No luck here even after a phone call to a previous finder for confirmation of the hidey hole. Can the cache owner please check this out.
Despite two pairs of eyes on the job failed to find this one - next time perhaps.
Passing by for a second visit with swebber04 (her first). Still an awesome view! TFTC
Thanks for the detour up to this amazing lookout which I would have missed if you had not placed a cache placed at this spot.
Find #1103, with this cache in particular marking the #77th find for the day (!) with agcnz and Yeetrees, after completing the new 52 cache skindo trail nearby. It was late in the day - so late it was rather dark we arrived at this cache after a good meal in Waipukarau, heading back to Wellington. Obviously no views at this time, but the cache was made light work of by agcnz and Yeetrees and found quickly - thanks. We will definitely stop here next time when we are up this way and the sun is shining! SL TFTC.
Came here about 6 months ago but no luck, the cache had gone. Called this evening on the way back to Wellington after a meal in Waipukurau and found it within seconds in exactly the spot I expected it to be in the previous time. Nobody else at all about at this time of evening so searching was easy. Signed log, thanks for replacing it!
After overnighting nearby we were on our way to the newly published Route 52 caches, but had to stop for a few Waipukurau caches first. Great views from the Pukeora Lookout. Had to take a second look before we spotted the cache - nice and dry. Thanks for bringing us to this spot, or we would have sped past on the highway below.

TFTC - found it with Rincey Jr (13y.o). Bit tricky as my GPS-R wanted to sent me over the fence, but I remembered a previous log comment about obvious hide - found it then .
took nothing, but left Travel Bug

First we struggled a bit, but then we found it at the only logical Location. Tftc say PurdiePurdie and merlellutz
TFTC. Two great reasons to stop here = the view and the cache , both were worthy. Found with Merlelutz.
We have been to this spot few times earlier without knowing there is a cache. It was easy to find without GPS. Greetings from Finland.
Quick find. I've always wanted to come up to this spot. Merry Xmas all and TFTC kennythekiwi.
Racing against the rain today, worked until 2pm, but the new flash rain jacket paid off then.

Easy find just as will we had the kids with us and were happy to go clamouring about at great heights.
Found at the second attempt, first try abandoned because of muggles. Fortunately one of us was over 6ft tall. Cache is overfull and impossible to put in anything worthwhile. Took a Harley Davison badge and removed cut up hotel pass cards and advertising.
Quick stop here on the way back from Hastings.
Not quite the advertised view today.
Dropped off the new and improved Kanga TB.

Easy enough to find, great views. ..and if you're taking kids, be prepared for the question about the drug paraphernalia left behind by the locals, they did wonder if that was the 'treasure'.
Great view, found two smoking utensils as well as cache (young locals must use this spot) easy find cheerz Jumboz
Arrived at the lookout and noticed a car load of muggles near GZ. Stopped by and decided to take a few photos and this was enough to scare them away. After they left I started searching for the cache, found some item there that are used for some illegal uses, decided to leave them alone. Thought that the cache might have being muggled BUT widen my search and found it safe and secure BUT not sure for how long. Just be very careful when looking for this cache. Thanks for bringing me to this lovely spot, TFTCTNLNSL (2632)
Found this without GPS & just rough notes from the satellite map. Nearly gave up but then got lucky. Happy New Year! Took 1 TB to move on and dropped another 1 in. TFTC.
Cache was pushed to far back to retreive but found a stick to assist the retrieve. TFTC
I recall coming over this as a kid in the back of my parents morry minor. The hill marked the nearing completion of a long, awful and exhausting trip with car sickness and my father smoking in the car back from palmerston North. Very happy to come here again

A quick easy find, despite the muggle family taking photos on the other side of the wall. Great view. TFTC

A cunning hide. While we were there some cars of Youth Group folks also called in on a Treasure Hunt, but their quarry was not the same as ours!
We’re on a mission to hunt down our 2000th cache and would have loved if this one was it. Nice hide, cache size and great scenery that would make a perfect family portrait. Alas it was not meant to be, as we’re still a few short of the big 2000! However, family did have a fun time gathering around with the cache in hand for a beautiful Hawkes Bay photo frame! The views were great! Thanks kennythekiwi for the cache.
Jr taybee has this own account how am logging this old find under his new Username (Jr taybee) was log as part of taybee team
5066 Quick find, great framed views, didn’t know about this lookout, thanks for bringing us here.
Nice find on a clear but windy day. Found where I first looked. Nice hide. Signed log. TFTC
Found easily today. Picked up Eeyore TB which had just been dropped there earlier today so not logged yet. When I was young my parents used to drive to Hastings from Makotuku to buy fruit for bottling and the road went over Pukeora Hill in those days.
I struggled with this one. Searched a while and a car pulled up with a couple also looking for the cache. They stayed a short time then left. I searched some more and found cache in a location I had already checked, but not well enough. SL Left GC TFTC
Found with geodatum after an orienteering event here. Four of us looking and took a bit of a hunt, although we were distracted by muggles for a while. The muggles wanted to take a photo of us in our orienteering tracksuits under the archway. We then all spent some time looking at the brick cross on the ground here and some mysterious numbers inlaid. None of us could explain these. We all enjoyed the great views in the sunshine. Took Canadian coin. TFTC
had a good look around also another geocacher looking for his 10th cache of the day but no luck
Quick find, must be the local park up spot judging by the evidence found at the scene. Could be a monster lurking in that green well!!
Nice little detour of SH2. A muggle was sat waiting in a car, perhaps for someone on a bus less then 5m from GZ but due to the way the hide is made we managed to log and move on quite quickly. Funny place for a well though !
great spot great views always wanted an excuse to drive this way TFTC

Great view!! Been up here to San Hill before, but never stopped at the lookout. Had a handful of muggles enjoying the view so had to stand around and pretend I was only there for the view before getting my serious hunt on. Cache was in a great spot too... nice hide! TFTC, me and my 3 boys enjoyed this as find 9 of 11 today.
A great lookout and some interesting history to the location. Had to wait for some muggles to finish their cups of tea and depart then it was a quick easy find, co-ords were bang on.
