to cover it more, but the wind wasn't helping!
Left Oink the Wise Piggy Geocoin. TFTC.

#500. A nice quick cache to bring up number 500, yay! Thanks for the brief stop on our caching afternoon. SL, TFTC. -hairclip, +butterfly, +spikey ball.
I had vever heard of Makerua until today, despite driving through it dozens of times. TFTC.
Extremely quick find as the wind had blown away any cover it may have once had. I have always thought this was a great place for a cache!
Easy find although the slow car I was following decided it would be fun to pull over in the rest stop to let me pass... so I had to drive on, turn around and head back once they'd gone past lol. TFTC
Quick find as this was really exposed to the south. Tried to 'camo' as best I could. 3 for the day so far. TFTC.
luckely 'm not that small luckely it was an easy found found it on the way to wellington

Sadly As we drove in to ther given site my fellow cacher said this is too easy as it was exposed for all to see. After signing in we returned to the same place but out of the site of roaming eyes.
A quick stop and retrieve on the way to Palmy. Easy to retrieve between passing traffic.

Found with Hugo the dog on the way to Palmerston North. Passed by many times, but never stopped before. Nice little spot for the geo hound to have a stretch. SL, TFTC.
