Today we take a cycling Tour around this area and found many Cache. We are from germany All the best from Team diddyhonda
Found quickly thanks to the hint without it I'm not sure I would have. Managed to not get feet wet. Thanks for cache.
TFTC Konie this one has us a bit struggled but eventually found with my mate TFTC
Thank you so much for the fun and taking the time and effort to do this. I eventually found it but I do not have a pen and paper and my feet are very wet. lol and I like the mint container
could find it even with the helpof expert geo tokerau (over video from NZ) ! She had previously found it easy ! Maybe it's gone walkabout ?
Kiddo playing at the Stadium for the football GF. A quick cache during their warm ups. All is good with the hide. TFTC
It was a peaceful quiet Saturday afternoon about 4:30pm when no one was around. Great time to do it and thongs are handy.
Had a really good search around even took our shoes off and went for a wade but no luck. Took a look at the hint and went for another search, it’s either really well hidden or it’s gone walk abouts
Up for the Cycle Sunshine Coast (as spectator), so this is a bit of a bonus. TFTC
Up on Sunshine Coast to fill a few hidden dates, and also any nearby caches, that are begging to be found, this was a fairly quick find, lie down and grab, stayed down to replace as found, Thanks Konie, all is in good condition here today
Okay, so the day started at 6am so that we could catch a few caches to help the geo-dad (Cliff5009) fill in a few holes in his Hidden Dates chart.
A bit of a drive up Bruce Highway early on a spring morning, during the school holidays, so traffic was not too bad.
So this was cache 2 for the day.
I have been here with the rest of the FNG team a few times, with no luck. However, with the Geo dad having eagle yes - even as a 74 year old - he spotted this way before I did.
Okay, whilst we have found it, it is still not an easy one to retrieve.
Finally, have it in hand, have a squiggle in the lo book and can return it to where it came from and make sure it is ready for the next person.
Thank you very much for placing this cache.
Quite a challenge!!

A plan was set for today to try to complete as many of the sunshine coast caches as possible with a target of 140 (my target). Todays little group was Willis007, Esmiley, newcomer Duppers and myself. We meet at the arranged meeting point; we worked out where we were going and had a plan for the day. It was a little slow start but once all the formalities were done it was all systems go. The day was a lot of fun, with laughs, the usual banter and some nice walks. The plan changed a little as we went, we got a third of our targets, which I was happy with, as it was a big ask considering the caches were doing. We had a few DNF’s which took up a lot of time, a couple of multis that had us stuck for a checker tick. We were lucky to have Esmiley along who had completed a few of the caches and gave us some insight.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches and some fun hides and to my caching buddies for the day. We signed all logs and replaced containers as we found them.
A nice little series of caches, and a couple of tuff but good thinking hides. We did not get our feet wet today.
All good with this cache and now it is onto the next one.

Need to keep the geokids busy on hols, so what better to do than bring them along to a whole batch of caches that are embarrassingly close to where we live, and which, frankly, I should have turned yellow a couple of years ago. I've cycled past this one a zillion times without having a look but quickly made amends today. Yes, got my feet wet and later realised I probably didn't need too, but it's a nice day for a wade in any case. Thanks for the cache, Konie!
A Friday afternoon trip to the Sunshine Coast with Mr CuriousQuest to find a few caches. Next, we made our way to this cache. We searched and searched, without getting our feet wet. No luck. My caching buddy tried another option, keeping his feet dry. He spotted something, but was unable to twist the right way to grab it. Nothing for it, but to ignore the CO's advice and get my feet wet. I made the grab and signed the log. Everything was returned as found, then we continued on our way. TFTC
Out on a Friday afternoon with Selva Girls. Up on the Sunshine Coast grabbing a few caches . This was a nice quick find nice clue ; log signed and cache returned as found. TFTC

Just call me spaghetti arms. Managed to grab it from the deck. Not an east reach for a short armed man. Lovely spot. Magpies and butcher birds are waiting for a feed. Someone must come here regularly to commune with these lovely birds. TFTC
This was a fun find, although I made itmuch harder than it needed to be. Was nice to get my feet wet.
1MM got her feet wet for this one. It was quite warm here today so wet feet weren't a bad thing. Her feet got wetter during the day anyway!
18/12/20 Find #4438
This was the second cache for wombles and co and me today, on our non-wacky Wednesday on the coast. Arriving here we wondered where to begin our search. While wombles searched one zone, I headed over to check another area from up top with zero success, and wondered how people could do it with their supposed “spaghetti arms”. That certainly didn’t seem likely to work for me, so it was time for a different approach. I took my shoes off and enjoyed the lovely water - and a couple of toadfish, and finally managed to make the find.
Thanks for the cache Konie.

