A pleasant walk this afternoon to this cache. The log is damp but able to be written on still. TFTC
We got a bit worried this one would be gone, but located, noted code word and completed log - TFTC
A day out with Kolour caching on the North side. She made the list today and I just followed along. After spending a long time looking and not finding the last cache it was good to have a quick find here. This is my first Catweazle cache and now I am keen to find the rest. Especially if they are all such great caches as this one. It's in great condition considering it's age and location. Thanks for the great cache aandm!
A plan was made with Brissy Cat to find some specific caches on the north side including some that I was needing for challenge caches. This was near one of those caches and I was also keen to find this one as Im more than halfway through finding this series. A quick find at gz, logbook signed and clue noted. All good here considering how high the flood debris is in the trees. Tftc
Well....this area has been under a LOT of deep H20...I initially assumed it'd claimed the cache...but...compass took me str8 2 it...& the cache is still well secured but has obviously been under H20..glad 2 avenge my previous DNF! T4TC:-)
The last of the series for me, I chose the right end to start looking where the hiding spot jumped out at me. Log signed and final clue noted. TFTC
aandm I found your cache Catweazle (3) - The Sign of the Heavenly Twins on 10/5/2023, 2:45 pm. This is my find 5274 and find # 6 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

Out for a quick bit of caching before work, trying to earn this months 100 find souvenir.
This was found after a little bit of searching. However on opening the cache there was no log book inside. Sorry I only had a pen on me and not my bag as then I would have had a spare log.
I did note the clue written inside.
Just as I was returning the cache I saw my first muggle along here this morning walking his dog.
This was a lovely area for a walk.

I’m impressed with the sturdy construction of this one! Out finding a few caches before sunset. I was enjoying the walk along the river so much I almost walked straight past the cache. Thanks!
It was 4 years and 1 day ago that I logged a DNF on this cache. I do remember that I was knee deep in Catweazling at the time and thought I just needed this last one to complete the circuit. Just before logging I quickly checked to see how many more I need to find and was pleasantly surprised to find I had now found them all. I was also not so pleasantly surprised to find that I haven’t kept any notes from 4 years ago.
I can’t remember what I had for breakfast yesterday so I knew I was no chance of continuing further. It’s a bit like trying to tie a Windsor knot only to find you are a couple of centimetres short, or spilling your last wine of the night to find you are a mouthful shy of a really good time.
At least I had the consolation prize of avenging a DNF. We found the hide today nowhere near where I had been searching last time although I could see it has been moved a couple of times since then. At least it was timely reminder to keep your old stuff even if Mrs Woodyrothwell keeps banging on about throwing out 15 year old pairs of underpants that have holes in them. tftc

With the expectation of NOT finding this cache, I was very surprised to actually find it intact but wet. Thankfully you tethered it.
I have added a dry log and placed it in the only bag I had handy. (Sorry, log placed in a clean dog droppings bag) I placed this in with the wet log but it will serve till you can replace the bag, I guess, or someone else does.

First cache find of 2022.
Having found one of this series yesterday, it made me query just how many more I had to find to be able to solve the location of The Thirteenth Sign. Turns out it was four more in the series, plus the mystery cache. There was a group discussion and it was agreed that we could wrap up the series in an afternoon. After the rainstorm we headed out, dog in tow.
This was the first of the day and after a short walk, the quick search revealed the cache. The clue was noted and the logbook signed. All is good here with this cache.
Back up the hill to the car and on to the next cache.
Thanks very much aandm for the cache and the series. Cheers

That tether certainly is flood proof. And has been tested recently. All good here. Thanks for the cache
I’m on my way to find an oldie off the Jinker Track and I keep getting distracted…
I’m sure there are more than 12 of these caches… and I’ve found a thousand of them…
Good thing I’m getting more organised (read anal) with clues and hints…
Tftc… I didn’t get too dirty before I spotted the container right in front of my face…
Clue noted….

Time for us to take our caching up a gear, we've been a little slack of late.
Finished with our Dayboro target list for today we began our journey back to base but there were still caches to be found along the way!
OOPS!
Didn't get a zodiac sign or codeword.
Quite a pleasant, cool stroll to GZ.
Nice quick find.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
Now for a jog up that path back to the Geo-Beast!
I made it!

Last time i came to look for this cache was over a year ago which i think had gotten lost with he storm or something as there was lots of trees down in the area. The cache had now moved houses and made for a nice easy find for swearah and myself.
Also had to a little work out with the hill we had to walk back up.
thanks for the cache.

Stephyy and I took a side each and she came up with the goods quickly, as usual!
On the way back to the car, I didn’t know which path we came down. Sheesh - I’m glad Stephyy worked it out! I’m so unobservant, I can’t even imagine what I’ll be like in a few years
Thanks for the cache, aandm

Out on Australia Day aiming to catch the Catweazle. Found with NutCacheBNE. Tyftc series.
I was in need of a traditional today - something about a challenge for filling out your calendar with a traditional everyday. Oh the strange things we do.
It was really beautiful. The grass seeds looked like bamboo sprouts, it was still cool, and the only company I had was a visit by two lovely pups and their two owners. I even got a sneaky pat, bliss!
Cache found after resolving a bit of GPS bounce. Signed log and tucked back in where I found it. All good here
TFTC aandm. Unreal that this one has been around for more than a decade!

