Snuck out early morning to try and beat the muggles-no luck they beat us. TFTC
Out and about but failed to unearth his one. Looked and looked, will have to come back next time.
Had a free morning in Kununurra - luckily on a Sunday - so we decided to try and find a few nearby caches. We poked and prodded and felt and searched everywhere for this one, even enlisted the help of a muggle taking photos who knew what geocaching was all about and even with his added help and height it was nowhere to be found. Have to agree with previous loggers that it may have disappeared.
We had the opportunity to visit Australia. Within 6 weeks we did 8200 km - which is amazing if you are living in a country like Switzerland - but it's just a drop in the ocean if you are Australian. I was happy I could pick up some caches and we really did enjoy our trip- specially the 4WD Tracks and to swim with whalesharks. It was a beautiful time and we are looking forward to visit this country again! So thanks for the cache!
This is 3rd attempt at this one. Spent 30 mins searching every part of every item anywhere near the geozone whilst on a night shift. I think this one has definitely disappeared. Did find a key tag and that's about it.
We found it, but couldn't get it out. Think it's slipped from where it's meant to be.
Unfortunately couldn't find this one even though we're pretty sure we were in the right place. Anyway, love Kununurra - this wasn't my last visit to this amazing part of Australia!
I visited place on wrong time. Too many muggler around. With quick look i didnt noticed it. Next time.
We don't have a good track record with richlink's nanos. We searched with powerful torches, but gave up and had the local Chinese food for dinner. Yum.
Looked a couple of times, found what I thought was mint container but can't get it out, and it's apparently a nano so doubt it's that anyway...

Took the opportunity (by stealth) while no one was looking. Height advantage handy. TFTC
This was our 2nd cache find in a caching run of 2 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
We found it at 16:19 so this now makes our total find count 7003.

Another great caching day in the Kimberley. Todays outing was just a quick cache raid around Kununurra.
We have driven past this cache many times, but there has always been a muggle or three nearby. Today we spotted a window of opportunity and grabbed the cache while the place was temporarily deserted.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks richlink for the hunt today.

On a pushbike ride around the towne I was collecting some of the urban caches that I had just driven past in the last week
This one was easy, peasy in the early morning, before the nearby building opened
Oh !! Except for the dodging of the sprinklers bit !!
There are two sprinklers that take turns spraying hapless cachers more intent on looking for the cache than watching the watering system
More than once I had to run for cover and wait to resume my search.
One of the sprinklers finally scored a direct hit as I put the cache back
Amazing the amount of water coming from such a small spray !!
Very refreshing though [^]

Sunday morning & we had to wait until 10.30 am to book into the caravan park so we drove to the information centre to collect some information & a cache. Fairly quiet so it was a quick find & log.

Greta cache
found it fairly easily as the clue is great
I like the way you have to use stealth to retrieve the cache

OMG, it’s 5.30pm and it’s dark already, LOL, you’d think it would be at least easier to get the kids to bed, sigh, not to be. It’s been so hectic for the last week or so, it starts to catch up with you, early mornings, too late a night’s, rushing here and there, sooner or later you just need to have a rest day, or two even would be good. So today we just chilled out, the kids took turns washing the car, I fixed Charlies flat tyre on his bike, which I found out only needed to be pumped up, lol, after I had taken the whole wheel off and pulled the tube out again to find there was no puncture as suspected, I just had not pumped it up after I had repaired it in Halls Creek. Ha Ha, that’s what happens after a while of go, go, go, you start to lose the plot.
We had a quick trip into town to drop off mail at the post office then we went to the tourist office to find a cache “A tourist’s photo opportunity, GA1370”, this was a fun one for the kids, thanks Everlasting. Nearby we also found another cache “Info @Kununurra, GC2BZFN“, I spent ages looking for it on the wrong structure and almost gave up but checked the iPhone and saw that I was too far from GZ, we moved closer and Jacki found it straight away, lol. Jacki and the kids did a bit more running around shops while I went on a muzee hunt, I found 2 out of the three in town by WanderingAus (one was missing), we then returned to the caravan for lunch. The kids did some school work while I relaxed outside in the annex and when they had completed their required quota for the day we went off to cool down in the very cold pool. After a cuppa we went off to find another nearby cache “WanAus 107 Ivanhoe’s Rest, GC1V3NN“, this was a quick find without having to use the iPhone to navigate and found it in the first place I looked, I think that’s what you call a Gaff 1 Keith, lol.
Later in the afternoon we went for a drive to watch the sunset and look for a cache “Kelly’s Knob Lookout, GC1KEPN”, unfortunately this one was a DNF, I think it’s gone awol. The views from the top of the Knob were surprisingly spectacular, despite not being the highest peak. The sunset was a bit of a non event as a large cloud band was moving in from the south, seems we may be getting some rain tomorrow. From the top of the lookout we could see a magnificent panorama out to the west, beneath us lay an irrigation channel stretching out along the wide flat plains with plumes of smoke from some fires in the distance, a range of hills rose up on the horizon running to the south. Below us was the tree lined streets of the town and to the south beyond the town limits rose up some sharp tooth like hills and behind us loomed an impressive jagged rocky mount, we could see people at the top and wondered how to get there, a trip for another day maybe.
With the sunset soon followed the early darkness, we drove around looking for the coop to buy fuel and once refuelled it was again time to return to the caravan for dinners, showers and bed.