Tuesday. After Mr OC and myself parted ways after collecting some kayaking caches, I had picked out this cache to collect on the way home. It looked like it was in a good location and broke up the ride home. Yes! I definitely got my feet wet finding this cache. In fact, in preparation, I took my shoes off and went in. Well, I was already smelly with mud and had been wet for most of the day, so a bit of clean water was not a bad thing. I checked all the corners and yep, it was in the last place I looked! In fact, I was just making a PAF to the CO when I spotted the cache Typical! Very pretty area here and I even helped myself to some of the lovely nasturtiums from the nearby Edible Garden that were hanging outside the fenceline
This was the 20th of 20 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***Konie*** for showing us this place

Happy to report no feet were wet in the signing and replacing of this hide! Thankful for Hubbys long and flexible arms.
Found and extracted from tight spot without too much trouble (long skinny arms are helpful), but sadly cache was full of water and bag appears not to have been shut too well or else must be damaged. Paper was wet but usable. I did my best to dry things but it may stay soggy for a while.
Beautiful spot here so TFTC.

It was warm enough to get wet feet today so I went for a paddle and located the cache in its hidey place. TFTC
Out and about with Mrs JAT - I can't believe it has been 12 months since we have been caching together. Today we started out in the wilds of Caloundra West - there are so many interesting caches in the area.
I wasn't feeling very positive when I started to look for this one. I searched and searched. Mrs JAT had found this one a loooooooong time ago, but I was very relieved to spy the sneaky devil hiding away. I was terrified of dropping it into the drink, so I asked Mrs JAT if she could do the honours (her arms and body are longer than my vertically challenged stature). TFTC Konie, I enjoyed finding this one

This one was quickly spotted but it took nature and a two person job to extract it.
Despite the last finder returning it as he found it so that the next finder had to get their feet wet too we managed it without having to do that. Mind you it probably would be easier to get that way if you were on your own.
Thanks.

Another stop on me random tour of the Sunny Coast today
And out here at the 500 mark the muggles were few and far between
Good thing too !!
'Cos once I spied the cache,
which was really easy
I had to try and grab it !! [:o]
Well there was no way that was going to happen without getting me feet wet
So off I went,
in at the deep end
Easy find and grab,
but not without taking off the boots and socks
Thanks a lot !! [^]
Well I'll give this cache a fave point for the foot bath [^]
And I made damn sure that I put the cache back,
just as hard to reach as I found it

Always happy to visit Lake Kawana - many happy and precious memories based here. Cache was retrieved for me by geokid who was happy to get wet feet until she tested the water temp!
Sadly cache was full of grotty water and the log was so drenched we couldn’t sign. Didn’t have a spare with us to replace. Maintenance by CO suggested.

Had to turn this green face into a nice bright yellow smiley before returning to the UK as it was upsetting my nice line of Smilies. Great cache and location.
Found it. Very tightly wedged had to use the pen to push it through to waiting little geo son who’s feet got wet.
Yay found it! Searched for a little while then got the minicacher to get her feet wet All good, TFTC!
I did try not to .... but I had to. Must have been stormy weather here , I dried the cache out and so now its all set again for the next finder.TFTC
Wow! Lookedmany times before, yet as usual, smallwombat has radar for caches. Walked straight up to a corner and in around 1 min I hear ...gottcha. glad to turn my blue face into a yellow onetho. Tfc
Having been here twice in the past with no luck, the second time getting aaaall wet under and dirty, i had apprehensions as sunshine58 and i rolled upto gz on the geocycles this afternoon.
Imagine my surprise when i had my hands on it in seconds then, this time! Phew. If only this happened more often.. hopefully we have this much luck at the nemesis wall bison next on our agenda.
Thanks konie for another well placed cache!

After a hard training session with the geo-pup trying to train her out to sniff out the hides, she was rewarded with putting the skills to test..
Unfortunately she still has a ways to go... as I had to do all the searching...
Quick find.. so quite and peaceful on non event days!

This took much longer than it should have, and yes geohubby had to get wet: first to retrieve the cache and the second time to chase the baggie that flew out of my hand in the wind and sailed off across the lake. Baggie replaced with a clean dry one and geohubby's shorts dried out eventually as we continued our walk around the lake.
Nice one. After much looking decided that it was easier to get my feet wet. Only muggle was a guy with a container full of dragon boats and nowhere that he could get it near the water to unload. A favoutite for the series.
With a family visit planned nearby headed up a bit earlier in order to collect a few caches. This was the second cache collected on this extremely warm day.
At GZ sighted the hide and took the dry approach to collect. Just as I touched the container it dropped into the drink and started to float away. Jumping into the water and scooped out the container. As a previous finder mentioned the top was rusted on. Opening the container found a damp log with mold. Dried the log before signing and replacing. The invisible force is no longer holding the container so replaced as found. Thanks for maintaining this cache Konie.

I've been here before and left empty handed, but today I decided to ignore the suggested method for caching, and went straight to the water (carefully, it didn't look too inviting). Quickly the cache was found, unfortunately it ended up in the drink for a split second. Fortunately, the lid had rusted itself shut! The logbook was dry and was signed quickly. I should mention that the device which keeps the cache in its place has worn a bit, and I was extra careful to make sure it didn't shift position when I returned it to its spot.
Found it, not a person in sight, unfortunately it fell but was retrieved quickly, log was all good with plenty of room. Tftc co. :^)
Easy find due to clue but not so easy to retrieve - could easily fall into the water!
A quick cache find on a windy morning, before going to the airport.
Good bye warm weather and sunny days, back to Victoria I go.
Having a bit of time off work, What better then to find a few caches
Thank you for the hide Konie
