We've decided it's time to let these ones go. Too much maintenance & downsizing containers etc to just plain micros is below our standard of hide, and besides some of the vegetation in places is getting damaged. We will be removing the containers and any trackables shortly. Thanks to all those that have found them.
#385....found with my Geo-Niece. We were a bit worried when we got to GZ to find a small tupperware lid sitting out in the open but after a quick search we found the cache. The Tupperware lid was innocent! The lid has broken off the cache and needs replacing. Thanks for bringing us here
Found after the rain on a Sunday afternoon ride with the geo-son around the airport and Cooks River. This was close to where we started from but there were too many muggles around GZ the first time past. Much better searching conditions at dusk after a ride to Tempe and back and liquid refreshments at Kyeemagh RSL. I did find #2 some years ago - must bring the rest of the crew back for a ride to Cronulla. Many thanks Hancock Clan
Found after little search around. TFTC

2 out of the 4 snap locks have broken off(possibly from UV?) and the camo mentioned is nowhere to be found.

We weren't going to tackle this one after noting it hadn't been found in a while and a DNF. Found with Bluewattle after venturing in to GZ from different directions at GPS had us going all over the place, TFTC
Found with Snickersallan, wasn't to keen on attempting this one with the DNF's, may as well give it a go. Took a while as dedicated caches that we are, we finally had CIH.
Attempting the whole ride today - and the Sutherland Cycleways one too. GPS had me going around in circles in the heat. That plus all the spiders made me give up after about 20-25 minutes. Will come back on a cooler day.
After going 'round in circles and wondering if muggles were looking at this guy on a hot Sydney afternoon, I found it! Dropped off TB that I hope ends up on a big plane nearby. TFTC

Rumbled down the thin black line again late last night through the Big Smoke towards Botany Bay hoping to pick up a few caches in the Rockdale, Arncliffe and Brighton Le Sands districts in the cool of the evening. Had to use my cloak of invisibility for this one due the Muggles parked just metres away watching the Areoplanes take off and land. Thanks to all who made my evening memorable, Thanks for the adventure
Thanks for the great cache The Hancock Clan(8D)

Great view of an A380 landing to the North. Grabbed this almost by mistake as its a dark night. On my way to Sydney for yet another work trip, this time breakfast with CEO at a local hotel. TFTC
This morning seemed like great excuse for a bike ride to attempt to complete this series and obtain the clues that i had forgotten to get the first time around. Once we widened the search the cache was unearthed and the clue made sense TFTC
We started our bike ride, from the nearby car park.. Looking for this set.. 1st one found... Woohoo.. TFTC
TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity. TNLN
I used to fish here regularly. Now I'm fishing for something else. Love this area. Tftc.

My first attempt at a night cache - ended up needing a little help from the CO. Beware if you take the kids on this one - poo (and worse) on the paths around the cache site. Tread carefully!

The kids loved this one. Put a few extra goodies in there for the next geokidies. TFTC!
23/07/14. 11:49 AM. Cache #1725. 3rd of 4 caches today - after finding "Take Off!" just down the road a bit. The hint threw me...I saw the flowers of a certain type a few metres from GZ, but it wasn't there. Trusting the iPhone instead (didn't have my Garmin with me today), I moved elsewhere and still took a while to find it. Something else made me understand the hint now. One more for the day next: BBBB#2. TFTC }:)

Found on a beautiful sunny blue sky day! Great spot. Log is still damp and has a hole in it. TFTC
Just got in from SF and wanted to grab this one to update TBs etc. Took a few minutes for the phone GPS to settle but scouted around and soon found it. Camo no longer attached. Contents wet but log OK. Nice views of the planes from here. TFTC!
Log was a bit damp as there is a large ish hole in the log bag.. Also the camo has become unattached to the container.. Fun cashe seart of a good day cashing!! TFTC

GC Buddy: PK1965
Cache condition: good - but camo has fallen off.
Log condition: not sure
Logged a DNF sometime ago while caching with Muggle Nik. Today it became a happy smiley
I first went in to the bush, while PK1965 was looking for TakeOFF (the cache near by). GPS was pointing 2.3m in to the bush... went in a circular motion around the bush and back and then back again and aha! found the cache!

The rain finally stopped falling so it was off for a quick Geocache to find this one. Noticed that the ziploc plastic bag, that holds the log book, has a tear in it. This bag should really be replaced, as the inside of the cache box is quite damp. TFTC.
After a bit of stumbling round in the dark we got it. A bit soggy, could do with a bit of attention. Thanks
Lovely spot! Tricky find at 11pm but we did it in the end! Cache is a bit damp and needs some TLC. TNLN, thanks!
Ok, first for the day-let's try for some more

Found this lovely spot thanks to caching. Loved watching planes take off. No TB in cache, was hoping it was there as it was one I'd moved on before! Thanks for the cache signed log, noticed I am the third finder today!
The Boofhead found this on (appropriately) April Fool's Day. A beautiful day in Sydney for a bike ride along the Cook's River path. Had a flat white at Brighton-le-sands, a swim at Kyeemah and then a cache find here. Left two trackables which have been on a few little adventures with me including Lauretta's visit to the SCG to see the opening game of the MLB 2014 season. Easy find. Tftc.
I was last here in May 2013 and, in the pre-dawn dark and rain, failed to find this cache even though I spent some time fumbling about. Today, I was accompanied by YGAT who found it instantly [:(!].
The coordinates are excellent, I don’t know how I previously missed it despite the atrocious conditions.
In May last year, #3 and #7 were disabled but I was able to find them today so, with this previously unfound one, I now have all the preliminary caches in this series.
Took GC, SL, TFTC The Hancock Clan.

