Don't believe this cache is here anymore. Came with two previous finders, all had a good search but found no cache.
Log needs replacing. Moist pulp ball in bottom of bag. Cache was open and very visible. Tucked back away
Another beaut day, putting in some miles, finding some more caches. What more could you want? Jeebers. Took the 2 legged route up the goat track. Had to have a result at the end of it all. Glad to find it quick time, but log saturated and unusable. Here's a pic to prove it! Cheers

Found on a dog walk.
Parked up on Nayland Street and then took the Zig Zag all the way up to Clifton Terrace, and then up, up, up, reaching the connector track to Richmond Hill and this cache.
Awesome nightly views, I've always ben fascinated by the sight of these hills in the dark, covered with hundreds of wee lights from the dwelling windows.
Cache was an easy find. The logbook really needs sorting out - it's just a mess of broken up pieces of paper.
Kia ora! Paldies!

A quick find on a beautiful sunny afternoon with splendid views. The log book is rather damp. As the plastic bag was ripped we replaced it, so hopefully it will keep further moisture out. TFTC!
Going through my phone to delete pictures and found a bunch of caches I haven't yet registered. Apologies for the delay.
Easy wee find in a beautiful location. What a view to wake up to. Thanks for taking the time to place the cache.

A fairly quick find on a lovely afternoon and so many new houses in the area.
A lot of new houses up here. Cold this morning but sunny. Quick find at GZ. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2176
Geocaching - taking you to places you would normally never go. Thanks for bringing us here. Bunny and Lion
Found with Dracophyllum. Great view. Had to be careful, lots of workmen around!!! TFTC
The way was long and wet and at the Cache were workers. But I tried my best and searched everythere ... and couldn't find it.
But the Cache was really easy and after more than 5 minutes I found it finally.

Early start to the day with daughter on a geocaching mission day! We spent most of the daylight hours out and about, and covered quite a bit of ground in the day. We signed the logs Team Polak for brevity and to save paper, even though some of the caches one of us has found before. Great day to be out, even though it started chilly and finished likewise. TFTC!!

I took a day off annual leave from motherhood, and left the baby with hubby. - And meanwhile, mum & I went out geocaching!! My goal is to have under 500 geocaches within 80km by the time I go back to work - and that's really close, so gotta get about 150 more finds within 4 weeks! Eeek!
So we headed off towards the port hills/lyttelton, and then also picked up a trade me purchase in Burnham!
Ended up with 30 odd finds - not quite as many as planned, but I am starting to have bigger gaps between caches!!
Quick one

With the forecast for fine sunny weather, StreetWalker and I decided to tackle a few more caches on Godley Head. It's been a while since we have been to the head of the heads, so to speak, so this is the first time since the earthquakes changed the landscape.
We had hoped to find 10 caches, but my legs refused to carry me any further so we had to find some drive bys on the way home.
A few changes here since our last drive up Richmond Hill, pleased that SW is driving not me! Missed the access path to GZ and found ourselves on a steep private lane, where it soon became apparent where the path was so backtracked. Interesting to see all the boxes being built here, great views but not my cup of tea. Quick find with the hint, which we appreciated! TFTC.

#14108. It's been a while since we've been up here; interesting to see how things have developed. We enjoyed the short walk through the series of dams. TFTC.
I wanted to find 2 or more geocaches for a calendar challenge that I have set myself. Luckily I had no work and the rain had held off.
I enjoyed walking to this one. The track was a little muddy but the view was wonderful.

Left the car at the beachfront and walked up the hill. That gave me a good workout! This wouldn't be my first choice for a place to live but I can see why people want to be here for the amazing view.
The cache was a quick find. TFTC.

Lovely views around here. I thought I might be a bit conspicuous as there were a lot of builders working up the hill but all was quiet when I arrived at GZ. TFTC!
Nice easy find on a lovely day out caching the area. Views to sigh for here! TFTC.
Day 2 of caching action in Christchurch.
Enjoyed our visit here. Quite the view, and lots of residential construction work in progress.
Straightforward find. Cache in order; log signed, then safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Walked from the other side nice easy track. Harder to find than it should've been as my gps wasn't working. Dropped of a TB
Neat spot after a good wee walk up the hill. Incorporated 3 caches into a nicewee loop
Well I must say that it certainly is a Dammed Good Spot, ah now I get it. Crazy drive up to GZ. I drove so close to the left passing a car coming the other way that my wing mirror flipped in. Damm that was close. Quick find at GZ and had to do a thirty point turn and use the low gears to get out from my parking spot. Great view. I could see Kaikoura.
Thanks for the cache.

