I should know not to look for a micro in the bushes. You can see where others have been. I tramped things down a little more, looking for it. - mumzy
Dam good hide, found just after we were giving up On the mega hunt with wethreefourdices, Castlewood_Crew and CacheManChris. TFTC
In Dunedin from Whangarei with flowernz for the MEGA having a great time finding some of the south caches. Really enjoying the locations the caches are taking us to. Doing a trip out to Aromoana today with Riser5 as well. Caching along the way of course. Took a bit of a hunt this one but finally found. TFTC
Today tikitour and I have teamed up with Riser5 - another Whangarei cacher - and with 'youth' on his side he makes so many of our finds look easy...
This was quite a tricky find - so satisfied when 'found' was made...

It seems the other cachers that were before us made a bit of a mess of the place. Found after a short while searching.
sonia26642 found this one - a bit tricky getting back out onto the road from here - TFTC!!!
We almost missed the cache here!! A very very tough find, as there were just so many places to look in! Tried by entering at the obvious spot, and thenn trying to keep the terrain to a 1.5... which is actually what enabled us to find it, as we were considering going further along, but decided that was unlikely.
But we got it!! And 13th find for the day, straight after lunch.

It was well explored but the rain made it a bit unpleasant so back to the car. Better luck next time eh?
Didn't enjoy GZ Looking for a micro with no hint in this area. What is the point?
Mega Caching trip with Ingidayna, Wethreefourdices and CachemanChris. First find of the day and we almost missed it. Nice hide, tricky with all the cacher trails left today.
didn't find this one - gave up rather than get any more muddy and wet - this location would have supported a proper size cache without any trouble at all - not sure why a micro would be hidden here.
Note that terrain is certainly higher than 1.5 when it's muddy!

32 of 70 smileys over the NZ MEGA weekend. Out caching with ingidayna, Castlewood-crew and Cacheman Chris. A very tricky hide, about to give up and spied something out of the corner of my eye. TFTC
Cool colour, muddy and a scramble . Saw a steam train while finding the cache. Nice view . The log book needs to be changed soon?? TFTC
Ghostgums, gunnie69, Ozibags, thefourbees, Kaisho53 and MrMeccano were on a 6 day escapade to Dunedin to attend the mega and this was thebeginning of our second day. After a bit of a wet & windy day 1, day 2 looked more promising. We had set our sights on a drive out to Port Chalmers and back.
It was a bit on the cool side but I had brought some warmish clothes. Once at GZ, with 6 pairs of eyes, it didn't take too long before gunnie had the cache in hand.

Caching with Ghostgums, Mr Meccano. Gunnie69, kaisho53 and fourbees while attending the NZ Mega. With an early morning frigid strong wind blowing, us Queenslanders were rugged up to start our caching day. Despite frozen fingers we winkled out this cache. TFTC PC SNIFF
A quick find to Gunnie69 to start proceedings for the day!
Day 2 on our caching trip to Dunedin for the NZ MEGA 2012 event with Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ozibags, fourbees and MrMeccano. Today we headed out through Ravensbourne to Port Chalmers, to Doctors Point and back caching around the northern suburbs of North Dunedin and Opoho.

The mornings sure are 'crisp' in this part of the world and it took a little while for the muscles to get going... Fortunately the hunt for this cache was not too drawn out and with a few of us scratching around, the container was in hand nice and quickly. The first of the day as we headed along the northern side of the harbour across to Hayward Point.
Found with fellow Queensland hunters Kaisho53, OziBags, TheFourBees, Ghostgums and Mr Meccano during our six day visit to Dunedin.
Cheers PC SNIFF

I went through the boundary and played find the cache for a while before I decided to have a serious look. Thanks for this one.
Dunedin seems to have a thing about micro caches. Explains why they have so few trackables. turned out to be easier to find than I expected. Love the colour!
No one else about which gave us plenty of time to have a look for this one, no need though because it was quickly to hand. Found with debsnz
Seeing that I was working at the Ravensdown plant this morning and I had a bit of spare time I was in a bit of a quandary what I would do....Yeah right. With a cache closeby there is only one thing that can be done.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Quick find, been driving pass this one every day, thought i had better stop, nice hide
Took longer to get an accurate GZ than find the cache. Small cleaver caches do need a hint as to where GZ is, not necessarily where the cache is.
Very clever hide. TFTC - still in good condition. (BTW a neighbor across the road and up yelled 'MUGGLED!" to us - I hope this doesn't lead to cache disturbances in future...)
Nice one! Coords had us in the wrong spot, and giving up we managed to see it from the wight angle. TFTC
Found with Mr B on our Dunedin raid which included 86 finds for the day. A neat hide that we managed to spot quickly. Thanks.
Needing lunch after chasing puzzles all morning so thought we'd pick up an easy trad. Took us longer than maybe it should have. Clever much. NINO TFTC
GPSr had me moving around a bit. When i approached from the right side, I quickly spied something. There is was.
Last of a Ravensbourne bike outing TFTC.

A very clever hide. Upon reading the logs I suspected another item close by could have housed the cache - has defiantely given me an idea of something for a future cache to place!

My first cache in south island, was down hjere for work and was picked up by a friend to which I introduced to the fine art of caching.
Quick find before the rain came full bore.

Very nice cache - thought i was muggled at one stage - but things are never what they seem...

Superb cache, very well done. Have to admit to walking around to see what was on the other side of the fence before returning and seeing the obvious clue. Thanks for the cache!!
I saw that the hedge had been trimmed so I thought I might have been out of luck, but it's safe and sound. I though "there's no way I am looking for a "micro" among that lot, until my brain clicked on. Good one.
I was initially very intimidated by the location versus the size of cache, but the clue worked wonders, TFTC!
Found it at 11:51, my 1st of 3 finds today, and my 680th find.
Nice quick find, spotted it immediately. Coords spot on.

Easily spotted once at GZ, its the perfect cache, only someone in the know would think it was out of place. TFTC
A well named cache after most of our group searched further afield than we needed to. TFTC
A good hide, leant on a certain area as I descended much to the delight of the cacher behind me.
Thanks

Another superb cache from PC SNIFF. A quick easy find. The cache also appears to have been "found while working" and signed by "James M". TFTC
Co-ords spot on. And combine that with the cache name and it was immediately obvious where it was hidden. A very nice hide.
Both daywalks plus Vicky and Caro returning from a walk. Not particularly good reception with that hill looming above. Spent some time looking at nooks and crannies at GZ, but once we widened the search we quickly spotted the hide. Beautiful craftsmanship!
Going for the 2nd ftf of the night but unfortunately they were a bit too far apart and I was beaten by 25min. Well constructed - by sheer luck, maybe cacher instinct I found it in seconds. That access road sure is treacherous with frost at the moment! TFTC.
FTF @ 7:44pm. Heard the notification come through whilst I was putting the kids to bed and, fortunately, happened to be going out to the supermarket straight after. Managed to make a short side trip to pick this one up. Thought I might find a few others out here but I was all on my lonesome. Like Stegan I found the area pretty frosty and had to tred carefully. Not a big fan of small urban caches at present, unless they are clever, and this cache was very clever. Like Stegan I spotted the hide very quickly and thought it was extremely well done - I doubt this will get muggled in a hurry. TFTC!
