Quick easy find. Really nice views of the estuary and a table and seats to write up the log. TFTC.
Lovely spot for a wee rest, have enjoyed the caches along this track. TNLNSL TFTC
Another Horcrux off the list, getting closer to the final.

2.15pm. Last along this track for us and quickest to find. Very nice estuary view to contemplate while writing up the log. Mrs JF got lucky finding 50c. on the ground near the picnic table.

Good to see this cache is still intact! Number two of what once was the horcrux series for today! Gonna need to talk to the owner to complete! But nice spot, quick find, TFTC!
Thought we'd start on the horcruxes only to find they had done some bush clearing so cache may have been compromised. Will continue on our way but if someone finds it or owner checks and is all okay, will come back to re-find
Great to meet Aztec Gold while out caching today, with Brook Vader and Hastingus in NZ. Nice walk along the bush to find our 2nd Horcrux for the day. TFTC.
Decided this was an appropriate time to tackle this series & so with Cabhassett & Brook Vader we set off to find the caches, starting with the one nearest home & following on from there. Met up with Aztec Gold at this cache, nice to meet you all. TFTC
Meet up with 3 other geocaches who got there just before us, it was great to meet you. Good luck on the rest of the horcuxes!
We didn't find this one on this visit, GPS was not very accurate under the wet tree coverage.
Will try again next time we are in the area.

Having the day off work and not a cloud in the sky, decided to round up the rest of this series. Last of the series to find and i had the cache in hand after a short search TFTC and the series
Convenient place to stop for a bite of lunch following a quick find by 'Er outdoors'.
Must have change myself in a gnome before hunting for this one as the cache was quickly in hand Beware Voldemort here I come TFTC
Nice day for a walk and a few caches. Found it after a bit of a hunt near the cliff edge. It's a pity about all the rubbish round here.
3504 Nice quick find in between passing muggles, cache hidden out of sight of most and were prepared to use the old 'dog's lost his ball' line if asked. Thanks for the nice walk and the cache.

#472: Found, though it took us a while--had no idea how a gnome thinks, but found it anyway.

Took a wee while to find this one.
Had to read some of the previous logs first.

Had to hunt for a while, then discovered we had walked over it about 4 times! Too bad about all the rubbish. TFTC
Was in the area for another cache so could not leave this one as unfound. Made a quick find at GZ. Rather "dangerous" so did not let the kids near. TFTC
Be very careful when looking for this cache as it is very near the edge of the cliff, keep the the young ones away.
#621 Remarkably quick find, must think like a gnome. Our 1st find of this series. Nicely done. Nice walkway too. SL. TFTC.
Nice spot but the rubbish so close to GZ did not impress, especially the used syringe.

This was the 5th time we've been down there but with help from Rhodzrunner and Helefant we found it! TFTC
Took a while to find...Id just remembered Helefant told me something about coords to the help towards the next cache so back we went when we were ambushed but a couple of furry friendlies and there muggle companion...started talking about the view...over all enjoyed it TFTC
Found with Mrs UGTME, took awhile and don't think I would have without an extra clue i'd come across by accident. We were on the way back to the car when Mrs UGTME remembered about the clue for the final cache, whoops had forgotten all about that, so back to the cache, where we were almost pushed over the edge by a couple of 4 legged muggles, by the time the 2 legged muggle owner arrived we were taking in the view across Kaipataki and Oruamu esturies. TFTC
We've been down there three times now and still nothing, even after a few hints and tips from people who have found it. Will have to wait till we get a GPS to make sure we're in the right spot
4914 So many places to search... managed to stumble upon the Ring on our second pass. Marvolo Gaunt needs to tidy up his backyard. TFTC.
Into double figures!!! number 10 find Nice binding for the log book! Look forward to the rest in the series.

He Who Must Not Be Named is on his way to be doomed. The first of his Horcrux's has been destroyed.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
We were first on the scene despite the horrendous rush-hour traffic. Had been searching in the light rain for some time when FMZ turned up. Together we searched for probably an hour and a half, and eventually had to admit defeat. Very disappointing for us all. The horcrux must be protected by some pretty strong enchantments, and probably an invisibility spell as well.
Was at work when Mrs Rhodzrunner said there was a new cache in Beach Haven... thought i would be much too late for this one, came home put the little runners to bed, had dinner and saw the DNF post, so i thought i would give it a crack Nigel... was there 5mins when Kiwicouple arrived for a 2nd try... a brief search and it was Kiwicouple this time that said those words "found it" Joint FTF #3 for me.... TFTC
Two parts to this story. Was in Greenlane when this was published so picked the other half up from work and made our way to the cache through rush hour traffic. Arrived to find kiwicouple had just started searching also. Spent 2 hours searching high and low (at that stage there was no hint on the cache). Eventually got onto the 3G phone and contacted the cache owner and asked if a hint could be added to the page, but unfortunately we had given up, our souls crushed, and only saw the new hint was added when we got home.
Part two - when we got home we saw the reply from ledge end and the new hint on the cache so I headed back to the cache site, but arrived minutes after the cache had been found by kiwicouple and rhodzrunner armed with the new info. Gutted I couldn't get there a few minutes earlier to be a part of the joint FTF. Oh well, ya can't win 'em all.... Cheers for the cache!

No sooner had we logged our DNF, than we noticed a hint had been posted on the cache page, in response to an email to the owner by funkmunkyzone. We had only just reached home, but back we headed for another look. Arrived at GZ to find Rhodzrunner searching. Joined in, and this time it didn't take long to pin down the elusive cache. Finally broke those enchantments protecting the Horcrux 3 1/2 hours after publishing.
Signed the blank logbook for a joint FTF at 8.30pm . Destroyed the Horcrux and extracted the hint. Thanks! Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Spotted FMZ returning, as we were leaving the area, so stopped to share the FTF hint with him - we think he earned it.

When notification came out we were still at work. Unfortunately the boss was visiting so it would have not have been career enhancing to leave. Then came the offer of a drink so it would have been rude to refuse!! Headed home for dinner & a cuppa after which the attraction of a cache not too far from home had us out the door making our way to GZ. The hint made for a quick find. TFTC and the start of an exciting series.