This was a straightforward find, I don’t know what Mr MR was fussing about. The camo is the worse for wear but still works. SL TFTC
Lovely day to go for a stroll and take in the art exhibition along the cycleway. Another clever hide by The Hancock Clan. Left a geocoin TB to start on a journey. SL; TFTC.

Had a trackable in my kit that wants to go to Asia as part of a race and had problems finding a cache clost to the airport.
A couple trying to repair a Kite at one and others to small so this was it. Lets hope someone going to Asia gets to take it.
Visited a group of trackables enjoying a day out.

As usual, I took the long route in and walked in from the beach. We had sooooo much sand in our shoes at GZ! I was running late for an event. This, I hoped would be a quick find. But knowing THC's camo's, I knew it would take us much longer. We spent a good 25 minutes to find the cache at gz.
2 reasons we couldn't find it:
1. We didn't know what to look for
2. Running late, the focus needed was lacking.
So I am logging a DNF to say, "I shall be back!"

We headed here on our bicycles in order to do this series but this is the only one we ended up getting as we gave up at #2 since it was hidden in a dodgy spot. Might give it a go some other day.
Although we've been living near this area for a long time already we didn't get a chance to find that cache
After some time we finally managed to find it!

This one proved a little harder than I thought but in the end, I found it. I don't know if I'll have time for it, but the whole trail would be nice to do. Oh well, one is better than none! Left Chip 'n' Dale TB who have previously never left North America but would like to see the world. TFTC
Fresh from finding "Zero Seven" I headed directly on my GPS track (walking from car) towards GZ. Spent a few minutes looking around and then spotted it. Nice camo. I felt comfortable looking around as the spot is away from most prying eyes. TN Left a peg and a pencil. SL. TFTC The Hancock Clan.
Its 11/12/13 so off to the Sutherland Shire cacher's get together this evening

Thanks to the bad GPS on my iPhone, we made this search a lot harder than it needed to be. Luckily Luke found it pretty quickly after a good think about it or else we would have been searching for a long time in the wrong spot. Took TB, left pen.
Was scratching my head wondering what the clue meant when I spotted it! Signed at 12:40pm and headed on across the bridge. It was about now that I realised that pedestrian access had run out and I could not get to the airport this way. Decided to backtrack a bit and go around, realising that I might have to walk right around the airport and hoping I had time.

Out for a walk today with geodaughter, I had a good long search here but the camo was too good for me.
Great camo job; reminded me of my days in the US Army and camouflaging my steel pot. Traded TBs. TFTC!
In the area thought I would check one off favourite caches. Still intact. Took TB to show it some greener pastures.
Raindoctor found this before I could even get the phone out to confirm the coordinates, plus I was standing right there! >___<
Gah! How did I miss this last time?! Good to get this series started, now if only I can drag raindoctor with me...

A short drive from Take Off! Misspalot knew where GZ was and the find was quickly made. I've always wanted to ride my bike along here. I did the Wollongong track the other week so hopefully will find time to do this one soon too

Another quick find. Enjoyed the camo as it seems out of place here. Took TB and coin left a few things in return. Tftc Hancock clan. Oh camo needs some attention, coming away from cache.

Great spot, plenty of parking and planes to look at while waiting for departure.
Very stinky bin nearby though!
Made the find after 5 mins, signed, checked out some very old trackables and returned.
Thanks for the cache!

Looks like this series will have to be Botany Bay By Foot for me! Came out this morning and looked everywhere for the clever camo, although the search proved to be unsuccessful, geobeau and I did catch a few planes take off. Might give cache #2 a go...
This one took me a little while to find as the GPS was all over the place and the clue was not providing a huge amount of help. Glad I persevered and checked all locations as I did finally locate the cache and the clever camo (although as others have said it is detached from the container). Tips for new finders: keep looking, it is there but may not be obvious (especially the bit that the clue references). I really wanted to find this one as I had a number of TBs with goals of overseas travel and this was one of the closest caches I could find to the airport.
Left the following TB's:
- Elli and Flip want back to Germany - as the name says, they want to go to Germany
- Four Corners Benchmark Micro Geocoin - wants to go to the USA
- The Adventuresome Giraffe - wants to go to the USA
- Gabe's Geico Race Car - wants to go to Hawaii
Travel safe TB's!

Realised when I finished this series on the 15/9/13 that I had forgotten to log this cache when I visited.

Great hunt for five kids aged between 18 months and three years although we had to pitch prams about 100m from GZ and lost view of them. Camo still in need of being reattached. SLTNLN. Thanks for the hunt.
Cache was well tucked away with camo in place, but not attached (so clue was no help at all to find it). Took a bit of searching. A calm, sunny late Winters day perfect for a stroll along the beach. TFTC.
Easy find, too easy was in open view. Harder to find was the cammo which had blow into the bush.
Container tucked into the shrubbery a bit with a branch pinning down the cammo. A bit windy there today, a minor wind storm sand blasted me and I had a bit of a chase to retrieve the cammo.
Thanks Hancock Clan.

My Gosh that took some HARD work. Came down today to go to the RAA 23 Feild Regt Home in kogarah.
After finishing there set off to find some Sydney Caches.
Thought it would be a DNF but as is seamingly normal about to give up and there it was!
Thanks Acko
