TFTC mobdx. Wow didnt actually expect to make this find after a 5 year hiatus for this cache. And surprised it was in tip top condition!
It was the final day of the Quorn Quondam Quest (QQQ) weekend event, and it was a day of some local geocaching around Quorn, geocaching to the Pichi Richi Railway Woolshed Flat Train Station CITO event, a climb with [@Laighside Legends](http://coord.info/PR3BCW0) to Mount Brown, and then traveling back to Adelaide in the evening.
We walked this one after completing the CITO clean-up event, and it turned out that four-fun and TeamAstro also had the same plan as [@Laighside Legends](http://coord.info/PR3BCW0) and I. So we walked this track as a group of four, and conversation was had on a variety of subjects. It was an interesting walk, and always fascinated to see the geology of the rocks around this area. Some fantastic rock folds were just opposite the cache's placement. Upon GZ, we stumbled up the mountain, but wasn't too far, and the cache was found in good shape. Cheers mobdx, great location.

Found It!
Did the walk in here with David, Astro and Four-fun after the CITO event. Compared to the walk across the road, this one was a much nicer one!

Found with e.gregory1 on our way back from the Quorn June Long Weekend Event. Thanks for the cache mobdx!
After walking up the hill over the road, this was a pretty flat walk in after the clean up event at the station. David and Ben and Trev all strolled in and had a wonderful chat over the hour or so we were together. A great way to complete the caching weekend.
Found on the JLWE with four-fun and others- epic fun and games!!
Thanks to mobdx and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Found with FeatherWaite on the way back from the June Long Weekend event at Quorn. We wandered in from the road before heading back out to Woolshed Flat for the CITO event.
A pleasant little spot.
Thanks mobdx for the cache.

Csaba!, Gasamalu and yours truly hiked over Mt Brown then along Waukarie Creek passed this cache. Csaba! made a mad dash up the rise and dropped his pack right on the GZ. (Typical) This over 4 years unloved cache has now been loved.
Thanks for the cache, mobdx

Hiking along the Heysen Trail with Sandra and Csaba!. After a quick dash up the hill a very sad cache was found. Thanks
Found on a beautiful sunny winter's day in the Ranges. Took us a while because the GPS was jumping around a lot. The only person in our team who doesn't care about geocaching was the one who accidentally found it while the rest of us were frantically searching around every tree trunk in a 10 m radius! We parked at Woolshed flat and walked from there, and it took us about one and a half hours all up. TFTC.
Great stroll. I last walked this way over thirty years ago. Loved the scenery. We walked the top of the bridge on the way out. Awesome. A train went past carrying a pair of penguins.

i had just completed the nearby (as the crow fly) cache JFTV3, and left my car at its suggested parking spot. With the failing light i decided i had time (@1 1/2hrs) til sundown. and did a power walk up the creek to GZ.
It brought back back many great memories for me as i have walked this spot many time with my old schools and with friends. Love the rock formations near GZ signed the log(this one was nice and dry) and then made the walk back up the creek to my car. Made the entire trip with at least a 1/2 an hour of day light left. TFTC and the adventure. (i took 1964 aust penny...although left nothing i will leave something in near future).

We planned to do this cache after a quick jaunt to the nearby JFTV3. That quick 30 minute stroll turned into a saga and this cache will have to wait until next time.
A great walk with kangaroos and goats. Nothing slippery on this day. Nice rock formation as we sat and logged the cache.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys

Well this was a nice brisk walk. Spotted lots of Bird life, posting photo's, Kingfisher, Parot's, a Spoggy in a gum tree, and yellow butterfly. [^] Had to walk in knee high Grass, some distance, kept an eye out for joe blake. Sighted a little water in the creek, how ever country drying out quickly. TFTCSL Cheers Mobdx.
Geo Dad and Son decided to do this one for some Man to Man time. The had a great time going for the big walk together. and even found time for a nap (well Geo Dad did anyway)
Cheers for the cache!!

This cache was not on the radar but I noticed it when checking caches in the area last night and decided that the walk in was easily done. I felt that the scenery improved the closer I got to this cache and I love the native pine at GZ.
I was surprised to see that I was only the second visitor to this cache.
Thanks mobdx for the cache and the enjoyable walk.

Saturday afternoon was looking to be an enjoyable day for a walk in a great part of the flinders so this cache was soon high on the agenda.
Mrs Bowz 2 decided that it would be a nice day for some “outdoor’s” and agreed to a Geocache as long as it involved a bit of a “walk” [B)]
Unfortunately even a little gravel on the bitumen concerns her... so today the MTB’s stayed home...
Probably a smart decision in hindsight!
Turned out to be a fairly easy find for such a small container, you could hide a ammo box or even an esky here easily.
As we had walked in to here we decided to “check out the view from the top of the hill up there behind the cache”
Turned out It was well worth the extra few minutes walk as you get expansive views of the gulf, Mt Brown, Devils Peak and all the surrounding hills... Awesome!!
But we didn’t bring the camera... Bugger!! [xx(] [xx(]
Here’s the waypoints of the easiest way to the top if anyone is interested, we reckon it’s worth the effort since your already here. [^] [^] [^]
Go to
S 32 27.4824 - E 137 59.6556
Then head for
S 32 27.5508 – E 137 59.5524
Finally the top at
S 32 27.5514 – E 137 59.4918
Enjoy the view!
Having undertaken a peak-baggers impersonation, we headed on a couple of hundred metres to the first spring at ....S 32 27.5796 E 137 59.7630
I know there is a couple more springs approx a k on from this one further towards Mt Brown along the Heysen if you have the time...
But unfortunately we ran out of time to go any further due to having other commitments back in town.
Thanks MOBDX for the day out in the outdoors and bringing us back to a great spot to explore the area some more!

AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG
Was only thinking the other day of putting a cache along here probably at the spring…
And once again someone else has beaten me to it
I haven’t walked through here for a couple of years and thought over the next couple of weeks placing a cache in here would give me a good excuse to walk it again …
BUT thanks to Mobdx there is now a cache here...Grrrrrrrr....
Think I might “do” this track on my MT bike instead of walk it now.
(Dont forget to visit me in hospital) [xx(]
I'll Go for a ride to find someone else’s cache and maybe get a FTF? (But I Doubt it!!). [xx(]
You guys think way too too much like me it’s worrying!!!!
Truth be known...
Keep em coming! Love your work!
