What a lovely area. Up here for the day so thought I might pop around finding a couple of caches.
This one took me on a bit of a bush bash until I stumbled upon it laying out in the open. It looked as though this one was found by someone who wasn't supposed to find it as they had also left some illicit paraphernalia behind (I don't think a fellow cacher would have left this as a swap lol)
The corner of the container was cracked and some of the contents had fallen out, also leaving the log book a bit soggy.
I replaced the cache in what I thought was the most likely position, but the owner might like to visit, to double check it's in the right place.
Other than that, thank you for bringing me to this area! TFTC

Ah yes. The large rock amongst the multiple other very big rocks. Nice day for it. It was super obvious when we realised it wasn't in woop woop. Defs not buried.

I approached this cache from beach level, so had a bit of a muddy walk ahead of me. After avoiding as many spider webs as I could, I spied the cache ahead of me. Wow what a wonderfully large cache!
No snakes spotted today, but I still retrieved it with the help of a stick. Found completely uncovered and creeping out from under the rock. Gave it a bit of cammo. TFTC.

First find on a weekend in Sydney. Lovely views and quickly found. Great to find a cache this size. TFTC
Found the cache but my brother said he saw a snake where the cache was so I could’nt look inside or pick up the cache maybe you should move it somewhere else.
the hint was fairly helpful, was just a matter of finding the biggest rock, TFTC!

Found while out caching with the New Zealand/Australia Geocaching Adventure 2019 group. Had to search a bit, but we finally found it. TFTC.
Took a bit of searching, glad to have so many eyes looking. We are a large group of cachers/muggle spouses from Canada, US and Puerto Rico. Calling ourselves and marking cache logs as NZGA2019 (New Zealand Geocaching Adventure 2019 group, as we started our adventure on a cruise from Auckland). Nicely done. TFTC

Greetings from St Louis, MO. Traveling with other geocachers from the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. Signed the log as NZGA2019. TFTC
Hmm do I have time to find another cache or two today. The answer is Yes! Coming down the trail there was a sign saying the area was sensitive and to stick to the formal paths only. Felt a bit conflicted, does a geo-trail count? Took me a but to find this cache too, the co-ords seem to be aiming at a good sized rock, but like a previous finder said I would suggest looking about 10m to the west. Cache is a good size though, maybe slightly bigger than an ammo box? I signed the log and swapped trading cards. There were also 2 "repurposed geoswags" / "whats in the box" here, I've seen one of these before and they are lovely, I took one which I will place in a cache somewhere else. Replaced cache where found. TFTC!
Found with teamMerlin on a trip to increase our number of large cache finds a quick find was made

With several challenge caches signed earlier in the year we set about today to try and complete some of those challenges ...in particular the challenges which required a total of 50 large cache finds. A nice walk to GZ as the cool breeze came up the harbour adding some relief to the morning heat after finding the nearby Pirate's Treasure TB Hotel. With the cache in hand we all signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache merlinux81.
The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football, TEAL OWL, 1000 Find Minion (which was actually in a cache in South Sydney), Spawn

Great spot! I saw some king Parrots which I was surprised to see so close to the City. Thanks for bringing me here!
Lots of potential places but found it in the end. Large container, well hidden. TFTC.
Came by Wollstonecraft area with the specific aim to help a TB get a ride. Had a little time spare so explored some of the nearby caches ... such as this one!

Coords were a little out (true GZ was 10 metres further West than GPSr indicated), but the terrain is such there aren't many hiding spots for that size container.

Today I went for a cache trip around the foreshore of our beautiful harbour. With a large number of caches I planned the most optimal route using the website cachetur.no . But as things go, there is always an extra find or a longer than planned search for a cache that it was not long before my ambitious schedule was falling apart.
After a walk around Berry Island I walked the short distance to this cache. The biggest rock was a bit of a challenge as my GPS could not agree where I was standing, and there are quite a few bigger rocks around. So after visiting various large rock there was one last rock left. And yes, there it was!

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Widen search area.
I had a good look for this one but due to time constraints I couldn’t give it the effort it required today.
Ill be back to find it another day.

Found with BillHill531 and my youngest son on a trip to Sydney for some points to reach 500 for the last souvenir. We were aiming for 25-50 point caches and achieved our goal just in time before dark, then found two extras. We also stopped for an hour at the new official Lego store in Bondi. A great day with 14 caches found and no DNFs.
Our thirteenth stop. We now had enough points, but another large cache so close. Yes please. Got to the point, but a few trees blocked our views. Cache found easily.
Thanks for the cache!

Forget my pen but found the cache. Studying abroad here from ny and staying at one of the apartments near the trail. Tftc!

Nice size cache, in the area after an event, and popped in for a nice walk.
Love the area, and cache is still in good condition, given its age.
Cheers

A second visit 5 years later, plus we brought a friend who had never seen a geocache! Our paper crane was still in there!
TFTC. Terrific site. Scrambled up from below. Luckily the tide was out. Beautiful warm winter sunshine made for a great view.
After a quick lunch we hoped for a quick find to get back into it. We spent a while to get that quick find, with me even getting to the point of trying to match log photos to the view from different spots. I didn't go far enough to the right to find the view but misspalot went far enough to find the cache. In order to make it more of a team effort I replaced the cache after signing was complete. Lots of interesting stuff in this cache. I added a souvenir Buddhist magnet from Bhutan.
After lunch, we made our way across the beach towards this cache. The phone/GPS wasn't having it under the trees and the cloud cover and we must have spent a good half hour here. I suppose perseverance paid off at the end when we found a spot that matched the photo. What a sizeable container for the location! Thanks for bringing us to this neck of the woods
Coordinates were slightly off but just looked for the best rock to hide something under and there it was.
Somehow ended up child free today (unbelievable during the school hols) and had to make a trip into North Sydney. So many options as to what to do with the time to myself but the weather was too nice to be inside so ended up deciding I'd do some caches in the area on my way to/from the appointment I had. I have not visited this reserve before and had a great time exploring the area. Made a quick find and SL. TFTC and for introducing me to an area I'd not been to before.
