Out for a day of Caching and 4WD'ing on this lovely sunny Melbourne winters day. This was the second of 8 finds for the day and another quick easy find. Not sure why it is called the corner store, but it was a very novel and well constructed waterproof cache. TFTC TNLN.
Heading home from Diamond Creek after the weekend so took the opportunity to grab a few caches on this lovely day. A nice hide was made.
Thanks rubus for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Very very cute cache! Had a great day looking around the area, and it was so close to home!
A day off of fruit picking in the neighbourhood, so we did a little geocache tour. Nice caches
This was day 40 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania.
We decided today to pick up just a couple of caches here and there to fill in some more of the local council areas where we have not cached in Victoria yet.
We parked nearby and walked across towards GZ and soon found this cache as it was in the obvious place. We did also enjoy the choice of name for this cache. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced as found. Thank you for bringing us to this area and placing this cache for us and others to find.

With today been the last day off from work until xmas day I have, I was on a quest to hit 1000 before the end of the year. So Happy Pants and I hit the road for a day of caching.
Great to see the grass here nice and short. Always great to see a cache of this size.

Was on a bit of a caching run with a couple of other members of U3A Seymour. We haven't been out for a few months (the call of the north was too strong for many of us). It was good to be out caching as a group again.
I like this type of corner store - no money needed.

We pulled up a short stroll from gz and as we approached the hide was obvious. Very Clever, we love it. We like the look of the house just over the road too. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Stopped by the corner store for a malted milk shake and some choc buds, grabbed a cache whilst in the store also, dang European wasps lurking around., beware! Thanks Rubus for building your store here
Found on our afternoon of caching with Trio of fun. Junior lowmount found his first travel bug a little excited
Out with the family today hunting for treasure. Parked really close by and the missus calls out "it's in the log". I have to say that most of the time she is right, but after signing the log and returning to the car it was a pleasure to tell her that she was wrong
Thanks rubus for the cache.
Thanks rubus for the cache.

That was cute! Surprised it didnt get taken over by a clever bunny or so lol. We stayed a bit longer since we heard a couple cows go mad. Looks like mr. bull got a bit upset and chased one of the cows down the creek. We stayed until everything got sorted though Really liked the place acros the road that was for sale...almost looked like an old school. Took the girl toy with car skates???....left a tiny creepy...something! Thanks for the cache!
Another good hide today, thanks again rubus for the cache. I like the variety so far.
Out for the day on a mini caching run with the intention of getting a couple of letterbox caches on the Kinglake area and gathering a couple of other interesting caches along the way.
What a magic place for a corner store. Quick find in a truly beautiful place. Just needs a seat to sit back and enjoy the serenity.
Thanks for placing this cache rubus

Another hide that made us go "awww". Found today with Buckleysbabe and Jacko83. Thanks for the detail, another favourite point coming your way!
Not quite sure what we'd find when we approached this cache, but we were all suitably impressed with our seventh hide of the day. Very clever! Another favourite!
Thanks rubus !
Thanks rubus !
Doesn't get a lot of business these days.
That's since it left the big city that it was part of and set itself up here.
I know because the bananas had seen pictures of the big town.
But the corner store is now in a beautiful spot deserving of this great treasure.
Well done rubus.

This one was next on my run this afternoon. This was a straightforward hunt with the cache found quickly, not much for sale today though but certainly a lovely spot with the creek having a good flow at the moment. Thanks to rubus for another interesting hide.
Found on a rather wild windy day with My caching mate Trailrunning, we were on the hunt for a couple of objects we needed to night and ended up just following the caches north before we finally headed back the other way. we found several caches tonight on our adventures. Thanks rubus for the cache.
On a wet and very very windy night, I was out and about collecting caches with my good caching buddy Rebel Acts. While we had planned a route through Melbourne, our chase of two elusive trackables meant than we changed our plans half way through the run. A good number of caches were picked up, and this was one of them. The obvious spot was searched and cache signed. Thanks for this cache.
It was a nice sunny morning so I thought I would head north and go look for the three remaining Rubus caches I still had to find. This was the first target and while it was easy enough to ID GZ, despite what it says in the description, I couldn't find anywhere to drive "off the road" to park. In the end I parked about 300 metres up the road and walked...as i said it was a sunny morning.
When I made it back to GZ, I quickly found the Corner Store and the cache inside.
Thanks Rubus for the cache, another imaginative as I have come to expect...

Couldn't buy a coke at this store! Came here with !Go! after the Whittlesea Market. Nice area, I enjoyed the drive out here, thanks for the cache and the beautiful location. I loved the running stream below.
What a beautiful little spot to see after the Monday market.. Great little store! Poor kids said they were hungry as well!!
This was cache no 12 on a day that started out pretty ordinary but ended up nicely and my fourth Rubus cache for the day.
This one had me searching as the GPSr wanted me to go for a swim. In the end though, the cache was found easliy and it's another great Rubus cache.
Cache is in excellent condition. TNLNSL Thank you Rubus for another great cache.

On the tail end of a lovely caching drive in the hills, I stopped the car just past where the GPSr pointed and trudged through the long grass following the arrow to a spot that made no sense. Then I thought about the name of the cache, and adjusted accordingly. Aha!
The second cache today that made me chuckle... loving your work, rubus.

The corner store was a bit barren today but we can imagine at certain times of the year it would be overflowing with produce. TFTC

Today was another epic cache run with best mate ahomburg thru an area of Melbourne I have not visited until today. This was one of 32 found and we also had a few DNFs.
The name for this one had me curious during the approach and once at GZ the impressive hide had me smiling , nice work. A favorite for me. TFTC rubus

Find # 1767
After a late night at the WWFM IX event in the city and just three hours sleep, I was picked up by my caching partner in crime, sedgwickDave and we headed in a northerly direction towards Whittlesea and a massive day of caching.
Another cache close to the road and also such a clever cache with great thought going into construction of the surrounds, at first did not realise it was the cache, then it dawned on me.... Aha
Thanks again to rubus for the cache. TNLN.

Find #300 and a sweet little find. Great work on the cache home rubus. I was so impressed that i did not even mind the fact i needed to get past some blackberry thorns to access it. TFTC.
TFTC, was a little hesitant to go thru the long grass, but did, then the geokiddies said come this way dad... doh! nice easy find, and a very created cache, thanks for bringing us here rubus
Caching with Team HB. No one at the store, which we spotted meters away Cheers!

With the GPS having a mind of it's own today, it took a little while to track down GZ. I saw the remnants of the wombat mentioned by landau351 [xx(] … not much left now though. Finally the satellites decided to play along and a very nice cache was soon found . Well done rubus … love to see some effort put in to a hide. TFTC
"Oooooooooh!" the daughter squealed when we were closing in on GZ. "I can see the cache, I can see the cache..... and it has a HOME!"
Took: Purple car. Left: Marbles.
Thanks rubus, it made our day.
