Sorry to hear you didn't find it. I'm disabling it for now until a different hide can be created for the spot.
Sorry but we also did not find. Fairly certain we were in the right location and the locals verified that if we were looking for "it" others said it was gone.
This cache was checked a couple of days ago and is still in position. Please note that just because you can't find it doesn't mean it's muggled or needs archiving at all.
Had a good look around and found were it should be but it has been muggled. Needs to be archived or replaced!
# 3719. Out searching for some new letterboxes and hoping to get a couple of caches along the way. Haven't done any over this way before. This was to be the last for the day.
I missed the turn-off for this areas as my GPS was still pointing forwards so I had to continue on and find somewhere to turn around. Drove into the picnic area and it certainly didn't look inviting today. The river is almost to the top of the banks everywhere I have seen it today and the area is soggy and rather muddy. Found the right place to look but this is another one where you need to be at least 6 feet tall. Got it in the end for a quick sign and return and now to reverse out of here. TFTC

Great spot we suspect that there is a resident possum taking care of cache. TFTC
A nice place to stop and a fairly easy find. We were surprised thee was no one there on a Saturday in the school holidays. Left trackable.
We pooped in here 2 weeks ago but didn't have a look due to all the campers. Today was a little quieter and we were able to make the find with the help of some car cover.

What a lovely spot. I drive past here regularly but have never stopped. TNLN TFTC
No campers or picnickers were at this lovely place today when we went for a cache hunt. Thanks for bringing us to another great place Coruze.
The GPS was all over the place here so I went looking based on the hint and found the spot without any bother. TFTC.
A pretty spot for a cache, and a nice easy find. We have done some of your caches in most of the towns around here Coruze...you sure do get around. TFTC.
Found with Wackydo whilst enjoying a week in the Bright area after the Oz Mega event. Nice little area. TFTC Coruze
#562 found on a day of 22 finds with multiple types found mainly traditional caches and some extras. This was the final day of the Easter weekend which yeilded me 5 days of caching and found 83 for my efforts along with many involved in the H&H Mega event challenge. This was the culmination of what was the best weekend of caching to date on this my 162 day of continual caching.
#7 of 22 for the day another great location with plenty to see. This was interesting as seeing other areas that have been flood effected brings home the reality of it happens and that it is not always isolated.
Thanks Coruze for bring me here.

Quite a few muggles camped here for the long weekend. One whose tent was practically upon GZ. We stopped and had a chat and let them know we were part of an event happening in Albury Wodonga, so as not to freak them out. They were quite interested. TFTC, a lovely area.
Lovely serene spot! My GPS was trying to send me into the river which my geodog Curly wanted but that didn't seem sensible lol. Had a bit of a look around and bingo. SL at half twelve. TNLN. TFTC Coruze.
This is a beautiful little park! Next time I visit hopefully I'll have more time to stop and smell the roses. TFTC
Significantly less water here now than the last few previous visits to this spot, which enabled me to retrieve the cache without getting wet feet.
TNLN, Cheers.

Quick find. Lucky I brought a small ladder, not a location for short people! TFTC TNLN

Had the whole picnic area to ourselves this afternoon, found the cache high and dry. TFTC
Our attempts to check this cache have been met with muggles not wanting to leave. Until we are able to get to it we will temp disable it. We will have it back up and running asap
Unable to find this one. Even stood on nudge bar of GeoPathfinder to get a better look. Will try to return again.
went to location today but there is a caravan set up looks like it has been for a while.
will try again some time in the future.

Had a good look. I assume a bit too high for me to get, and didnt have anything to help (unless I'm looking in the wrong place!). Another time!
Robmc gets another chance to try his 4WDing skills getting to this one. Not really but there was plenty of water to drive through and may I add, walk through.
Thanks Coruze. Still hoping to get back to Yack sometime. Sort of missed it this trip.

Well, we could see why the cache was called U River - the whole park was under water.
It is very luck that the cache was off the ground!
We had to do a river crossing to get to it though
Thanks, Robmc.

