Logs
Ah should have read the other logs first. I searched for a good few minutes and even searched the bench.
I love your caches... TFTC. Went for a big cache today found 8 of them! With CrapTaxidermy and 73ponies
Found it. We released a ladybird and earwig which had found their way into the container. Fifth find for us in the sunny Wairarapa.
Sorry for the late log and the copy and paste, headed down to do some caching (while hubby played paintball) knowing the weather was going to be lovely, it was lovely it was really hot, we managed to get a few before heading home again, the sunburn wasn't over the top only forgetting not to put it on late arvo. Thanks for taking the time to place the cache.
Having fun collecting all the caches in the area ..... Didn't take long to find the cache .... Lid is broken and cache full of bugs tftc
#296 another day of caching the wairarapa with zz6000 but at a slower pace today.
#1491. Every once in a while there is a day of madness. Today was that day. To complete an Auckland based challenge cache (GC3QY6Q), I needed to visit 50 caches in a single calendar day. But I couldn't use any power trails. Each cache had to be at least 1 km apart. So I spent several nights planning out a route around the Wairarapa that would allow me to achieve this target plus enough spares to cover for the DNF's. I managed to get around all 50 caches (only needing to use a torch for the last one) and was home by 10pm. Apologies for this generic log. This was cache No.43 of the day. Rushing now to get them done before nightfall. Read the hint and raced over to begin the search. Pretty exposed here. Hopefully neighbours were watching TV news or sports. Soon felt the cache. Signed the dry log and returned as found. TFTC
The reserve was empty when I stopped here today, so an easy grab & sign TFTC
All I can say it oops to this one. Found container quickly but I managed to break the lid. Searched my geo buggy and found some tape and managed to retrieve the situation. TFTC
Tftc hubby is rolling around laughing as the cache top flew off and hit me in the head
Thank you for this wonderful cache. It was a beautiful place in an incredible country.
In Martinborough for the fair and a chance to grab a couple of caches on the way home. Nice quick find in the logical place. TFTC.
Nice quick find here tonight, great time to come out just happen to be round the corner from where we were having dinner tonight.
#1297 Found during a 24 hour caching raid in the Wairarapa with Nic-jay- seeing how many we could find in 24 hours. Nice quick find. TFTC!
Found while on a 24 hour caching adventure with Skaga through parts of the Waiarapa.

Nice find. Before I began geocaching I always wondered why cars stopped at this reserve & saw people walking around with with phones or GPS's when I was visiting relatives across the road.. Thanks Skindo for the find.
log was dripping wet and pretty full so replaced it with write in the rain log, tftc
Wbond1116 and Wbond-Jnr went on another day trip to Wairarapa to try to get 100 caches. It rained most of the day
The great news is that we got 101 !!!
Some of the caches we logged with both our names, however to save your logs we simply placed "Wbond x 2" on many. We trust this is ok.

Managed to wangle most of a weekend in the Wairarapa. Knew it was coming up for a while so had put in a bit of an effort solving some puzzles. Had a great couple of days and wound up with about 300 finds. Hardly scratched the surface really - I'll be back!
Found today with The Wandering Dragons and Astro Hunter. Thanks!
Cache # 600!

