Looks like it may've been snaffled by a muggle. Will try to get it back up and running soon.
Our first DNF for the day. Suspect we saw where it used to be as film canister sized holder there but couldn't find the cache. As there have been a few DNF's in a row may need to check and see if it is still there.
unlucky with that one at least we found the little book shop for a muggle distraction
Quite keen to "cache da train", but points failure occurred today. Looked high and low, but didn't find cache.
Nice Hiding Spot. Was Able To Watch One Of The Old School Trains Being Manoeuvred Around The Yard. Found Last Weekend As One Of Our Last Of The Day After Doing QE Park. TFTC
Some maintenance was being carried out here today. Luckily, GZ was out of view of the workers and I was able to quickly complete my mission.
When I first came to Wgtn the train only went to Paekak. I remember coming up here on train to the end of the line (I was carless) and walking to the beach.
Had to wait till train went thru as couldnt retreive cache while they were on the platform. Easy find. TFTC

Busy station - 3 trains came through just in the short time we were there. Cache find was straightforward - good container. TFTC
Pleased to be looking for this one on a sunday morning. Not many people about and they were mostly on the other side. Clever hide. Thanks.

Nice hide, we had fun doing this with a couple of muggle friends who are very intrigued! Tftc
Great little hide but as it was late at night there was no one around and we were free to search TFTC.
Did a stopover for this one on my way north, had to do this one because I had some rail themed trackables with me but unfortunately forgot the camera, and anyway was too early for the museum to be open. Other trackables came for the ride too (literally as I came and went by train.)
Not too long to find the cache once the GPS (sort of) settled down, had suspected where the hide would be anyway- aren't we fortunate we can still do something like this in our country without getting into trouble!
I think I must have signed the wrong page as the last log I saw was October, was surprised it didn't appear to have been found for a while but seems it has been found several times quite recently.

Nice camo and hide .. had great pizza for tea about 200m away from cache so looked for this while we waited tftc
We arrived just after a train had departed, so it was deserted on the platform. We were happy to search under a verandah as it was drizzling at the time.
Soon tracked down the cache - but took a wee while to replace "just right". Nice wee hide.

Called by on the way home. No one around so found no problem. Good idea for a container. TFTC
Our only find for the day as the battery on the GPS died. But the sun was shining and we at least got this one - which was a clever hide. TFTC
No chance of caching the train today as they weren't running, so I just had to cache.

No trainspotters or passengers due to bus replacement made for a quick find. TFTC
You got it right in one, joandra - Big Fuzzy is BOTH a self confessed train spotter and an addicted cacher so he was in his element here! (no trains though ) TFTC
No I didn't wanna cache da train but I did wanna find da cache...& I did! Thanks
Plenty of catching the train muggles about. No problem finding the cache un-noticed though! TFTC
Final find for the day - great strike rate 8/8! Loved this cache. Got home to log it and realised that this is my 50th cache! Thanks Papakowhai6 for a great afternoon by the seaside. Sad that the local dairy didn't have cone ice creams...
nice cache and no muggles on (yet another) day when buses were replacing trains. congrats to bookalele on finding her 50th cache
Quick find before lunch. will have to come and take a look once the museum is open. Tftc
Very quiet here today for some reason... popped by on our way to QE park for the afternoon. A quick find by Mr. Paua Ranger. Merry Christmas and TFTC!
Muggle free here today. No trains, it's a weekend of buses instead.
Made the find, signed the log and rehidden safely as found. All in order here.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Spotted straight away. Great hide, and relocated before some local muggles arrived. TFTC
I love these old buildings, great to see there's a museum here which we'll have to come back to some weekend. TFTC
Gr8 to see some old stations surviving, walk down memory lane. Station deserted. No trains in sight!! No passenger to get in our way. Gr8 hid. Easy found as didn't have to use stealth. TFTC Awesome book shop if you are into NZ history.
1 of 5 for the day after softball at Onepoto Park with the kids and on the drive home. have a train tb, no room to leave but took photos on visit TFTC
Had to wait for a train to arrive and leave, before I could do my caching business TFTC
Thanks to last cacher for the heads up. Need to do abit of glueing. Will replace it soon...
No-one at GZ today when I visited, so it was easy to find the cache. Only problem is that I don't think the container is in it's original condition as we found some obvious parts to it on the ground and not sure how it fits together. SL TFTC
An empty platform made for an easy find this afternoon. Buses had replaced the trains so we had the whole place to ourselves. TFTC. (Found with Kiwileo)
I was the only mug walking around in the rain. Made for an easy retrevial.
Train crash just up the line due to a slip caused by the heavy rain.

Why not catch the train at least no-one else was waiting so that made retrieval easier...
Nice quick find after walk around the wrong side. No one around so quick retrieval. TFTC
A lovely old station and nicely painted up too. No-one about ,and a quick find.

Last stop on the way back to Wellington. Didn't have too long to wait at the station before catching sight of the cache and a northbound freight train.
Good hide - took me a while inbetween one train coming and another going and the GPS pointing here , there and everywhere. TFTC #1534
Trains not catchable again today so waited in vain at railside so signing a cache log seemed the only sensible thing to do. T4TCSL
Miserable weather has stopped us stopping at this one for some time but lack of train service today made catching the cache a breeze. TFTCSL
#58 - Whew! Didn't think we'd find it when our GPS started jumping around! At one point it told us we were standing in the middle of SH1. However, a second pass around the station revealed what we were looking for . SL TFTC!
#1501. Found the station car park, but no passengers on the platform. It's "train replacement" buses today. So no muggles, and everything at the station was closed. A freight train came through though. TNLNSL. TFTC.