Never knew this track existed but so glad I found it. Windy but stunning view. Thank you!
A nice quick find down a little used path with stephaniejuliafong. Nice to find one no one has been to in a few months.
Found it with the hint. Great views up here, some nice houses starting to go up. TFTC
Dammed Good Spot (Canterbury) was transferred from TikvaNZ to user moosebreeder1
Even the last find is some time ago, we found it quick and enjoyed the nice view.

Easy find on our walk from Summit Road down to Sumner. Lots of lambs out playing on the hillsides. TNLN. TFTC.
I'm inclined to agree with Drawp, what a fantastic spot. Plenty of sections for sale in yhe area, too. You coukd wake up to that view every day if you're solvent enough to build up here A stunning day to be on the hills, TFTC
An appropriately named cache. Amazing views from up here today, very sobering to see the condition of the home on the way up to GZ. TFTC
It was interesting driving up the road to this cache to see the damage wrought by the earthquakes to those houses at the lower part of the road. The newer homes near the top didn't exhibit quite so much damage. I was a little surprised that the new subdivision did not have any homes being built on it. I guess the reason is probably lack of insurance cover available, or maybe no body wants a hill top home these days..
Second find for the day; it'll be interesting to see how this developing residential zone develops. The water catchment areas installed here will look nice when actually filled with water. Located the cache while the nearest neighbours listened to the Pogues and had a beer as we rummaged about. Thanks.
Sensational view from the hilltop. Sobering drive up past the quake damaged properties though. TFTC
This might be a damned good view, but those who have chosen to built here (in my opinion) need to see a damned good pyschologist - and there are several active construction sites within stones throw of GZ!
After a few good jolts this afternoon, kiwicampnut and I headed from Cave Rock to get a few up the hills out of the way (so to speak) while access is still good.
A quick find with help of the clues (with those construction workers nearby we didn't want to linger too long). The cache contents were sodden, so have removed those and once dried out will place in another cache somewhere. Surprisingly the logbook was still dry, so wiped out the bag to be sure before replacing it in the container and tucking it away again.
Thanks

Out with RuruNZ again today. Two quakes to helped decide to some extent that the hills should be done before access to some of these is no longer viable. Knowing this area from my early GirlGuiding days this and Clifton Hill are vunerable to the non access by vehicles so with RuruNZ driving (told she hates hill driving - whoops), we set off up here after the Cave Rock earthcache. (Where we felt the second quake strike). With a suitable parking spot - sort of - we headed down the hill to the cache site carefully as signs of previous quakes lie beneath the grass as I found out almost doing my ankle a mischief. RuruNZ had the cache in hand, we dried as best we could and replaced, removing the wet objects. The contractors working on nearby houses had carried on without us drawing attention to what we were doing and then we were on our way. Well done RuruNZ for your hill starts and turning.

Interesting drive up here seeing many munted houses. Sad sight. But certainly the cache is in a damn good spot! TFTC.
Quick find was appreciated as i feared some flora at GZ. Rocking view.
Thank you for placing this cache.

Stir crazy wee dudes...not the flashest of weather but we headed out for a walk in the hills anyway. Parked up beside the pines beside Panaramic Revelation and followed the track around the valley/gully tp this cache. A great wee spot. Quick find by the wee dude. These features would be cool with water running through them! Stopped so the wee dudes could have some afternoon tea before heading back up to the car. Mrs G had 'itchy feet' so sent her on a mission further up the hill to Karen's Lookout .....Thanks for the wander.
A long detour home after a meeting in town for my daily caching fix. Approached from above in deteriorating weather. Cache easily foumd. TFTC.
Looked over here from Panoramic Revelation and thought wow thats really close as the crow flies but actually getting there - much further - by car anyway. Same deal as that one - looked at these two a while ago and thought I would skip them for a while - all good today! Wicked view! Dropped TB TFTC (379)
An awesome view from up here.
Quite a lot of earthquake damaged houses on the way up to the cache. TFTC.
