We spent some time here. If the cache is still therw, it is probably already lost under vegetation...
Would be nice if owner could check/renew this one. Otherwise it is a nice candidate for Archive....

A quick stop after spending a fair bit of time just up the road. Even after rechecking the description and the hint, I was unable to locate this one. It may need checking!
Yesterday we met Zargfinders at "Lets meet at Piccadilly circus" and camped together at the Coree campsite. Today we headed out for a geocaching day but couldn't find this one. We searched any possible spot which matched the hint within 30 metres without finding it.
We bumped and turned our way along Two Sticks until our device told us to stop. It was a glorious spring day and all along the road from Piccadilly to Coree Campground our car count was, well zero! This cache was found by The Split who clambered up for the find, tossed the container down for signing in the company of Cleared For Takeoff and Mrs MajuraHathi. He stayed up, perched at the cache, while the log was signed and the container was tossed back up again, all the while Mrs MajuraHathi was clearing the road of last weeks wind debris from the sides of the road.
Great to be out here and thanks for the happy stop on Two Sticks Road.
Cheers

9th out of 11 for the day with Sol de lune and Wing6Rider. Yep a drive by and I think we decided to just park here and have our lunch under the watchful gaze of Mt Coree.
This cache spot provided a break while we had lunch and enjoyed the peacefulness of the bush setting.
Found with Polar4x4 and Alcan4x4 whilst on a 4WD weekend in the Brindabellas TNLN SL.
Nice easy drive-by, especially when you send Jmanjezza to do the retrieval.

Found a perfect spot to park, then had not trouble finding the cach location.......a little trouble reaching the cach. TFTC
A quick find on the way back down from Mt Coree. A small band of wild piglets wandered past our vehicle as we drove past the cache. Cute now, but soon to be very feral and a nuisance. Took stone, left cork screw. TFTC
Out caching with The Green Geckos and The Emongs today. Mrs Gecko was driving so I got to enjoy the view, TFTC
Out caching with The Doggles and The Emongs. Saw a massive black feral pig off the side of the road. Looks like the car might have won that round. TFTH
Found on a joint cacheing operation with The Doggles and Green Gechoes on a clear sunny autumn day. Thanks for a well placed cache in a wonderful part of this great country. Veiws were unreal. TFTH SL TNLN> Cheers
Heading back down the road and found this one with Hoojar.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache.

You can almost reach out the window and grab this one. Almost. Found whilst heading back down the mountains after a failed canyoning trip nearby. We'll be back for the canyon, and hopefully another cache or two!

I don't understand the comment about 28m error - if this were more than an urban myth, then surely the 28m error would be a common occurrence and cachers would experience that often. Anyway, the hiding place was obvious and we made an easy find, thanks GUIO.
Nabbed by McPhan on great drive about the area along with Winglen. Mrs Winglen putting some good driving skills on show in places. Of course having the right vehicle also helped.
On to nab a few more in the area. Thanks GUIO.

5245. [font=Century Gothic][green]For mine the co-ords were close enough for government work. No issues and a quick find and retrieve. Luckily I could retrieve without resorting to climbing thereby earning my title of the caching tool for my caching [s]hobbits)[/s] mates - Zsazsa7 and Mrs Winglen.

Quick drive by, spotted from the car, coords were spot on, nice views over Canberra. TNLNSL - TFTC
Glorious day to hunt the caches around the mountains...quick find by Ms Bushies2 but Mr Bushies2 climbed up to sign the logbook and we stayed there for our lunch...nice view. Thanks again.
Cache container was obvious from the car as we pulled up so tried to improve the camo. Dropped in a coin.
3525 + 109 = 3634. A run up through the mountains with Sol...
A quick stop for me to dash up and make the find - nice and easy (once you get here!) - Thanks GUIO !!

CazBol and I had this as our first find for the day - completely by accident as we were looking for the start point of Coree Clamber and the GPS had a hissy at just the wrong moment . Never mind, a nice easy one to start and hopefully they'll all be like that all day (but they weren't!!!).