Tryed for this last night, seemed sensible in high muggle area. No joy, too many muggles! Found quickly this morning. Replaced log so good to go. Tftc
Sad start to a Christmas hunt. The obvious pointy end doesn't appear to reveal anything.
Many thanks from Peter for this cache on the 13. Australia Trip (2012/2013).
Cheers Peter

Thanks for the cache.. Found on roadtrip Cairns-Broome whilst stopping for lunch. had to wait for lull in muggle activity
Found this cache eventually. There were many muggles in sight and they seemed to be interested in us so we had to turn our iPhone GPS into a pretend camera. After all we found the cache but couldn't log it because the log is full.
Found it after reading the clue as the co-ords sent us to the other sign. Found it easily enough after that. Didnt bother attempting to pull the log out to sign after reading the previous log (log full). TFTC
Having been muggled out of this one previously, it was an easy find unhindered in the early morning.
This day was dedicated to walking Kununurra, what better way than to start at the tourist info. After a moment of reflection it was quite clear, where the cache had to be loacted and it was only a matter of time until the area was mugglefree enough to go fot it.
Info @Kununurra ... well we could almost have applied for such an info giver job as we were stuck in Kununurra for 5 days while our rented mobile home was at the repair service. We did not only get to know the caches of Kununurra quite well during this time ...
#1695 A short stay in Kununurra to kill some time during travel. A quick find at the Information Centre. T4T$

Busy day and night, finally saw our break. Pretended to order Chinese! Sneaky fun find. Thx richlink.
Stopped here to stock up for out trip to Broome on the Gibb River Road. Sneaky little cache was in hand quickly and the log signed before moving on.

Our last find for the day. We attempted this cache on the day we arrived in Kununurra but couldn't complete the task due to muggles, this morning it was quiet and we were able to make a quick find and return without arousing suspicion. We signed the log TP as our pen just did not want to write on the waterproof paper.
Mrs geodementia spotted this one whilst the kids distracted the muggles by climbing all over the structure.
Having the required height made this one easier and the clue led me straight to GZ.

Gotchya, Easy find, Unable to sign log as we have trouble rolling this type back up due to Arthrits. Thanks for the hunt
Enjoyed our walk around Kununurra on a Monday morning. There's a lot of interesting things at the information centre. Mr Thetaz had the cache in hand quite quickly. TFTC
A quick find thanks to an excellent clue. A deserted area on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe everybody is at the street party that we were diverted around. Thanks.
Good location for a nano with clear hints. Muffles are the greatest challenge. tFTC
Spotted this one last night but far too many muggles around to retrieve it. Came back just after dawn (a healthy 7.00am NT time!) for a quick retrieval.

Finally found it thanks to help from mobjules and ms Bushies! Far too short to find on my own! Still lots of muggles about! TFTC
Thanks Bushies for replacing it. Found it this morning, but needed the clue. I think we are FTF the replacement. TFT$
Many thanks to Bushies2 as the guardians of this cache for replacing nano - keep our fingers crossed that it lasts a bit longer this time.
Mr Bushies2 went over early this morning but as usual some local Indigenous muggles were sitting on the lawn near the hidey spot. We will keep on trying. Thanks.
Bushies2 have agreed to maintain this cache however they are away from Kununnurra until late December. They will replace on their return.
4 and possibly 5 DNF's (Moneydork possibly has an incorrect log) so maybe it should be removed.
I'm am disabling temporarily until our cache guardian (Bushies2) are back in Kununurra to check it out.
Muggles everywhere,no matter what day or time we came.Still we had a good look but no luck. ........Silky Seekers brisbane
Spent 4 lovely days caching in KNX and checked this one each day but had to leave without claiming it
Quick find with Jimmy01 while the better half did some research for the days sightseeing. Thanks for the cache
