Game over for this geocache, the area looks in need of regeneration. Sad to say goodbye, thanks to all who came by.
Had a bit of a look, but then got put off by the number of DNF's. I assumed it was the Tarata, on which there don't appear to be many hiding options.
2nd time here, for some reason my gps was waaaaaay our the first time lol. Had some help with IceBerguson tftc
Found it on the ground in the leaves, have hung down off a branch. But the log was rizla type paper and had got a bit wet. Prob best to change out with better paper.
Micros in trees fill me with dread. Luckily my wife found this pretty quickly. Found after a family swim. TFTC!
Whew! Glad I spotted that. It is starting to get a little gloomy and this could have been more of a problem. Quick find tonight for me, TFTC La Vista, all good.
Most times I am in Christchurch and drive between one sisters house and another, from Barrington to Mandeville, I try to take slightly different routes to seek out a few caches on the way. Tonight I got another 4. Thanks all COs, all good with them all.

Back in the big city for the weekend and have a few hours to kill before heading to the movies ...so have the boys navigating around the suburbs for a few caches.
No problems tftc

Found on a wander with my bro who just moved in to Laura Fergusson nextdoor. Gave us a purpose for our walk. TFTC
I'm in Christchurch with my wife who is undergoing surgery in Christchurch Hospital and what better way to take my mind on what's happening to her than to go geocaching. I was actually down here with her about a month ago for a similar operation and it was then doing the Thompsons Track crossed my mind. I passed on it then, but when I mentioned it to a fellow cacher back home, he said to get in fast as the CO is about to archive them due to the high maintenance burden. I wonder if he has considered adopting them out.
WooHoo I've recently finished it. It took me 6h 40m with an average of 5m 30s each cache if you include the three DNF's I looked for. Not a record breaking event but I'm happy considering I was flying solo. Found 70, DNF'd 10, but in retrospect the stats should have read 71/9. My best day so far (previous was 60) and I'm not finished yet. I intend to head back to the city in time for afternoon visiting at the hospital picking up as many PnGs as possible and then go out in the evening to get enough for a century.
I decided to head out to the east of the city and work my way back to the hospital in time to visit Mrs Kiwimykl, then carry on towards the west until it got too dark or I got my century, which ever came last. After visiting hours at the hospital, it was my intention to work my way west from the CBD culminating in a find at the airport Virtual, but I figured it would be dark when I got there and I wasn't sure of the chances of getting the requisite photo in the low light conditions, so I went there first and will work my way back to town. As I headed back towards town I kept an eye out for what looked like to be QEF PnGs to get my last few caches to get to 100 in a day which probably accounts for a slightly drunken track across town. If I had of zoomed in on the map and seen this was located by Jellie Park, I might have by-passed it, but I didn't realise until I had pulled up. To late I thought, besides the cache looks like it will be out of view to most, so I went for it. I waited until the ladies on the other side of the fence had finished their conversation and moved on before I made my way to the cache to make the QEF PnG.

I found this two days ago but my BYOP wasn't playing ball and I couldn't sign the log. I am really glad as I had a lovely walk to GZ today and a fantail visited while I signed the log. My previous memory of GZ was tolieting a dripping wet, cold preschooler in the bushes when the swimming complex was evacuated following an earthquake. A fair few years ago now. Nice to have a new positive memory of this spot. TFTC.
Great wee cache, thanks we forgot a pen to sign log sheet so will come back again to do that
I was targeting caches that I new had the next clues I needed for the mystery at the museum and this was one. As I was catching with just my phone, I wandered around for a bit before coming back to the same spot, very sneaky so a fav point awarded
Quick cache while kids play in pg. Bumped head on low branch once retrieved. Going to be a bump in the morning! TTFC

We got to GZ and the coordinates were jumping around and took us nowhere near the cache at first. Then we looked at the hint and description and narrowed it down to a small area. We eventually found it and were delighted to sign it. Awesome camo and great cache. TFTH
Yeah a smiley earned. Second time
around and my phone was sending me all over the place. Backwards and forwards to the pool as I am n old fashioned one with no data.
In the end found it, always surprises me how you can look and not see it.
Thanks

We are in ChCh to collect some points for the current souvenir hunt: Cache Carnival. Last time we were here the cache was missing. This time it was an immediate find. Great camo but just where it it to be. Thanks for placing the cache for everyone's enjoyment
In Christchurch for a few days to do some painting. In this area for an event, finding some caches before flying home. Thanks La Vista for the cache.
Didn't realise I was so close, but before I drove off I figured I'd check if there were any nearby. Glad to add another smiley to the collection! TFTC
Turned out to be a relatively quick find after turning on the geo eyes. Managed to slip in between muggles. Lovely day. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 1827
Staying nearby for a couple of days and while the rest of the house were sleeping I am out making a find. Tucked away nicely camouflaged well.

