We had a good search around but no luck at all here today.
Got the ladder out also but we still came away empty handed.
I don't doubt that it is still there
Thanks

We were on our way back to our apartment now after a trip out to Elephant Rock. These are pretty impressive rock formations. We climbed up, had a look around and found the cache quickly. No problems here....

Today we flew into Kununurra before heading to El Questro tomorrow, so the obvious past time was to go do some caching! We had a great few hours caching around Kununurra getting some great caches!
Quick find here, fun little climb, i’ll never say no to a roadside rock scramble! FP awarded.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache richlink

A little physical challenge (glad I lost weight recently) but all good once at the right level. Cool features - thanks for showing me these. TNLN-TFTC!

Travelling through to Darwin with a few days in Kununurra. Stopped by to check on our cache - all good.
Heading north with richlink on our way to Darwin and beyond enjoying the spectacular scenery and finding a cache or two along our route.
We were very happy to be with the CO while on a maintenance run today. Thanks richlink.

What cool rock formations. Mr poolpool was on the money here to find as Mrs poolpool was overthinking too much. TFTC
On my way to Perth via Broome with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
Excellent rock formations.
Looked from bottom. Couldn't see it. Climbed up. Couldn't find it. Back down and around the bottom. Couldn't spot it... Maybe that dark spot. Back up and had the find.

Find 5 of 14 on another full day of 4WDing, hiking and caching - cleaning up K-town and down to Lake Argyle and back.
Mr. O. proudly made it to the top of the stack but then came the fall, although not literally - couldn't find the cache. After a couple of minutes of scrabbling around up the top Mrs O said she'd seen it from down below which was a great relief. Nicely concealed and should be safe enough for another 11 years.

DNF due to a fall and a trip to hospital with injured Gingernut Chestnut.
Perhaps a fall warning and a relocation due to the fragility of the rock. The scrape on the leg isn’t why she ended up in hospital but the back injury was.

Attempted find with Flim&Flick. Did not find due to a fall. Now in hospital with a broken bone in my back. Please put a fall hazard on this cache
Trip over from Broome before heading home on a little business trip. Was great to escape the cold Perth weather and enjoy some warmth.
Thanks to all the CO for placing these to be found. Eventually I will be back this way however nothing planned yet but looking forward to exploring the place a bit more.

Spotted this from the ground. While I was looking for the best way to get to it hubby had already scrambled up. Good fun! TFTC
This one cost me some blood when the handhold I was using broke off. Great cache though. I like cache that has a bit more to do before logging a smiley.
As the footy was starting a bit later, we headed out this side of town to find a few caches.
I cut a lap of the stack finding a blue nicorette container (not the cache) before having a climb.
TFTC richlink and Bushies2 for looking after it

We flew north to find the sunshine & find it we did. The photograph of debris in the last log is not the remains of the cache as it is alive & well in its crevice. TFTC richlink
Don’t know if I can call this found . Hubby and I looked for ages all we found was an empty discarded container. Will send photo to confirm
I must have looked a sight. Dressed in a dress ready for the plane home, slip on sandals caching in the rain. Probably shouldn’t have attempted this but I was a little blinkered and caution and dignity went out the window. Happy to claim the smiley.
Had a few hours free this morning whilst in Kununurra so decided to knock off a few caches around town. Enjoyed some cool spots that the locals have chosen to share with us.
Quick jump up and jump down. Cache and log in good shape.
Had three weeks holiday so decided on a massive road trip to the most northern part of the state - the Kimberley. An area we have never explored, but had always been on the to do list. We travelled through the towns of Mount Magnet, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Halls Creek, Kununurra, back to Broome, Karratha, Exmouth, Denham, Geraldton and back home to Perth. It certainly was a very quick trip for the distance covered, over 8,000 kilometres in total, we saw a lot in such a short space of time, but barely scratched the surface of what’s out in these parts.
We would like to thank the individual COs for hiding the caches throughout these parts, from the towns to the highways and byways. Thank you for choosing to share these locations with us and we appreciate the effort you have gone to. Thanks for the fun.

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Warmun Roadhouse to Tumber Creek (NT).
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'richlink (maintained by Bushies2)' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Stack it!' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

From 23.09 until 24.11.2019 Stadibast and I spent our holidays in Australia.
During the first four weeks we drove with a camper van from Darwin to Perth along the West coast and its amazing national parks, in which we made several hiking tours.
After that we flew to the wonderful green Tasmania for a roundtrip lasting two weeks.
For the last three weeks we went back to the continent and followed the South-East-Coast from Melbourne to Sydney.
We had impressive nine weeks in Australia, in which we hiked through various national parks, visited interesting sights and met many friendly and helpful people.
Thanks to all owners for setting and maintaining their caches.

Found relatively easily. Kids loved climbing the rocks. Left a travel bug to continue on its adventures. TFTC
Saw this marvelous formation on our way out the other day and thought it would make for a good hide area. Wasnt surprised when I checked and saw there was a cache there, and a richlink one to boot!
2nd of 4 for the day after a slow start from outside influencing factors. Checked all the hidey holes and then stood back. Did some reading and checking and BAM, there it was.
Thanks for the cache Richlink and to Bushies2 for the maintenance.
Cheers

We found this cache on the way from Victoria River Roadhouse to Kununurra. Had to look twice before I spotted it.
Many thanks!
Many thanks!
This is our third visit to the Kimberley, a place we love and always have a hankering to return to. It is a place of amazing beauty and adventure.
On our last visit we cached quite seriously, but still left the area with a number of unfound caches. We were 4 years less experienced, and sometimes you are just blind and have no luck.
We remembered looking for this one, but in the dark, with no luck. Maybe we simply couldn't sort out our left and right
This was another one we remembered looking for previously with no luck. We searched the whole area, but obviously not thoroughly enough!
Considering the T rating we split our efforts and Mr SKI soon came up with the hide.
Four out of four today, not bad!

