Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Sounds like this one has disappeared into the depths so we'll source a new container. If you're brave and have a long arm you may be able to retrieve it. Back soon.
looks like its broken like everyone has said, pointed my light down there and i saw a massive spider with a nest, needless to say i ran away quickly !!
The cache seems to have been swallowed by the depths of the tree hollow.
We were sure we were going to get a smiley face for this one, as it had only been found a few days ago. It seems that the cache is now at the bottom of the tree hollow. Mr GT54 put his arm in as far as he could reach, and then placed his walking stick into the hollow and there is no way of getting the cache out from the depths of the tree. We will return once the cache is replaced.
An impromptu chauffeuring task to Movie World this afternoon (for my daughter to collect her drivers licence lost there yesterday) gave me the chance to grab the caches in the car park here.
While GZ was quickly found, I had to wait until my daughter and her thinner arms arrived back from her errand in order to extract the cache from its hidey hole and for me to sign the log.
Thanks for this find and smiley Herbs.

Holidaying with the family, with the obligatory day at MovieWorld, we arrived in the Carpark nice and early (we're still on NSW time, so that was easy) and with time to spare before the gates opened, I took a moment or 3 to wander along the lakeside to fetch this cache. I spotted the hole from a few metres off, but at first thought it was too deep - wandered to nearby trees and found no holes so went back to the first - and of course, found the cache . Moniker entered, cache tossed back in place and I returned to the fam for an action packed day inside the gates. Thanks for a convenient holiday cache Herbz - I would have been dissappointed if there wasn't one here
Nice small cache this was number 3/4 today for us.
This was a nice fun hide, Thanks for the cache!!

TFTC. Container was way down the bottom. Maybe check on this one and bring it up more.
Spent the day at movie world and then wandered over and found this. Unfortunately we forgot a pen and couldn't sign the log

Up from Sydney visiting Movie world with my family thought we would grab a cache as well TFTC!! Log was dry and a little room left to sign some more names. Found with ellejay05, Caitcat. 17 and hiddit
Have been here before, but didn't have a pen, so only wrote a note.
Today was the Nundah Sharks Swimming Club annual. Christmas break up party at Wet and Wild. Did you know that your Wet and Wild tickets can also get you into Movie World? I didn't.
So at 4.30, after climbing a couple of mountains (ok - the stairs ons about 30 Wet and Wild rides), we left Wet and Wild and made our way to Movie World. Here, the kids snuck in for a couple of high thrill rides (no queues at this time of the day).
My son Tom (too short for these rides) and I wandered over and found this cache. My arm couldn't fit that far down the hole. Tom grabbed it easily.
Thanks Team Herbz.

Found the hide yesterday however the groundsmen were all over the place so stopped by this morning to sign the log. Clever hide TFTC
After a lovely night at the Outback Spectacular we decided to go find some caches but we had forgotten to bring our torches so did this one by light from our mobile phones. Mrs Sandalwood Cottage saw the likely hiding spot but the God Daughter refused to put her hand in there, so Mr Sandalwood Cottage took a photo and we saw the cache's nesting spot so in he went - he is so brave....TFTC
TFTC quick find after hint. Was scared to put hand in there tho haha yayy 22nd day in a row and my 254th cache
Found after a fun day at movie world with the family. Pity about the long queues. Thanks for the cache.
I found this little cache whilst visiting from the Sunshine Coast. We were going to Movie World for Fright Nights.
It was a nice and quick cache to grab whilst waiting for others to arrive.
Thanks for the cache 'Herbz'. The cache is in good order.

A casual wander between muggles took us to the GZ, and casual observation took us to the cache.

In the area visiting family. Found while trying to look natural during morning peak hour. Quick find, TFTC
Out for a day at Movieworld and when we parked we saw the cache was nearby. So thehairbear and I did the dash in between traffic and it was a quick and easy find.
After signing he log the cache was returned as found. Then it was off for a day of fun.

TFTC - nearly got hit by a bus (but that's another story). GPS one phone was 3m off
Yippee our first QLD cache. Hello from Melbourne. Great little spot which we visited after a day at Movie World. TFTC
Before going to Movie World today, my son and I did this cache. My GPS was out about 15m but we walked along and made the find easily. TFTC!
Second cache for the day, nice hide great spot. Left a small kids trinket behind for the FTF.
I was taken here by a friend a while and he was convinced that it wasn't there any more and I was convinced he was wrong so on the way to a massage appointment today I decided to prove him wrong with a bunch of friends in two had no trouble finding it. And now comes the gloating lol tftc
Found it on a sunny winters day so muggles everywhere.......and because it was still morning they were come in thick and fast......so we took out the camera and pretended to be taking photos of the water birds, there were quite a few birds here....so soon had cache in hand and log signed tftc
I have been to Movie World so many times while taking groups of Chinese students in excursions. Today I just happened to wonder if there were any caches about. And low and behold, there are two. An easy find. A bit of a shame that the log isn't the original But still, a great hole.
Nice and easy find thanks to the hint Unfortunately as I was not paying attention to the ground, I stepped in what one can only describe as a stench that will not subside no matter how many times you clean your shoe!

Fun fact about Fujifilm:
The original Fujifilm logo dated 1934 reflected Mount Fuji in the background and did not contain the word "film" in it at all

Owl's family were busy on the rollercoasters, which due to recent surgery Owl was not allowed to indulge in. Instead she went caching. (There's a silver lining to every problem!) This was a conveniently placed easy find to get her started.
Cashing in our MyFun pass. Time for a quick cache. Might be my most eastern I believe. TFTC.
We're heading to Canada in two days and wanted to clean up the "MUST DO" caches on the Gold Coast. Today was our last free day so we took the time and went for it. This was the twelfth stop for the day. After a long day caching on the Gold Coast followed by a night cache and dinner we decided to stop in at Movie World on the way home. Dr THR drove past here everyday for work and always wanted to cross these off the list. So at 10 PM we pulled in. There was no one in sight so we snuck into the bushes where Mrs THR made the find. Have joined TheHawkeyePosse for holidays and little miss was with me to point me in the right direction. TFTC
Our first of hopefully many Gold Coast finds over the next 10 days while we are here on holidays. Nice hide in a nice spot. [email protected] TFTC Herbz
Out for a day heading down to the Gold Coast Hinterland, and with a little time to spare I thought I would stop into the carpark here and take a look at this one. Being early the nearby park was not open so there were few cars in the car park, giving ample chance to get into position.
Well I got into position, but I must have still been trying to wake up as it took me just a few minutes more then I thought it might of looking around and and around to find the hiding place. Eventually approaching from the right direction gave me a view of the hiding spot and the log was soon signed.

After a conference last week, a few days of Qld caching is almost at its end as we return to Vic tomorrow.

I think we left it too late to search for this cache. My GPS was jumping around quite a bit so we weren't exactly sure where to look. we searched some obvious places but didn't locate it. It was dark and the kids were tired and wanted to go home so we'll look for this cache another day.
Nice quick find with SarahCallus on our way from movie world to the Australian Outback Spectacular. Log is very full and requires maintenance.

Found while visiting Movie World of course. A quick stop on our way out of the park after a fine April day. Had a fun day on the rides. Last visit was on the park's first birthday a little over 20 years ago.
Log is full, so took a photo instead.

What a day!
Lots of fun for everyone and a cache to finish!
Left a TB and covered the cache a bit,
...as it won't fit in the cache itself.

A quick find after a long day inside. We arrived at peak entrance time and so decided to park nearby and make the grab before leaving. Much easier in the afternoon than at 10am! Log needs some attention. TFTC Herbz!
