Interesting location and lots of lovely houses! Cache dry and doing well. TFTC
This was a nice quick find in a lovely little reserve. Some truly marvelous houses around here too. TFTC
Thanks for the cache.
Another little reserve set aside to preserve habitat for the burrowing crayfish. Nice to see. This was a quick find at GZ.

Today The X-Trailers and I travelled around the outskirts of Devonport. We found 22 caches for the day and 2 dnf. TFTC
Lovely wetlands which we had never visited before. Took longer to find than it should have!
I was in the area to find caches that I didn't have time to look for last time I was here. Fortunately the inclement weather which was forecast enabled me to continue my searches. Accurate co-ordinates enabled a quick find. I was pleased that it was a reasonably quick find as generally I have difficulties with hangers. Thank you for this cache which brought me to a reserve that I was not aware of..
With Maggie. TFTC. Found on our TASMANIA ALL OVER journey. Join us on Facebook page of that name.
The map takes you off track if it wasn't for the description people would be walking all through the wetlands. Not a favourite of mine.
Parked up the top and made the short walk down to this one, no one was around and made for a nice and easy find
Today I set off for a half day trip to Devonport to clean up the rest of what I had left to find plus the new lot of caches that had popped up in the last week. Also managed to grab an FTF along the way too. All up a total of 21 finds and 2 DNFs for the few hours.
Thanks for the cache

Visited this one on a previous occasion, could see the cache from the pathway but declined the opportunity to log because of a lot of eyes in neighbouring properties. Today was the day to try again. Retrieved and logged quickly and cleanly. Still room for more logs. Don't forget your writing implement. TFTC thistlecat
Found it when staying in Devonport during my motorcycle holiday on this marvelous island.
MY 100TH FIND!!
You would think by now I would know how to use a map but no I haven't as I tried to access the cache from the railway only to come face to face with a private property sign so back to the car to do a bit more research and drove around to the other side where I could access GZ. I looked around only to see a cache lying on the ground. Once I signed I found where it was meant to be a put it back into hiding. TFTC!

Great our enjoyed journey along around the Tasmania and today it’s my last day in Devonport. Tomorrow morning we will go home in Melbourne. Sad to leave a beautiful country in Tasmania .Found your cache today. thistlecat, thank you so much for placing it.
Found after about 30 seconds.
Making my way around Devonport with the family today, filling in the caches I have not yet found, with a total of 5 finds and 2 DNFs. Making the most of the clear winter weather, and the school holidays!
Found the cache just hanging around, so I proceeded with signing the log. Thanks for bringing us here, to somewhere we didn’t know existed.

Clever little hide, kept the juniors busy for a few minutes, they were impressed with the camouflage. We forgot our pen so had to revisit again

Out and about in Devonport on a glorious Tasmanian day. It was fascinating to learn about the crayfish, unfortunately we did not see any evidence of them today. Cache name made us smile!
Thanks to 'thistlecat' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
This was a interesting little park. It took some time before I spotted what I was here for but there was no muggles about.
Thanks thistlecat for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

I wanted to find two caches today and this one was close to where a friend has just moved so we came to have a look for this as my first cache as I had a solved puzzle as my second. [^]
Walked down the path then took the few steps down to GZ and after the GPSr settled down I turned around and spotted the cache.
Thanks for the cache thistlecat.

After traveling all night on the Spirit Of Tasmania, we started off the day with a couple of nearby caches. This one looked like a relative simple accessible cache to find, and it didn’t take long for the eldest to spot it.

Out for our second day of hunting for Hidden Creatures, we chose to search for the new and old releases in the Devonport, Port Sorell, Latrobe & Spreyton area's.
We can see the Yeti - He walks up to us and shakes our hand. What a likeable fellow he is. He is in the backseat with the Troll. Hope is doesn't each much.
Days total 17 - 17

Easy find. Muggles about so didn’t open. Ring it’s hanging on looking pretty rusty.
Clip holding this on very rusty and may need replacing or camo may fall. Recommend fishing swivel to allow easy unscrew
Day twenty of our holiday in Tassie. Bettyboo3747 and I are traveling between Mole Creek and the ferry home.
We started the day with BIG breakfast, and went to Latrobe for lunch.
Played around the ferry area in the afternoon, filling in our last day in Tassie.
The habitat around here is quickly being built out, with remaining blocks for sale.
No burring crayfish spotted today, and the ferry was leaving before dark.
Thanks, Robmc.

#14489. The last day of our 3 week holiday in Tasmania. Robmc and I have left the lovely Mole Creek area and are heading to Devonport and the Ferry, but not before stopping in the very pleasant town of Latrobe where we perused the shops and enjoyed lunch by the Mersey with water and autumn views. Surprisingly, managed to gather up 16 caches for the day with 1 DNF.
Soon it will be extremely difficult to find some parking, what with the only spare block being for sale. A short walk, a quick look and the cache was soon to hand.
Thanks thistlecat

Found without too much trouble and without driving the local Crays crazy. Tftc. MattyH
A stroll around the suburban streets brought me to the park
Close to GZ,
I stood and stared
And stared ... [:o]
Eek !!
I almost fell over !! [:o]
I could see the cache from about 8 metres away !!
I had to remind meself I was in Devonport,
towne of so many cache blindness incidents
Logbook signed ...
... the caching day was really looking up
TFTC,
thank heavens there was a wind blowin',
so I noticed the cache swingin' [^]

Great camo. I nearly gave up and suddenly it was staring me in the face. I did see some chimneys as I retraced my steps back to the river and the RV stop.
Wow! What a cool hide!!
After a 10 minute search following my geocacher instinct all of a sudden it was right there in front of me, in the last place I expected!
A beautiful wetlands area hidden away in suburbia, I never would have known it was here if not for this cache. Disappointed to see all of the rubbish adorning it tho...

Hi there thistlecat.
We are camped in Forth, and plan to find geocaches all around the area in the next few days. We found your cache **"The Crayzy Cache"** at 12:06:00 PM today. (This brings our total find count to 18500).
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 8 caches (& DNF'd 1).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Catching up with some late logs.
Day four and our last full day of our Apple Isle visit with maccamob picking up a few caches while heading from Devonport back to Launceston.
We pulled up here and noticed some very nice homes in the area so it was great to see that some of the wetland area has been left as a park and we have to say that the ferns and trees in the valley looked very healthy. After a brief search in the wrong area maccamob spotted the little blighter from a distance and after retrieval we added our names to the log.
We didn't see any chimneys of the Central North Burrowing Crayfish nor had we heard of them or seen one before but at least because of the info on the cache page we have walked away knowing more about them.
Thanks for the cache and for the information.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Team Crackers, at 0920. A lovely area. Amused by the adjacent block of land for sale. How would the builders get in? Interesting details about crayfish. Our thanks to thistlecat.
Took a different route tonight and grabbed this cache first...I was searching for a while till suddenly it was in front of me...tftc
Never knew about this corner and the wetlands, thanks thistlecat this is why I love this game TFTC
The early morning sun helped. Our last day in Tassie & good find to start the day. Kutgw

This was our last cache for the day, in fact our last cache in Tasmania. A bit of searching and we eventually spotted the container.
This was find #121 on our 2 weeks of caching our way around Tasmania. Thanks for the fun and the memories

Quick find on an afternoon shopping outing which has turned into a caching one now the shootings out of the way TFTC
We're now two thirds through our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we're having fun finding the caches we didn't even know were here!
