After a few DNF's I am disabling the cache until I get a chance to check on it.
oww well ..after a long search ..not there ...spoke with some one who has found previously ..& it must have gone walkabout as it was definitely not in the right spot ...think after so many DNF it may need attention ..thanks anyway
No luck - it appears to be in someone's yard? After digging up a snake skin I decided to stop digging.
Blacklegend and I decided on an assault around the Monster's Lane today on bikes, we were originally going to walk as I couldn't get a bike but I bought one instead.
The weather was just perfect for our attempt with an overcast day and high clouds so little chance of rain.
This one was so close to the route we couldn't pass it by even with the previous DNF's.
We searched for about 10 minutes and then noticed that a muggle was taking a keen interest in what we were doing so we pulled out.
Hope it's still there but we searched in the most obvious of spots
Thanks Skeptimite TFTH

Found big snake skin so after looking for 5 to 10 mins with high level of muggles decided to call it quits to ensure geokids safety
We hunted for a while and couldn't find it. Pretty exposed location so didn't want to be too obvious in the hunt... Also became cautious after hearing about the snake skin! Moving along
#344~ It was so nice to finally see people again and talk to friendly dog in the yard after walking the monster trail from Braun St. Searched far and wide for water but the tap here didn't work and the ambulance station don't have tops. Sooooooo thirsty!!! TFTC Skeptimite
This was fun due to the lack of mobile coverage in the area. Secret squirrel hasn't found this one yet it would seem.
Yes apt name for location. I remember when they built the ambulance station out here. Thanks Skeptimite for the hide. Geo son and I enjoyed the find.
A nice quick diversion while on our Monster cache raid with Griffo today on what feels like the hottest day ever in Brisbane!!

Out for the day with Bristracker who chatted up the surveyors for a while before we headed towards the cache. Found quickly, TFTC
Met up with some surveyors for an interesting discussion and shared a muggle card.
Epic day of Caching with StealthSeeker today. I'd originally tried to find this one back in the days before it was relocated. SS grabbed this one before I was even aware of what she was doing. I was standing back saying "No, it was over there somewhere". Have to say this is a much better location. Thanks for cache.
Out for the day with one of the Aussiemates for a "monster" caching day. I think AM was having a meltdown. She was nowhere near the GZ when I am waving the cache at her. TFTC
In an epic 37 klm ride around some bayside suburbs, with TheGreenGeckos & M44 out for a ride, we were determined that some milestones tumbled!
This was the first find for me, offsetting the milestones...

Visiting my sister in brissy, showing her what caching is all about. Nice easy find tftc!!
A day out cycling around the 'Monster Lane' but of course we couldn't let nearby caches like this go past
No problems with the hunt for this one. Cache and log all ok.

This little beauty was in its proposed coords - perfect ! A fitting tribute to the emergency services and just out of muggle view if you plan your timing just right. Given that the nearby traffic can be awesome at times you can always sneak out of sight if needed at the last moment - a chacher's dream....

#46 find of the day cycling round the Monster Lane trail. A nice fine day for caching. Found and log signed. Tftc.
Visiting Brisbane for a couple of days. Hired a bike and caught a train out to attempt the Monster series. Made a quick diversion to log this nice big cache. Thanks Skeptimite.
Quick find. Saw a possum run up the tree as I approached.

Have been itching all weekend to rack up 400 caches before my birthday, but events held me back on Sat and Sun, so bring on Monday...and the rain. Decided to make the slog anyway. Mrs Moose tried to entice the mooselings to accompany her to the shops, but instead they cried, "We want to cache with Papa!" So donning their best lederhosen we all set out.
Rounding back home from a previous find, we stopped in at this one. It was here that my umbrella broke. Rats. I won it on The Wheel Of Fortune. Will have to email Baby John Burgess and let him know. Found the cache easily enough and signed under a mooseling's umbrella.

Thanks, AquaMan_Au for the hunt.
Found it. Over exposed, covered up again. Put in 3 TB, 2 of my own and 1 I found. Nice hide.
The hint led us to this good size cache in an appropriate area given the name of the cache. Quickly signed log and returned cache to hidey place. TFTC AquaMan_Au.
We thought we find this cache while out on a bike ride today on Monster Lane . Quick & easy find using the hint . All is good with the cache . Found with Matt_Eth . TFTH AquaMan_Au .
Following Monster Lane today and I thought that it best that I pick up some of the others area the area near by as well. This was a nice quick find not far away and lucky no emergency today, but a nice little cache in stead.

We almost had a state of emergency just getting to this cache today. Driving past with Xusia and he noticed a cache and with a name like this, I couldn't resist. A kilometre further down the road I managed a less than legal U-turn and headed back, but missed the turn again but another road found and we were soon at the end of a path leading in the right direction.
Nobody around today along the path and at GZ so with a little hunt around I spotted the container and we stood around to sign the logbook. All good in here. Returned to the car where some hilarious yokel.. I mean local, had stood my windscreen wipers up.. rightio. A fun cache name and worth the stop. TFTC AquaMan_Au

When I saw the surroundings for this one I hadn't yet read the cache description, so thought we were looking for a nano on an emergency telephone or some such. Nevermind, I still love the pun in the title. TFTC.
This was my number 44 cachefind today, its dark and its raining, but i am still smiling
Thanks for this cache!
Thanks for this cache!
The start of the moskitto-attacks!! quick find...
Our power-trail for today. It took us about 6 hours but we just did the half trail, because we weren't so happy about the tour and also the "conditions"(many moskittos, spyders and a snake in front of the cache)...

