As we drive our way today from Broken Hill to Cobar, this was our first stop and the opportunity for a short walk and to stretch our legs. It was raining when we packed up Camp this morning, but now the sun is out and the temperature is quite beautiful. It was great to come for the short walk here. All good with the container and log. Thanks farmer--brownDomsky
Wow what a great cache farmer--brown, and such fun to find. We've been in Broken Hill for a few days and now heading north to warmer weather hopefully. We found your cache in great condition with a dry log, and excellent coords. Buddy the geodog helped us with this one. Found on May 23, 2024. # 9211

A Leap Year Mega draws us to Adelaide. Today's our intrepid group has our 5th full day of caching. We are using the Acronym 5 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Most of the caches this day were nice quick finds. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 25th February 2024. TFTC, farmer--brown.
Heading to SA for the Mega event with geo friends and zigzagging our way around the countryside to grab a few LGA's and some targeted caches for a challenge or two. Staying at some lovely country towns and enjoying the local history in each place we ventured. To save space on log sheets, we used our team name of 5 for QLD.Most caches found were in good condition and a credit to the owners who have been maintaining them.Thank you for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment.

#522Having no service and only a tuff estimate of where the cache is I spotted the geotrail and followed that to a pile of rocks I thought it wasnt there because I was looking for a regular until I spotted it. Lost of annoying flies making it hard to sign. Found with no service or hint. Thanks for the cache.

Freddo and Team Waldron headed to warmer climes around Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Cunnamulla
and Charleville.
After a cold start in Broken Hill the weather improved once we got further north. Sadly our last night in Broken was wet which, pardon the pun, put a dampener on things.
All up it was a great week away and lots of caches were found with only 3 dnfs.
Thanks to all who placed and maintained their caches. The occasional cache was damaged and we refurbished it and we also left new logbooks as required.

Found with Coybear2000 while driving to Broken Hill. We stopped and headed to GZ. After a short search we had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and it was back in the car and on our way. TFTC.
Touring with @trodectus , this cache was on our list heading for Broken Hill. It was a quick find once at GZ. Log signed and returned. TFC
We tried. But there was no signal. The GPS was bouncing. We flipped rock after rock. We gave up.
We continued today our tour in NewSouthWales, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to farmer--brown for the generation of this nice cache Spring Hill Cache (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Together with my son, I am on a camping trip from Sydney to Broken Hill and back. On our 3000 km journey over 11 days we have seen some wonderful little towns, beautiful landscapes and many interesting geocaches.
The next leg of our travels: Cobar to Broken Hill. Of course we used geocaches to stop for a stretch of the ol' legs.

This was a much needed wander and brain break from the 500km I have already done. I am almost at Broken hill and really needed to defog my head. This took me a little while and the hint certainly makes sense. It just doesn’t narrow it down. I managed to check nearly every single one and silly me started with the little piles. When I did find it I jumped a bit and nearly took my toe off! I left a piece of paper logsheet in with the full one and laud a pathtag beside the cache for the next finder. I love the plants!
Thanks for this quick grab on the way through. Kept kids motivated on our roadtrip. TFTC.
Thanks for placing this cache. It was a welcome quick walk. Log is getting pretty full but we didn't have a replacement. Tftc

Yet another nice little excuse to pull over to stretch the legs, and we were fortunate enough that we had plenty of time to get to Broken Hill before the sun went down. A quick find here.

Leaving Broken Hill to stay overnight in a campground in Wilcannia. This was a quick grab which is good as it was starting to get dark.
Day 7 of our road trip already, today we leaving Broken Hill for a long drive to Dubbo. Not that many caches on the way and that's good, because 40° does not make good caching weather!

I imagine this cache is not the original, as it's not the rated 'regular', for it's now a 'micro' sized cache. Cache and log are good. Some interesting rocks with holes in them. TFTC farmer--brown.
Scourching day!!! With the temps over 49!!! But the caching must go on!
Stopped in here as part of our Great Western County Hunt. It has been a truly incredible trip, as I managed to pick up the last four counties I needed to fill in my NSW county map. A super exciting thing to complete. Thanks for enabling our crazy adventures. Thanks for the cache.