Located in the beautiful Kiewa Valley.
Found with not much help from KTJ&J. Lucky I had my Meridian Magellan!
Almost had arm bitten off by possum hiding in tree hole .............. OOPS
Thanks for the bubble mixture, replaced with cowgirl.
Great location!
This is our first of many more to find:)

Found with Caribou and Integrityguy. Last of 10 caches today. Beautiful location, easy find. TFTC TNLN
As I mentioned to Suzanne from Coruze, this was found on the ground, but untouched otherwise.
Perhaps the hollow in the tree floods it out with rain. Talking of flood, I had to park beside the bridge and circumnavigate a path around the flooded waters near GZ. Great to see so much water in the area after the droughts.
My thanks to Coruze for showing me this great spot, I'll have to come back and throw a line in here at some stage.

#2 for the day the picnic area definitely needs to be tended to.
The cache was located out on the ground in the middle of nowhere. the log was wet and needs maintenance, unfortunately we didn't have any spares to replace it with.
We signed the log with pencil.

No joy with this one yesterday, although splashing through the water in the picnic area entry in the battle truck was fun!

This was one was a must on our cache weekend tour of the area as it was the closest to our new in-laws (3KM away) after our daughter married a local lad from around these parts.
The GPS had a field day trying to find this one and initially had me walking into the fast flowing waters that surrounded the parking area. Persistence eventually paid off, not before I rebooted the Oregon 300, and the cache was hidden in an easily accessible location. The long wet grass was a bit of an issue though, particularly as I was in non-bushwalking gear.
We took nothing but left a cuddly koala that reflects where we're from, before heading to the in-laws for a cuppa and some reminiscing over the wedding

Reperio at 1105. came by here this morning expecting it to be still a bit wet, but surprisingly the ground was barely damp. With such long grass I was more worried about snakes than anything else. Cache was found quickly, although the little gecko lying underneath it gave me a start.
Gratias.

The Kiewa Valley hwy is still closed just past Kergunyah, it didn't stand up so well to the floods! One things that stood up fine to the floods was this cache
I've picked up the candle and left a book. Thanks for the cache

Went to find this while I was in the area but didn't pack the canoe, had to give it a miss
Found quite easily although the longish wet grass meant that I had wet shoes and socks for the rest of the day. Took the Yack nails and left a candle.
Found 28/07/2010 14:27 . I was able to leave the GPSr in the vehicle for a nice quick find albeit one with a rather unpleasant odour in the air [xx(] ... curiously I couldn't see anything obvious causing it [?]

#449 Found at 8.40pm. WOO HOO our 22nd FTF & our 1st JOINT FTF with Big Ez from Team Haveanez . We saw the notification come through and after the excitement from earlier in the night we decided that we should stay home & let The GeoPrincess enjoy her bath. .....until the "bat phone" lit up with a call from Big Ez saying "are you going?". "So how 'bout a joint assault on this one" plan was formulated. Again with a heavy heart the Queen stood guard at skullracing HQ while Dad saddled up the Ninja Golf and collected BigEz from the Haveanez HQ. After a mini discussion on which would be the quickest approach road they went with BigEz's suggestion which the Garmin agreed with. After a short trip & much conversation we arrived at GZ and alighted from the NinjaGolf armed with the caching might of 2 Garmins & an iPhone (you can never have too much of anything ). A short attack on GZ followed with the cache soon being in hand in a manner we expected it to be in . With anticipation mounting it was back to the NinjaGolf and......a pristine glad bag and a blank page...there isn't a better sight! . After much exciting logging we replaced the cache and drove back with big smiles......[^]

Whoop Whoop!! FTF #15 and out first joint FTF with team Skullracer1!!
Well, with Mrs H & Geokids in bed due to the 'bug', BigEz was on a solo mission for this......but he came up with a better idea and went for the 'boys nite out option' and headed out with 'Dad' from Skullracer1! Big Ez loaded up in the undercover "Ninja Golf" for the trip out!!
After a brief search the boys had come up trumps!! Definately worth the trip! A nice place for a cache.
Thanks for bringing us out here. Another place we hadn't been to or a while,
TNLN SL
Thanks to Skullracer1 for the "Ninja" experience & sharing the FTF!
