Thanks for my first find! The box and pen has been a bit destroyed from back burning unfortunately
Found it after backburns heaps of ash and the box is burned. Make sure not to wear black because of all the ash
Got lost for a second then saw it while going up the hill nice hide just the log book very soggy and mouldy
First time and first find geocaching. Sometimes my gps was mucking up but kept looking near rocks, looked under a couple then lo and behold i saw the plastic container under the rock. Yay!

After the event to help SBMT celebrate 10 years of Geocaching I headed east along Henry Lawson Drive and up to this one. I parked in Fewtrell Avenue and followed the track from the cul de sac into The River Reserve and onto the Guwark Fire Trail. It wasn't far from there that the GPS was pointing off the track.
Just as I was about to head bushwards a muggle couple appeared so I pretended to be inspecting the sandstone cutting near me.
Once they were gone I began my bush scramble noting many spots that matched the hint. The co-ordinates were excellent and at 1m I was standing beside something that matched the hint. On inspecting it the cache appeared.
The logbook is damp but definitely signable.
Glad I came here today.
Mosquitoes and I have a certain relationship - they love me but the affection is not reciprocal.
None today!!

Had washed out of hiding location. Cache still sealed and log in a clipseal bag but log wet. Pen worked, some treasure Suggest new logbook as it can never dry out in sealed containers.
After a quick run around the park we found your cache and were shocked it had been there for 12 years!
Located at 5:00pm. #1213.
Full log to follow.
Спасибо большое! Baruch Hashem! TFTC! Much obliged for the placement Rainbow Spirit!

Returned to the Padstow Heights and Revesby Heights areas again today, following on from my squid pole shopping trip to Haverford at Revesby yesterday, this time picking up some of the caches that I had missed on yesterday's visit. Also grabbed some caches around Mortdale and Oatley as I navigated my way to work for an afternoon shift. This was the 3rd of 7 finds for today.
I had originally planned to approach this one from the River Road side, but the car GPSr sent me around to Fewtrell Avenue on the other side. Decided to stick with that approach and entered via the Guwark Fire Trail at the end of Fewtrell Avenue.
Started off walking down the fire trail, then off-trail down through the light scrub to GZ, where the cache container was a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Rainbow Spirit.

Out doing some errands for my wife, when i wondered if there were caches in the area. There was. A nice find. I'll have to come back and revoke the area more another time. Tftc
Nice easy find in a bit of bush I had never visited despite being at Bill Delauney many times before. TFTC! Picked up the bug (my first), excited for it to do some caches with me before being left elsewhere.
Yeay! We found this one The tip was very helpful. Nice location and easy to spot. Made our day!
Spotted cache before ascending it was sitting in open . Signed log and put under cover and camouflaged. TFTC
Easy but hard at the same time. Congrats to my nephew as this was his first find and he actually spotted it before I did!
Found it in the bush it did take a long time but in the end it was not a waste of time it was actually fun and a bit scary as we had to do it in the rain and thunderstorm
No bush bashing required this morning, the area is currently under going a clean up ie tree chopping and scrub clearing. A quick find with the good coords and hint.

Thanks for the cache. It was our first find. The kids are now geocaching fans. Good fun.
Found under some rocks. Transparent lunchbox. Wrote names in a Pink Notebook. Left Pen inside box.
Dan scrambled up and along to GZ and after a lengthy search found nothing. Dejected, he started to trudge down to the track which he had missed earlier. Then all of a sudden there was the cache sitting out in the open in the middle of the track. Contents were all okay. His etrex said it was 17m out. He presumed that it had been moved by a muggle. The cache was placed up the hill where the etrex said that it should go. I hope that it was not lying. In a nice crevice under a boulder. Hope that this is okay. TFTC Rainbow Spirit
We parked in a nearby street so was already coming at it from a different direction. A little wandering, some bush bashing and spider-web dancing and we were in the vicinity. Took us a little longer than usual to find the cache and seemed to be a few m away from the posted coords. We’ll blame the trees for that!
Found with SebofSydney. A nice a walk through the bush on this steaming hot day. I made a quick find while the gps was settling on our location.Tftc!
Nice easy hide to find after the required bush bash.
A very blustery afternoon with a little bit of necessary showering from the 'heavens'.

We found our first cache. It was a bit of a bush bash and LOTS of mozzies. Kids loved it but didn’t love the spiderwebs! Can’t access from Boomerang Reserve (Henry Lawson Drive). Best to park at Bill Delaney Reserve, River Road and follow the compass from there.
After a DNF on a nearby cache i decided to come across and grab this one.
There must have been a party on the street where we parked because the place was chock full with cars and we had to fit in a spot a bit back from the trailhead.
Down the path i headed off the track towards the GZ through a load of spiders webs. While it may have been the most direct route I must have taken the path with the thickest bush.
At the GZ i was able to spot the cache after a couple of minutes search.
Thanks.

#2505 pulled over at the locked gate then followed the GPSr to where it took me and that was lots of spiders webs so on the trip to the cache I walked into most, brushed a few & sent the spiders scurrying & missed hardly but didn't miss the main goal. I could see it from 10 metres away
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Rainbow Spirit

Woooeee. Those blood suckers are out today! And I’m not talking about politicians. Found the cache after murdering several dozen of the overly friendly locals. TFTC.
The female members of MMH&M and I walked (read: bush bashed) from Kong to meet the males at this one, who had found it as we arrived. Yay! The mozzies also found it, and us...
Was just going to complain about the mozzies when I saw the cache name. Very true. It is a bit of a scramble up the hill and took a bit longer than it should but there it was. The hint helped.
Thanks Rainbow Spirit for another daily cache.