Visiting Brisbane and I was given a day off to go caching on my own. After doing a PQ I saw this series and decided to give it a crack. I parked at Decker Park and not knowing whether or not I would walk the whole way I decided to head down the Deagon Deviation to #28 and walked back. Then I headed down the foreshore and decided to just keep walking.
It was sunny and warm, but the sea breeze was cool and was whipping up some chop. It was high tide and the footpath was unwalkable (unless you wanted to get wet).
After I left the seashore the heat increased as the breeze did the opposite, but following the caches I managed to find a bid loop to do to get back to the car.
I had about 7 DNFs for the day with about 70 finds over 33km in 8 hours and was very footsore and weary by the time I got back to the car.

Found at last looked in the wrong spot initially before trying the right spot on the way back to the car. No sign of TB hopefully one of yesterdays finders grabbed it.

lenicka.second and I were out doing the Monster Lane caches today and picking up other caches like this during it. TFTC
Nice easy find with Nurseyjulie today but pretty sure we were, um, inappropriately parked near the emergency facility
This was a toughie for me as I had become quite attached to Spot the Dog and it took a bit of effort to drop him in the cache! Picked this TB up at the Gold Coast Wavebreak CITO a couple of weeks ago and he went to Sydney with me last weekend. We were good travel buddies
Lovely spot and part of a day long journey that nabbed us 30 finds!

Found it but not after going through the neighbours gardens (remember you don't have to do that). Have fun. TFTC Dropped off TB too...
Anoter nice easy one. So easy in fact, we had already got it out and didn't realize and so we kept excavating for a while longer until we spotted it next to us just sitting there. Oops. Put back in plenty of cover.
One of 225 finds during a Brisbane and back drive. Went to Brisbane for 5 days with my family flying up and back while I drove with a car load of stuff for our working holiday. Well a holiday for me and my boys while Leanne had a wedding expo to attend, but we did manage to get to Sea World for a day, where we had a great time, before they flew back.
After some caching in Melbourne it was on to Tocumwal for the night then two more days to Brisbane. Five days there then the same trip back but in reverse. A total of 4516 km travelled with 225 caches found and even a couple of interstate FTFs along the way. The trip turned out to be a trial run almost for a Solar eclipse / Cairns trip I'm doing in November.
After caching in Melbourne I made my way to Tocumawal where I stayed the night then made my way just south of Goondiwindi, crashed in the car at a truckstop. Up at about 8:00 the next morning and soon hit the road again to make my way to the Gold Coast via Warwick.
Found a place to stay then headed out to do the GCPT series which was only about a kilometer from where I was staying. Off to Brisbane the next day to stay five days, and tackle the monster series in Sandgate when I had the time.
Today was the last day in Queensland before heading home. Dropped the family at the air port then headed to Sandgate, hired a compact pushie and hit the trail. I had about two hours before I needed to leave and had the west side of the trail to do. I had a great time peddling along and stopping at each cache and a few extras along the way. This was one of them.
It took a bit longer than it should have to find the cache as it was right where it was supposed to be, I just kept missing it.
Thanks for the hide.

YOu wouldn't believe it - two muggles literally two meters from the cache. Amazing what you can get away with if you pretend to be fascinated by lizards.
This was well hidden. It took me a lot longer than it should have. A much more pleasant location than the last. TFTC Aquaman Au

Out for my geogirlfriend’s 44th birthday with BSMJ and jnr Willis007 to try and find 44 caches.
Out and about today on geoson’s mission to find 44 caches to celebrate my 44th birthday, with brownsnakemob and BSMJ. We figured the best way to get this amount is to tackle Barbbowman’s Monster Lane series. We added a couple of extras in on the way.
This one was found by me!!
Thanks for the cache AquaMan Au.

It was a wee bit hotter than we would have liked to hit the tracks in search of monsters especially as we did it by foot but it was still fun. An entertaining trail and the most ingenious reuse of containers as we have seen. We also managed to get a few other caches as well which made for a great day of caching.
Thanks to AquaMan_Au.

I did the monster lane with dokfrank on a hired pocketbike. It was realy something special to find so many boxes. On the way we found some other boxes. Thanks for showing us this little part of Australia
Together with tinflaida I did this circuit with a little handy bike. It was nice. Äh. On this cricuit we found some other caches as well. Thanks for this last big hunt in Australia
I remember going through the nearby 'disco' underpass on our Monster Lane walk, and we noticed that we'd walked past this one only later, so it was particularly good to go and pick it up today. The cache name was very fitting and IolantheK was super happy to find a path tag in the box. TFTC, AquaMan Au. =^.^=