Nice views of Mt Coree as the sun was getting ready to set, never really noticed those big cliffs before.
(8:02 PM) On the way home we caught up again with JmanJezza at Piccadilly circus and ask what were they doing. Maybe a cache down Two Sticks they say. There began the beginning of the evening adventure. Drove down and the youngest of the party got it out but was unimpressed by the swaps. Kids are so hard to please!
Some great views of the setting sun on the west face of My Coree from here. Onward!
Thanks GUIO

I just love the Brindies, and I love Mt Coree the best - its just so huge, but still accessible. The view from here is just fantastic, especially after having sausage sandwiches for lunch! TNLN TFTC.
Our 4598th overall find. This was my 99th find of 137 total finds for our Canberra and surrounds caching spree with FarmerFrentzen
Found at about 5:27 PM. We pulled up down the road from this one a bit in a safe area and wandered over to GZ. It took us all a minute or two to locate the cache. Not where we thought this one would be but an nice entry into the Brindabella NP.
Thanks to growingupisoptional for the cache.

Reperio at 1030. I hadn't planned on coming out this way, but since I was fairly close by, and had the MTB in tow, I thought I'd see how far along I could get the 2WD. Amazingly enough, I was able to drive all the way in, apart from the last 1m Enjoyed the drive.
Gratias.

Grabbed this one today after coming up with a muggle workmate and his new 4WD. Ju spotted the cache but left if for one of my mates kids to 'find' and it was his youngest who spotted it and was very proud of himself. TFTC
I have an Oregon 300 and have had no issues with caches being out whether I've placed them or found them, since just after getting the unit.
I found early on that it would appear to be misdirecting me, and would reboot it and it would be fine, but it seemed to fix itself, either that or I've not had any problems since reading on a forum that on this unit, you MUST recalibrate the compass after EVERY battery change or there can seem to be problems. Not had the problem since, so either it fixed itself, or following that tip has fixed it.

The weather was nice down in Canberra, but up here it was quite wet. I am glad the numbers had been improved, because it still took a but to get the right spot. We decided to call it quits here as I think could have been too slippery to go up to Lonely cache today. Thanks.

** Coordinates Changed From **
S 35° 19.428 E 148° 48.339
Distance From Old: 86.3 feet or 26.3 meters.

Found with MTBO on the way to the Magic cache! Yep the coordinates for this one were 28m out! Glad I read the description, and we didn't head down there! I get 35 19.442, 148 48.336 as GZ! Thanks.
Lovely day for a drive with TankEngine. A lovely part of the world, glad TE had the description, it was not friendly down the hill. Thanks.
Our device said that GZ was actually 18m down the hill, which seemed like a super unlikely place to put the cache.
Found it after using the hint and some keen spotting. The interesting part was the boulders where we parked.
There were some huge quartz vains running through. Perhaps some gold in there??? TFTC

Nice drive with some puddles. I would hate to be searching good 27 meters down the road. With the hint was easy find by geo-kids. TFTC.

The sixth of our tour of Blue Range Road, Two Sticks Road, Mt Franklin Road (until the final locked gate) and back to Yellow Rabbit Road.
I love coming out to this very familiar area.
Ok - it was a lovely drive across from Blue Range Road - except for a couple of gulps as I drove my 2wd van through the black churned-up mainly-frozen mud in a couple of parts.... A lovely forest...

hehehe another **FTF** this time found with Mark Rattigan on an after work (icy, muddy) score. We planned this yesterday hoping for 3 FTF's but that would not be the case. Plenty of Roo's, a live wombat crossing the road, a burnout car and 2 kids asleep in the make - thankyou GUIO's for a fun hunt in the bush. TFTC (now off to try our hands at some magic!)
Well, after I hassled PuddleJumpers when he skipped work to search for an FTF without counting me in, he proposed that this week we hunt down GUIO's remaining unfound caches in the Brindabellas. Finally after work today we had a chance.
We headed up, and as Mark says, **FTF**, while avoiding roos, bunnies, wombats, mud and ice. Rolled my ankle nicely after re-hiding the container.
Left TB. Headed around Mt Coree to try beat someone else to Magic.
Edit: Just today (8th august) I've realised that this was my 500th GC+GCA find.