Great little cache. Not a muggle sighted at all while grabbing this one. I think the winds are keeping them in their dwellings. Tftc
Found this one today whilst out collecting some caches. And a FTF in the replaced and reactivated cache. Find was fairly quick. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.

Lots of organic litter around ... kids found a small pencil and a large marble amongst the scrub but a long search came up with no cache
After searching the high road and coming up with nothing I walked down to the low road. The phone told me to go back and I did with no reward today. Thanks anyway
Brought my first time muffle sister to find this one, located 134m from her house. Thanks for the cache!
Found easily along this lovely park - unfortunately didn't spot that this was a series, so will have to return one day to grab code...

On a wet day sharpem and I decided to find caches that were not far to walk to. We parked nearby and was amazed by how beautiful it is here. When we found the cache we realised that there were clues to collect and a puzzle at the end. I love these and we now have our sights set. We saw that we found number 7 and didnt get the clue. Thanks for taking us to this beautiful spot.
Out collecting some caches with GD kayla today for school holidays.
Lots of great paths in this area, have not explored here before.
Kayla raced ahead and found this one.
Thanks for placing the cache aandm. SIgned and replaced as found.
Find number 452 for us! cheers

A perfect warm Autumn day for a drive around for a few more caches.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly not too difficult hides.
Thanks for the cache aandm,

Saw lots of bush turkeys making their nests. Had a lovely wander down from Cacher's Crossing and Quinns Iguana. I found the cache easily enough. Alas as much as I searched I couldn't locate a clue in the cache.
Found and have left with a little more cover as it very exposed. No clue as noted by previous finders. TFTC
I have had my eye on the Catweazel series since our first encounter with two of them back in January '15. Today seemed like a good day to go caching, despite the somewhat inclement weather. We invited GT64s to join us. All up we found 26 caches while traveling the circuit.
Quick and easy find, but the clue is missing. Hopefully that won't stop us from solving No 13!!
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 9.30am on 10th September 2016. TFTC

We were out caching for the day with Roddy C and made a quick find on the ground ,the clue is missing also , we replaced as best we could were we thought it might be , the CO might like to check this one TFTC
TFTC-found quite quickly once we'd picked the correct path! Last of our highly enjoyable trip to OZ
I had started this series last year, and never got around to finding more.
This is #6 for today, on my quest to notch up 500 finds.
Unfortunately there was no sign or clue in the cache. Hopefully when i find them all, i can work out the missing link.
A nice quiet area in suburbia.
Luckily its Ekka time so the muggle factor is low.
All good with this cache, apart from missing clue.

Parked the car at the end of the cul de sac and walked the 80m to the GZ. Took my time with the walk as there was a muggle skater boy passing. The container was out in the open so I have replaced a little natural fauna on top. TFTC aandm
Out with Stortigirls and Wombles and co. today and this was number 1 on the list. We were walking down the path and Amanda says geez that would be a good place to hide a cache so Wendy checks and says look what I found. hahahahahah we couldnt believe it off to a great start. We signed the log book and realised there was no clue in here. Oh no, what to do??? TFTC we cant wait to do the rest
Out on another Mad Monday.
A quick find after Stortigirls suggested this would be a great place for a cache!
We couldn't find the clue in the cache sadly, but I think I figured out what it is, (hopefully!)
Not many catweazles left now!

Wednesday. Mrs Slow Puncture was out to pick up the remainder of a certain series that we started a long time ago, and also whatever randoms fell in the way in the process! [xx(]
Very nice area indeed for this cache. Cache found quickly and log book signed. The container smelt a little bit musty, but the log book was in good condition.
This was the 1st of 7 caches found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]aandm[/Blue], for showing us this place.

Thought we would do one last one in the pitch black! Why not ! Geodaughter rules this option! But I found the log.
A quick trip out and about on some
September holiday caching. Headed to where we thought we should be and started trekking into the growth being watched from across the creek by a couple of canoodling teenagers. Seems we did as others before us have done and went to the wrong spot, as once we checked the Terrain rating I knew we had gone past where we should be and we backtracked.
Once we had realised our mistake it took us no time at all to find what we were looking for, we signed a slightly damp log and took note of the clue from what is our first in the catweazle series and were on out way. TFTC

While waiting for my app to catch up with my newly renewed membership, this one came up do we decided to head over. The gas threw us out, but the puppy enjoyed a trot through the water. We checked the logs and decided to use a previous finders advice and rely on my geosense. That seemed to do the trick and quickly had the log signed and on our way again tfth