Headed down to Wellington for a fly-down-drive-back-caching weekend with mike-miss and Lostcourse - basically a caching binge drive back to Auckland, caching under the moniker "Team F.M.L." We headed out of Wellington as quickly as possible to get some serious caching done in the Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay before heading back to Auckland. Apologies for the copy/paste log, but we found >310 caches in 36 hours and for many it's hard to remember specific details. We headed through a bunch of interesting winding back roads and saw a lot of beautiful sights and historic spots. We shared the driving and stopped for about an hour to catch some shut eye in Pongaroa before continuing, caching all the way. Saturday was my biggest caching day ever, and this Feb, after just the first 36 hours, is already my biggest month ever. TFTC!!!
Took the first flight down to Wellington on Saturday for a fly-down-drive-back-caching weekend with mike-miss and FMZ - basically a caching raid across the North Island.Team FML! for the win! We headed out of Wellington making a beeline for the Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay before venturing back to Auckland. We headed through a bunch of interesting winding back roads and saw a lot of beautiful sights and historic spots that only geocaching could have bought us too. We shared the duties around and took a few micro naps when ever prudent. Saturday was my biggest caching day ever, and this February, is easily my biggest month ever. Cheers for the cache placement!
Headed out on the first flight to Wellington Saturday morning with FMZ and Lostcourse. Relocating a vehicle back to Auckland meant we had a big caching road trip ahead of us...! We headed back through the Wairarapa towards Napier, clocking up the numbers through skindo land. Sorry for the copy/paste log as its now all abit of a blur having cached for 36 hours with only a few short naps in between. Enjoyed the drive through these rough and winding gravel roads and saw alot of interesting sights.
36 hours, 1,200km, & 315 finds made for an epic adventure! Many thanks for the cache and the perfect excuse to make a weekend of it!

Another day caching in Wairarapa after last evening's Carrington Park Finnish Event. Thanks for the cache.
last day of christmas break so decided to head over the hill and have a big geocaching day in the Wairarapa ahead of the Finnish Carrington Park event. Great day of caching around the back roads, and seeing parts of this area we've never been to before.

Quickly found on a great day exploring southern Wairarapa in the sun (mostly), with Tan1aNZ.

Heading from Martinborough to Wellington today. Windy in the Wairarapa, and wet and windy going over the Rimutakas. A quick find. Thanks for the hide.
An unusual reserve, in that it seems to be an unused square section, rather than a remnant of bush. Cache was easily located, on a quiet morning.
Set off with Zissas for a day's caching to take advantage of everyone else being at the Mega. The hunt continues. TFTC.
A MEGA Adventure
Both Nova Lightning and myself had set ourselves caching targets that we were hoping to meet in time for the NZMEGA in a few weeks. So with a plan in progress and fuel in the tank away we set.
Departed home at 6pm Friday, returned home 3.30pm Monday, 7 hours sleep approx 470 caches and a great adventure.
Thanks to all those that have placed caches especially Skindo as I think we gave his caches a bit of a nudge
Thanks for a great weekend of Caching and Bull.

Mega Weekend
It all started about a month ago when Cats&Dragons brought up the idea of heading down the line to collect 350+ caches. We both had targets that we wanted to meet before attending the NZ Mega. Plans and locations were drawn up and puzzles were begun to be solved. It took me a while to get my head around a few of the puzzles and with the help of a cacher I was soon on a roll.
The weekend finally came and we departed Hamilton at 6pm on a Friday night. 3days, 2,000km, & 11hrs sleep, later 472 caches collected. Thanks to all those who's caches I found especially Skindo with a huge number laid.

Find no. 7 in todays aim of 11. Ok its not a lot but after spending all day in presentations in Masterton, need a little light relief on the trip home. Quick find in the showers. TFTC
Out in the Wairarapa with Etherlord on day two of an Attack on Skindo's Translation Puzzles weekend. detoured out this way to collect a few 2:2s. Wasn't going to stop here (more time for what I cam for) but Etherlord had his GPS out and saw it. And since it's right here... Quick find.
cache six on day two of Etherlord and the Seagnoid's almost-100-cache-"Attack on Skindo's Puzzles" weekend in the Wairarapa. #51 for me
Skindo: 40
Others: 11
After finding 2:2 Moreton, my GPSr said the next one was Moreton Reserve.
I was driving back into town and saw the park sign so slammed on the breaks, to which tS said he hadn't been intending on doing this one as our aim was Skindo Puzzles rather than Traditionals.
Hey, since we're stopped...!

Another quick find on the way home. Did with Princess Emily who had this one found in no time. TFTC
This one was easy. I found it really quickly on my way home with Just-Lookin. TFTC
I headed for the wrong hint object at first but then consulted my GPSr and the cache was soon located a little distance away. TFTC
A quick grab along with a welcome rest from biking the local roads in search of caches
Found on trip home from a weekend in Martinborough . Did not know that this was the home of bee hive bacon
