looked for a while but unfortunately couldn't find - might try again another time.
Bad case of cache blindness .... it wasn't in any of the obvious locations.
An easy find on the way to another cache. I remember this place from the old/better times! TFTC
[:(!] Had nothing better to do and what better way of filling in an afternoon than to do a bit of caching and this was one them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

What a shame this caravan park closed - the old trees are wonderful and still looking very healthy. Found, along with large spider inside, at 10.22am. Had to pass a bunch of fishermen sitting on the bank as we made our way to the cache. Apparently the fish were not biting today. TFTC and alerting us to the history of this site The3Rs. #1873
Find #13 for the day. Forgot to charge ph enroute to this one. Dying battery meant the search took longer than necessary. Great hide! Ants taking care of it! TFTC
Parked and grabbed this one. Log is VERY wet, drained water out of cache but no time to dry it.

A great site; will have to return when the spillway is operating. I feel certain it would be spectacular. The cache was a quick find after passing the fishermen and picnickers. The only difficulty was in trying to write on a waterlogged log! After pouring the water out we returned it to the cache. It will need drying out and/or replacing, but as this was an impromptu visit we didn't have the tools to fix the cache. TFTC
The grass is wet after the rain we just had, my socks & shoes saturated.
But finding a cache was worth it.
Thanks The3Rs I can see how this would have been a good spot for holidays

# 3715. Mmm stopped for this one on the way home after a day caching. Found easily enough, opened it up and where is the log? Gone, missing, non-existent! Oh well, no matter, left a page from my notebook with my log and popped it back in position. Didn't have a little plastic bag with me though to help keep it dry. A nice spot here and all quiet on this late, damp winter's afternoon. TFTC
We found the cache open on the ground with no log needs serious TLC

In Albury for work... Nice day for caching... Not much luck in the city so back to the country 2 search...tftc
Parked the car and took the eldest with me for this one - first thing he described was the smell - turns out he didn't appreciate the sheep dung!
Personally it reminded me of my childhood on the farm running around the woolshed and the like.
Nice quick find and we were back on the road to the next one.

Good hide, nice spot for a walk. Remember this place as a kid. Found with Integrityguy and GerbilFX. TFTC
Took the long walk to reach the cache. Enjoyed masses of butterflies on the way. TFTC
Found 4:17pm , find # 1742
Today we had a sight seeing day around Albury, combined with caching. Well, rather we had a caching day which lead us to see lots of the local sights.
This cache was number find # 13 of 15 for the day.
We stopped here to look at the water gushing out of the spillway, and finding this cache was a bonus.
This is a city cache hiding in the country.
Loved the area around here.
Thanks The3Rs,

It's a shame this isn't a caravan park anymore, it's a great spot. Took a nice stroll on a sunny Fathers Day. TFTC

A quick cache run out ariund the weir. This one was on the way. A quick find but still a bit sneaky. I remeber what it use to look like as a kid as a caravan park and it was really nice. Try explaining that to geoons 6 & 8yrs wbo could only comment on all the horse apples and of course the huge spray of water from the dam. TFTC
Found on a day out with franksfamily04. This looks as though it would have been a great spot for a caravan park with the view of the river and the weir and the lovely old trees. Not much here now besides this cache, which is enough to get us there. A quick find was made by Mrs 2755 While the rest of us were still standing around the wrong tree.

Staying in a nearby park but although I found a tap and a drain as well as the cache, I think the amenities are a bit lacking here.
Out for a ride on the bike with geowife, found on the way through for a quick caching run and to check on a cache (Secret Garden) to replace a soggy log book.

Mrs. Lost Wanderer and the juniors went for a drive today and found this cache on our travels. Thanks for the hide.
This was a lovely area, some of the trees where huge and had obviously been there a while, the river was a lovely spot here and i am sure would make a great swimming and fishing spot in the warmer mths,we parked on the old boat ramp and walked along the river towards GZ from there. The tree at GZ had a possum living in it and could be smelt strongly on arrival. The cache was found quickly and without problem.

It was great to see this one back on line and I remember the old caravan park at GZ from when I was a nipper. I was entertaining the kids today for school holidays and whether they appreciated it or not it was a great day to get some caches. SL at 11.30am after a brief search where the GPS was sending me here and there. This is a nice spot and it would be a lovely camping area if allowed to be. TFTC The3Rs.
It was with some team work that this one was achieved. Once a great camping spot, now a good fishing area, only a few muggles to avoid. Thanks The3Rs FTC.
Great to be able to see the spillway from this angle. What a fabulous activity geocaching is to do on such a glorious day even with construction going full bore just a short distance away. Lovely spot. Quick find. Cache # 1,178.
I realised pretty much straight away that I had initially approached the wrong feature, a quick scan around and bingo, walked straight over and put my hand on the cache.

