No luck for us here today. The grass is long, however we did have a good look.
Nice history at GZ.
Thanks

Interesting spot here (and a great building, maybe an inn further south). Took a while to spot, but got it OK.
Thanks for the caches in the area. I missed a few, so will have to grab on my next visit.

I love this location and the building. Pity farmer Brown has left it for the animals to roam free. Replaced cache.
**The Day**
OCW *Mr ToC*, *Little Kitten* and *DustyJapserJet* for a quick weekend caching and cache maintenance, and WOW, what a weekend it was - Absolutely AMAZING !!! We had a fantasic time. A bit sunburnt [:o)] on the drivers side arm, tired, exercised and very happy from a journying through some amazing countryside. We found a bunny among bricks beside a cache , sheep running loose outside fencelines, fortunely No snakes . A hot day but a nice breeze is blowing.

Found while OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *DustyJasperJet* Thanks for the cache hide. SL and returned cache to where we found it.
>CO wbfoto is very busy working in the mines which is why the adoption hasn't happened yet. Also I have been trying to get out to GZ to check on/replace this cache as quickly as possible, but some thing has been preventing me. I can't go during the week as kids are in school and I wouldn't be back in time, so it has to be a weekend, but I have been on roster every fortnight. There are quite a few caches to check so I need to camp. Last weekend I had an event organised I needed to attend and I am on roster this weekend so I am aiming for next weekend.
No longer in the area to do maintenance . In the process of adopting caches in the area out. Hopefully this one will be back.
No brick ditto previous cacher, though gave the school house a good investigation, only not for the cache. My mother tells me about being schooled in a little place like this. Such a different way of life. Interesting place. Tftc
What a lovely little school building, with lots of sheep roaming around. As there had been lots of big road works along this section with big tyre marks right up to the fence and no bricks or any sign of a hide this one could be gone. Perhaps a check could be carried out.
Todays solo geo mission was boorawa, hovells creek, reids flat and up to whyangalla dam. A handful of caches, a few dnfs, plenty of roadkill and a near run in with a monster goanna. What a great day and enjoyed such scenic drives around too.
First time in this neck of the woods. Lovely and quiet today.

Wow, what an old log page in this cache. The paper was rusty??? or the colour thereof. Thanks for this old cache. TFTC
Cache 2522 on 6/5/17
SpecimenX and I headed out on a geocaching mission to Cowra today. We planned to get to Grenfell and Young as well, but caching took longer than we thought - the GPS was also slow to point the right direction, maybe because of the clouds. Around 35 finds and 8 DNFs for the day (a few too many DNFs sadly). Thanks to SpecimenX for a fun day and a few exciting memories to keep! We signed with Penn (pen) or Teller (stamp) depending if the log was big enough.
15th cache for the day, as we hit the dirt roads on our way to Cowra. Reasonably find quick find and on our way. TFTC.

After a bit of a geo hiatus, it was great to get out of the Can and set off for a geomission to Cowra with AngelG27. We had a great day collecting the caches as we went. A bit of a downer was the high number of DNF's due to missing containers, but the highlight of the day was seeing a Wedge-tailed eagle flying just over our car-awesome sight!
Onto the cache...
Quick find after going into the bushes
Thanks for the hide, wbfoto

School then certainly was not what it is today. There were no problems finding the cache hiding underneath the camo and the log was signed. Then went to investigate the old building which was not in good condition any more. Then again, it is old. Thank you wbfoto for placing a cache here and for bringing us to this historical site.
4519. A quick stop over on our way back from Wyangala and a quick find. Log book was a little damp, but should dry in this heat!!! TFTC.
The olde skool sitting out in the paddock looks like it could yet be restored !!
It had better happen soon or another skool will be out forever
The cache was a quick find, right where the clue said [^]
TFTC and detour to Graham this morning.
Now which was was Booroowa again ??

After being couped up at home for over a week due to an ugly illness, cabin fever was setting in and I needed out for the day.
I decided to hit the country roads and head north for a while before coming back south. I had a very enjoyable day out along the dirt roads exploring the country side. Lots of nice areas and caches to make things even better
Thanks wbfoto for placing these caches, lovely area especially on a day like today.

Replaced with a small green mint tin, for the time being. Interesting old school. Tftc
No luck here. First and only DNF of the day with mnjontour. Couldn't find the brick or cache [:p] even after a good team search. Still an interesting old school house. TFTDNF lol
Out on a day's caching with the Stormcatchers. Neither of us could find the cache or even the brick. Methinks it is no longer there..
Out on special caching run with LPUD to make my 150th and a special pick up.
We had a good search around GZ in every possible place however could not locate. There was quite a lot of overgrow here and it may be lost amongst it

Guess schools out for while. Another interesting spot I've missed. TFTC
After my previous treks of the morning I didn't fancy walking into the long grass. It was starting to warm up and I could just imagine that the snakes were too. I know, I'm a big woose. Sorry to give this a DNF as this place is full of history. A lovely young fellow came along (whilst we were trying to look inconspicuous) and gave us permission to go in and have a look at the old school house. Spock101 went on in whilst I stayed outside (there might have been snakes in there!!!). A bird flew out of the rafters and scared the bejesus out of him. I just laughed and breathed a sigh of relief that it was him and not me. TFTC
Wow, More great caches, I have been going past this little building for years and thought it was a old school, there are heaps of them around when you look but modern transport must of closed them, anyway next one.Tthanks
What a quaint old church, trying to imagine the teacher and students in the tiny building. Tftc

another interesting piece of history, gee I'm sure this would have been a bit drafty in the middle of winter, but looks like its time has well past.
thanks

Found this on a Wet Cold day on the way north to meet up with a muggle friend, today is the day to induct him to caching TNLN SL TFTC
It was surprisingly busy along here today, so this one was found whilst dodging the muggle traffic.
I'm hoping all the snakes are in hibernation due to winter cos I've been stepping in some dubious places today!

Now that's a cosy little school house. Nabbed in the company of a pair of Winglens and SolDeLune on an adventure through to Bathurst. Thanks for the cache.
Travelling through with Sol de Lune and Zsazsa7, and another quick pull over for a find. Not much remains here now! TFTC wbfoto.
Quick find on our way home from Canberra. Old buildings like this interest me greatly but with limited time we had to keep moving.

Quick easy find in a beautiful spot. Lucky we timed it right and was not stopped by a local to see if every thing was ok.

Quickly located and logged after removing some resident slimy critters.
The long wet grass wasn't much fun though. At least the rain seems to be easing.
Thanks.

This was the turning point for the day. With the fuel loot having been on for some time now, and our intended route was to head south and west and then north via a whole bunch of other caches. We knew the bridge to the North was out, but, the GPS found me another direct route to Cowra, so after easily finding this canister, we nursed the car into Cowra doing no more than 70kph to minimise fuel consumption.
We arrived with 5ltrs left in the tank.
Cheers

With all the rain we've had, some slugs had taken up residence outside of the cache. Found it ok and signed the log. Cheers.
We stopped close to where we thought GZ was to check our coordinates only to find that we had parked right next to the cache, I opened the door took a couple of steps and grabbed the cache from its hiding place. Thanks for the cache wbfoto
Quick find while heading past. Someone was working at the school....either that or someone has dumped a pretty good looking car behind the second building.
Thanks for the quick stop on my drive around the area.

The GPS wasn't happy at this one, so we had to do a bit of searching around, but we eventually located the cache and signed the log.
