While up in the area for work, we are knocking off a couple of caches each day. This one was nicely placed, Aussie Mary spotted the likely hide and Aussie Mark made the find. Thanks for bringing us to this memorial.
Looked and looked but no find.
Even tried undoing the plates on the flag poles and braved the wasps on the monument.

Found this with ease however log is full. Had to write on a thin strip and fit it in.
Found at 16.31hrs. Easy find. I love these Nanos.

After finishing a job in Ipswich, I dropped in on this one. It took a fair bit of hunting and a couple of glances before I spotted the well camo'ed beast. The log is very full and wants some replacing ASAP. Still mananged to squeeze my name in. TFTC Stu+1
After 20 minutes of searching every little nook and cranny here with no avail and about to give up, we decide one last look and the geowife runs her hands through the bark and oh whats that, bingo found it. Signed the log on what little space we can find and placed the cache back to where it looked like it should be hiding TFTC

Not to sure about this one... Thought it would be an easy find, and we even found a perfect cache hiding spot at GZ, however we came up empty handed. Hopefully it didn't get muggled around ANZAC day as there are still some wreaths at the monument.

This is the third one and second today....Easy to find but the log is full.....Not to worry.....Great fun and seeing parts of Ipswich I would not normally.....
Thanks for the cache. Our first ever micro. Spotted by the daughter after dad completely missed it. As before log is all full.
Neat little hide, managed to fool my muggle niece's eyes. As before log still full. TFTC
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 3:15pm. We looked for this cache for longer than we should have as it was in the first place we looked but we didn't see it. The cache log is absolutely full; no space left at all:- needs replacing. TFTC and the interesting nearby info.
Our 6th and last for the day. Many muggles in the near park BBQing but they didn't notice us poking around. Nearly gave up then I remembered a similar hide up near home - eurka - there it was. Great cache. Tks.
Just back from holidays and time to catch up on a few logs. We were up this way checking on our property and had time to grab a few local caches.
A nice easy find. The kids always love the nearby park.
Thanks

Found at 0755. Took a bit of finding and took time to read the memorial. Cache ok and dry. TFTC.
This is really nice here now, I have been away from Ipswich for awhile now and it is great to see that the council is making a lot of these waste areas user friendly SL TFTC
I know this cache is small, but my brother and Dad must have had a 'man' look
Not many people about in the wet. TFTC.

Light drizzle ensured we had the park and monument to ourselves. GPSr had us right in front of a likely hiding place, however, neither I or LightningJake were able to uncover the prize. Stellbell67 decided to have a look while we widened our search.... A total of 10 seconds later, she announced that we were both blind and produced the cache Oh well, all's well that ends well I had to sign log for the GeoKids, as their small hands couldn't write that small...

Found at 1455Hrs with bluegonz. My heart sank as we pulled up for this one with all the people in the playground and BBQ areas on a Saturday afternoon, but rose again when we realised where it is hidden.
Thanks Stu+1.

We found the prize easily and managed to extract the log without a tool, but needed one to extract the cache from its hidey hole. TFTC Stu+1
Even with kids in the nearby playground and a muggle reading a newspaper not far away, this was an easy find. However, I needed to first use my "log extraction" tool as a "cache extraction" tool . After a bit of fiddling, signed the log, but when I was ready to return it to the cache, noticed that I only had one piece of cache . The other bit had rolled into the nearby garden. Took a careful couple of minutes to find it, accompanied by much panic, I can tell you . Instead of the wonderful (read, matches the garden mulch perfectly) camouflage, a nice shade of hot pink would have been appreciated .
GPSr was spot on for a certain GZ. Where else would you put a micro that may or may not be a nano and possibly magnetic, my thought processes at the time.
Quick find at 1150. No trouble exstracting the log and replacing it. Read the history. No one around this morning. TFTC

This one took me a while to find, I actually went straight to it but didn't notice it came back and started again after 10 minutes of searching. Pointer is a little off the mark on the geocache app. Lots of muggles in cars but looking at the memorial helps. Thanks for the sneaky cache
As we drove up there was a bithday party being set up ,luckly it wasn't near the cache ,log it and this is the last for the day Thanks Stu+1
Having a late lunch and decided to check my emails from work... Turned out to be good timing as there was a series of new releases very close to work... [^]
So, a quick round up of GIB69 and Otious was in order but, they were too busy to join me... What the... So, coords in hand I was in the Gunniemobile and inbound to GZ on my own... When I arrived there was no shortage of ankle biters in the park but fortunately they were far enough away and were not going to prevent the hunt... I walked up to GZ and put my hand straight on the container... When I openned the log, *FTF* was all mine at 1340...
Never taken much notice of this memorial before. Thanks for meking me take the time to do so... [^]
Cheers Stu+1