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 14. A morning in and around Kununarra was followed by a Ord River crossing as the Ivanhoe crossing and a back roads trip to Wyndham for dusk.
A nice little pinnacle just by the road, ready for an explore. Again, there were lots of crevices to look in before locating the one with the cache.
Thanks.

I have spent a few days in Kununurra on a work trip from Canberra. The rain held off this afternoon, giving me a chance to find a few caches (and not find one).
I had spotted these rocks while DNFing Argentea Loop, so enjoyed the opportunity to go and check them out. Finding the cache took about five minutes - I should have thought to check terrain rating - but it was just a matter of being a bit systematic. Nice hide.
After finding the cache I took a short wander through the wet undergrowth to better appreciate this beautiful formation. TFTC

Great hide, bit tricky. First geocache for WA, continuing on our geocache road trip. TFTC
Tagging along with the "Rats" on holidays has it's advantages, not only do we get to see our cool country but we also get to do a heap of caching as Dad just can't help himself and has to stop at every cache he can.
Heading across Australia on nearly every dirt road possible we stopped and found your cache as part of our adventure and for that, I thank you! Sorry about the log being a "cut n paste" but tthats just because we stopped at so many caches.

The Rats and mini rats found this cache as part of our Purposeful Meander across Oz where we visited every mainland state in 8 weeks.
Apologises for the late log in some cases but we are only just catching up on our logging now that we have arrived back home. Your cache makes up many of the great memories we now have from the adventure. The faceplate style log doesn't detract from the experience we had finding the cache.
Thanks

We left Parry's Lagoon this morning heading towards Kununurra as we continue our meandering across northern Australia from one side to the other after attending the Red Centre Experience.
This was find #3 for the day.
After arriving in town, we shopped, set up camp and had lunch. Now for some caches.
I was quite apprehensive about my chances of getting this cache, but I persevered and after far too long CIH, log stamped and all returned to where I found it.
TFTC I will award a FP for the stunning location that I would have missed except for your cache.

During our holidays in Australia we travelled a lot and searched some caches. TFTC and greetings from Switzerland.
Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We then spent a few days in Sydney with geocaching friends efore flying on to the Gold Coast for the fourth leg of our travels, that included visits to Lamington National Park, Noosa and an overnight trip out to Fraser Island. We then flew from Brisbane to Cairns, where we spent a couple of nights before heading out to the birding hotspots of Yungaburra and Daintree. Following on from a visit to Cape Tribulation we turned to Port Douglas. After a day out on the Great Barrier Reef we returned to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs and the fifth leg of our travels, which was a wonderful week driving the circuit to and from Ayers Rock in our 4x4 camper. On returning to Alice Springs we then flew on to Darwin, where we picked up another 4x4 camper. We are currently making our way towards Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
The cache was quickly spotted on arriving at Ground Zero, so it was then just a case of retrieving it to sign the log. Thanks so much for the cache.

The big move from Townsville to Mandurah WA. 5000km and lots of caches!:) After the geocaching event in Katherine, the next driving stint to Kununurra has begun!

Well I found it but I was unable to sign the log. I got muggled out by ?? jackaroos in training. Here they are a big bunch of them going back and forth, stopping and starting the horse and basically just circling. Here I am waiting for them to leave. Here they are waiting for me to leave. Finally they asked what the hell I was doing. Umm, just sitting here, and I got up and ran back to the car and left them to it. I really did not want to explain what I was doing there.

Beautiful rock formations here. Nice and cool early this morning and a nice place to explore. Cache was an easy find. Tftc
Being a mountain goat would be helpful for this one. Geohubby succeeded as he is the more agile. TFT
Got confused with another nearby cache details and spent time looking for a nano! Once we realised it was small it was soon found. Beautiful rock formations in Mirrima - mini Bungles.
Well, that was a test for a couple of oldies who are past climbing, better rush back to the motor home for a nanny nap. Hehe

This was our 4th cache find in a caching run of 8 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
We found it at 10:08 so this now makes our total find count 6986.

Another great caching day in the Kununurra area.
We stopped on the side of the highway and made a beeline for the formation, following the arrow of course. After going around a couple of times we read a previous log and lo and behold the cache was soon revealed.

Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.

Dropped: TB "Oh Oldenzaal"

A scenic detour this morning brought me to the side of the highway
Mmmmm!! Pancakes
Stack 'em as high as you like, just as long as they are covered in that special caching sauce
This stack was quite high too and I thought that I may have difficulty finishing it off !!
I had read the cache notes though and that terrain difficulty gave me good reason to head upwards !!
Hey !! Looky a cache hidden in a very dark little crevice
It was a bit of a battle to extract it from its hidey hole, but the prize was soon mine
TFTC and a fun diversion !! [^]

After scrambling around for awhile we eventually found the cache tucked away in it's tiny hidey hole. TFTC
A good place for a hide, especially a non-nano one. Once I was in the right spot it was an easy find, thanks.