I was a bit confused at first here as there was not a tent in site. Nice hide. T4TC
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Common sense should have prevailed much earlier on this one, but we broadened our search way too far. Eventually back to the original spot, and it was well buried...... Found with bogonghazy enroute to our respective home towns after OzMega. Thanks to The3Rs
This one took far too long, and it was only after using a stick to scratch around that the hide was found. Not sure who'd bury such a well-cammoed container, but it was replaced in the obvious spot, to cachers anyway. Thanks for showing Sully1 and I this place The 3Rs
I am logging this cache now (almost 6 years later) as I was 8 at the time and cared about the finds but not the logs (sorry!) - this was found during the OzMega Road trip that I went on with Raspberry Vinegar, Fore!, Moo and Little Red Shoes. And Raspberry Chicken who might never log these caches - who knows! It was a great trip, I remember that much! Thanks for the Cache!
In Albury for the Oz Mega and we decided to grab some of the William and Hovel answers and find some caches before the flash mob event. There were lots of muggles camping and fishing near GZ today. A short walk and a quick find.
Just catching up on my logs from last month (oops). Found whilst attending oz mega! Took 12 catchers to find this un.
On approach to this one, Kaisho53 and I pulled up at that gate with only 50 or so metres to GZ. Hmm, do we go that way we thought... [?] Nah, we kept going and came in from the water, having crossed a bunch of angling muggles with one very nosy female who came straight out and asked "what are you doing"...
We responded with "walking" and continued to do just that as we plodded up to GZ. once there, I noticed a hidey hole but failed to spot the container... Hmm, there is nowhere else around that would hold a cache...
After scouting around a little, I returned to the same spot and pulled the container from it's lair... DOH, there all the time... Just not what I was looking for...
Business done, we decided to take a different way out, rather than suffer a second cross examination by Judge Judy...
Cheers TheR3s.

Another slightly tricky hide that took a bit of searching out for Gunnie69 & I today
GPS seemed to want to take us via private property so we continued to car park & headed back along the bank...
After crossing the fence (flattened) we came across a group fishing and where accosted by a young wench who wanted to know what we wanted ..
after wandering along further we realised we had definitely taken the long road (again)
Arriving at GZ cache proved to be a sneaky little hide
TNLNSL
Thanks The3Rs

We parked very close by to this one, and made the walk into GZ. We spotted the likely hiding spot, but couldn't spot the cache. After a bit of a further search, we soon spotted this sneaky cache We just weren't expecting this

Found at 12.50pm GAFF5 in the company of monch's mob, Squalid and BackPAQer and a few others that were there as well.
Gosh we made a meal out of this one - too many statements flying around, misleading logs, misleading cache size and description, cache not appearing in the GPSr - snake skins about - all mixed together meant that we didn't find the cache until after someone checked where it was for the forth or fifth time!!!
Thanks The3R's.
Feedback - you should change the cache container description in the cache page.

Easter means two things...Chocolate hangover and Oz Mega 2012.
Day Two of our Oz Mega adventure after missing the Friday and most of the Saturday due to work commitments...
We ended up with a group of more than 10 of us searching for this cache in many spots before I rechecked a spot already searched by a few of us. The cache wasn't in the obvious spot but was within a VERY small distance.
Thanks The3Rs

It was there, in the obvious place, but we need to be smacked around the head for how long it took us! In the end I think there was about 10 teams standing around before the "found it" was heard.
Was misled by a previous finder's log (thanks for nothing, McPhan [:o)]) but eventually the cache was uncovered... there were 12 of us looking (mega events will do that!) and so we felt relieved to get it after poking around in holes that we shouldn't have been (and removing 2 bits of snakeskin!) What is a micro doing there anyway??
Made this harder than we needed to. Found eventually with much relief. Thanks for the hide.
In Albury/Wodonga for the Oz Mega event. We didnt have many caches on our to-do list, but this was one that we wanted to do.
Out for a spot of caching on the Sunday night with Steeba we made our way to GZ where after a short search the cache was found.
Thanks

Nice easy find, but saw a closer place to park.., Oh well, maybe next time! Found during the time we attended the OZ Mega Event! – Had a fantastic weekend, and caches like this always add to the satisfaction! Thanks again 3R.
Had to jump fence as gate was locked. Then it was
an easy find.

On our way to Albury for easter mega caching. Caching with the Walenators and my earthbound family. TFTC
Found in the company of the Walenators, The Earthbound crew, Datruk and coley_babee on day 3 of our caching blitz at the 2012 OZ Mega.
Pulling up there was another team searching at this location. They couldn't find it, but Datruk made easy work of it!
Thanks again The3Rs for the cache.

Thanks for your story and for bringing us here to get a different viewof the spillway. It was great to cactch up with Krafty Charlie for a yarn - we haven't been caching in the South Coast for a while so it was good to catch up.
8th find of the day, during my attendance at the Oz Mega Albury Wodonga. Easy find. Found at 1445hrs, 86th find for my trip.
Even though I had just managed to get into Victoria on my way to Oz Mega, coming over from Khancoban via the Murray Valley Hwy, I didnt have any cache finds in the state yet, so had to grab at least one there.
Cheers

Found whilst attending the Oz Mega event in Albury with Wackydo. Great time following fellow cachers around. Nice hide but not the kind of thing you would ordinarily find up here. Needed a stick - just in case there was something else lurking about!! Thanks The3Rs for the cache.
This would have been a lovely caravan park. It also would have been my 3rd DNF of the day if other cachers weren't around. I had dug around in there and so had McPhan when RAGS stuck his hand in and came out with a cache. Must have been the sub 6' 5" perspective that allowed him to find it
Thanks The3Rs

Continued our loop around the Hume and thought we would find a park nice and close to this cache but found we needed to cheat a bit and jump the gate. Arriving at GZ the search was brief and the cache was in hand quickly. Another new hide type for our newbie cacher Katos, but she had seen it before in a non-geocaching context!