No success for a while so read description properly. Once I started looking for a smaller container I soon had the cache in hand.

I had walked past here during daytime before but the whole area was swarming with muggles, didn't even attempt to search.
Now we came by on the way to pick a friend up from the airport. THere was only one muggle in the vicinity, a man trying to chase down his escaped og. I think he got him in the end and everything went well.
Finding the cache was no problem either, even in the darkness. Had a couple of lightning flashes light up the way

A quick find by junior cacher after a refreshing swim to cool down on a scorching hot day. TFTC!
We searched for some time but without luck, there was rest from kids tent, so they might find the cache before us
Down from Whangarei for the weekend for a wedding and what do you know..?? A cache not even 100 metres from our book a bach accommodation, so just had to zip out to look for it, before heading out for dinner.
A quick find of the nicely camo'd container. TFTC

Found with Dirtyhelmut on our last day in new zealand. On the way to the airport we stopped for some Geocaches. TFTC
Before leaving New Zealand Mel180 and me stopped on our way to the Airport for some quick Caches ! Thanks for them !
In Christchurch for a family celebration. We’d just dropped off our brother at the airport and my sister decided we’d look for a few caches on our way ‘home’. Took a few minutes to find this one - well camouflaged cache! #1525. TFTC.

Found with Tuolei en route to the airport.
Was a bit soft underfoot after all the rain and a good hide.

Found with mmchim at the end of a work trip to Christchurch. They were kind enough to take me to the airport and to add insult to injury, add a side trip to grab some geocaches.
At first the phone pointed me to a macrocarpa but common sense prevailed and the compass needle swung around to the right spot. A find for mmchim here - while I focused on the hint, she interpreted more liberally, and obviously, more correctly. I think a similar hide to one by the same CO I found at a multi yesterday perhaps.
A few kids in the playground but noone paying the slightest bit of attention to us so all good here. Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache.

From reading past logs and thinking about the description, I'm sure I found where it should be, but I couldn't find the cache. Will try again another day if someone else managed to find it.
Found this a month ago but couldn't sign as no pen! Clever hide in a busy Park. We're here loads for football (like now) and would highly recommend bringing your Frisbee to play some (Frisbee) disc golf - it's great fun! TFTC SL
Looking all over and feeling abit bleh I was ready to give it away but while I tried to look it up on my phone to wean a few hints from previous log Mum kept looking. Once I seen that tarsh had also DNFed this the day before we gave up.
Looked everywhere could not find it even my husband had alook. Will try again later.
Almost a year ago I had a DNF, now I have found it. It was an easy find today. GPS,HINT,CACHE all in good order. TFTC
Holidays in New Zealand! We have been looking forward to them for years. We had lots of time to prepare ourselves for a great trip. As geocachers, we also picked out a number of great caches. Armed with a "to-do list" and accidental encounters we were lucky to log many caches. Thank you for placing them and keeping the game go on!
Day 28/28: Christchurch
Our final day in and around Christchurch, piked up some more caches, thanks.
This was found number 7057

I have returned the cache. I think the man that I saw yesterday lives in the clearing in the bushes next to the cache. Please keep that in mind if you are going to grab the cache in the evening/night or early morning.
I decided to grab this one on the way to the gym. I walked around and soon spotted it. I grabbed it and went to sign the log, then holy heck! There was a man sitting in the bushes watching me! I got quite a fright and he kept staring at me so I high tailed it out of there with the cache in hand. I'll come back tomorrow and replace it. Sorry. Tftc.
Looked. Then looked up clue in google. Then thort about cache name and viola! There it was. Tftc
Out for a morning walk with M to help ease the pains of Christmas & Boxing day overindulgence, we decided a brisk walk around Jellie Park was the order of the day, of course I took my GPSr & a pen too!
This one had us scratching our head for a little bit but eventually the cache was spotted and the log was signed.
Love the look of the frisbee golf course in the park, will have to bring the kids back for a game or two. TFTC!

This park was popular on a sunny Saturday
GZ was a bit quieter though, and I could wander around in peace looking for the cache
The clue put me in the right spot.
And after a few minutes of really hard looking ...
... a cache found
Slam Dunked even !!
