Hi there MAFLIT,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers, so without your note on the cache page telling them what the situation is, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and, when the listing is next checked, all will be fine for a little bit longer. But be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit this page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks so as to keep everyone up to speed with what is happening.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,

Like others before me, I could not find this chap. I hope to return if and when the cache is replaced.
Same as last GCer- but great puzzle & awesome spot

We think that it’s been mangled couldn’t find a single trace of it when the map said we were on top of it
Found the coordinates to what seems to be the right spot. Found what looks like a camouflaged container lid but no actual container. Searched for a bit to see if it had been left elsewhere but no joy.
Worked it all out and headed to the coordinates fairly quickly. Found the lid but not the container. Might have been muggled?
Found!
Great find with a great picture view. Loved solving the puzzle to get there, clever spot to hide the geocache.

Found with LetThemEatCache (which will be our shared caching name, once I retire this membership). She did all the work on this one previously, but generously waited for me to join her at GZ. Lovely view, sat & admired the outlook when signing the log. TFTC.
Got all the waypoints a few weeks ago, but decided to wait for the final find when Caches_High (geohubby) was with me, as I wanted to show him the view. Well hidden cache, thanks MAFLIT for the hide & fun.
My math obviously didn’t work but I knew it was where you could see water so that in combination with the clue had me finding the cache without too much trouble.

I grew up in Black Rock, and these days it seems the only times I manage to get back is for dental appointments. With only time to pick up a couple of caches, we parked the car at the posted coordinates, gathered the information, then proceeded to GZ. A nice quick find, then a chance to admire the views I so love.
Thank you MAFLIT for bringing us to this beautiful area.

Well this was a bit of a disaster. An assumption we made had us looking in the wrong area for quite some time. Realising that it couldn't be right we returned to the starting point and worked out where we should have been looking.
The cache was soon discovered.
Thanks MAFLIT for bringing us to this spot.

Out on the bike today and decided to grab a few caches around this area. Got to the posted coords and got the necessary info. Calcs seemed to to fit ok and commenced to go to GZ. Had a search for about 10 mins before I spotted the cache. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks MAFLIT. A very nice spot.

Looked for this cache a couple of years ago with no luck. Think it was missing at the time. Today I decided to try again. I spent a bit of time searching GZ, same spot as I did a couple of years back. Still no luck. Was about to give up but decided to widen the search. Bingo! Got you! TFTC
Nice view on a sunny day, couldn't find this one first time around but managed second time, 2 years later
Found this on Tuesday-ish, just got around to logging now

Nice little multi to start the day, a few years ago I had attempted to find this cache but thought I had the wrong coords and left, today we completed the first stage and were back at the same location, and I spotted it quickly TFTC )

Cool little multi that was made much harder with the muggle dog at the location of the unlucky house. I wonder if the people wonder why people come to the corner and write stuff down and look at their phones.....thanks,
Today was a long day of caching in and around Black Rock and Beaumaris. We still needed about 70 caches to complete our hidden creatures series before time runs out. Fantastic area that we have never really explored before.

After our Parisian trip in the first week of the Easter holidays, we (i and my husband Voske1967) went for 3 weeks to the other side of the world to enjoy the friendly atmosphere, food, landscapes and culture of Australia. Of course, geocaches were also searched for and found in Perth, Monkey Mia, Denham, Newman, Port Hedland, Darwin, Alice Springs, Sydney, Tasmania, Canberra, Melbourne ... . This trip downunder will stay with us for a long time! It was pretty hot in Australia for the autumn season

Doing a couple of caches on the way home from school pickup. I didn't take long to solve this one and head to our calculated GZ. A bit of searching soon had the cache in hand, although we had to use the hint to help us narrow our search.

Was a hot day but with a great view and a cool breeze we really enjoyed the find.
I know I wouldn't be feeling particularly unlucky to be living up here. After acquiring the required digits headed off to the next bit. Some local knowledge would have been handy as bush bashed up the slope to GZ only to discover a nearby walkway and steps. A nice easy find with the assistance of the hint.. thanks..!!
I was very lucky to find this one. I didn't work out which as the unlucky house. Thanks MAFLIT.
It is great how geocaching can take you to these cool little spots that otherwise you would have no idea about.
Fantastic little spot. Have driven oast hundreds didn't know it was here!
All good and great spot.
All good and great spot.
After a big morning at Bushranger's Bay finding my 1000th cache it was time to find a multi for my self imposed challenge of 'a multi a day for a month'
Arrived at the given co-ordinates late afternoon. Required info was easily found then off to GZ
More glorious scenery to be found. Cache was easily located but unfortunately didn't have time for an ice-cream! Cache was found in good condition. Many thanx to MAFLIT

Out to get my souvenir today! Met muzza in the Bunnings carpark to discuss strategies over a sausage. Nice easy find with great views. Never ever have I been up here despite living here most of my life.

Nice find while out with 1k2ate and mark9375 on a nice sunny winter's day love the area TFTC
Not having much success on my free hour of caching without kids this afternoon. I'd solved this one from afar but really wanted to drive the area anyway because, despite growing up in the area, I have never investigated these streets. My grandmother's family owned this whole area back in the day and she grew up living in the mansion called The Point before it was all sold and subdivided in the depression. Very interesting to actually drive around and try and fit it into my memory of the pictures of what it used to be! The view from gz was as promised, pretty amazing. Thank you so much for the cache!
Nice little walk from the posted co-ords. Found it just in time, before my passengers gave in. TFTC!
Good hide. This cache has taken several attempts to find but found when I was on a walk

Had a spare morning on a pleasant Labour Day public holiday so headed out to tidy up a few around Bayside including the new Trammed By Horse series. This was the tenth of 13 finds for the morning including the satisfaction of 5 that had previously DNF'd. I tried this a year ago and despite solving the numbers I didn't make the find. Not long after the CO confirmed it was missing and today after a find nearby I was able to try again. A quick search in a spot I had previously looks din and the cache was in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this multi cache MAFLIT.

Today I continued with my quest to qualify for the Multicache Month Challenge however with only 5 days left of the month I find myself just over half way. I have a lot of catching up to do.
I, like others before me, struggled to workout the seagull clue but as has been stated previously it is quite intuitive where to look. The area was deserted so I was able to have a good look around the area. Once I found it the cryptic hint made sense. TFTC.

Find #5 for my Multi-Month Challenge and Find #2 at 12.07pm for my 24 caches in 24 hours using (mainly) multis challenge. It was a pity that I had started with the nearby Violet and Garryowen - K.R.R. VII cache because this had truly spectacular views.
Clearly the residents of Beaumaris have been arranging things to suit themselves. A bench from which to observe the views (and of course sign the log), cutting trees down which had obscured their cliff-top views and ensuring they had multi-story views from their houses.
Thank you MAFLIT for taking back some enjoyment (and space) for the non-residents. A brilliantly sited cache and although I never did find that seagull the hint steered me in the right direction.

I collected the information for this multi early one morning a few months ago (September or October, I'd say) but for some reason never retrieved the cache. I don't think I ever saw the seagull but had a strong hunch as to which property it called home. Maybe lingering uncertainty led me to move on swiftly that day, but I did calculate the GZ correctly, it turns out. I approached from a different direction today and saw the cache within a few seconds of arriving. It is indeed a pleasant spot. Thanks MAFLIT!
What a lovely spot! Still have no idea what the seagull clue was all about, but you can find it without the AB numbers.
Worked backwards after finding the cache to find the seagull. Found him, but never would have without knowing roughly the numbers we were trying to find. Seriously tricky clue!
Over this side of town again today to pickup stuff that I dropped off earlier this week, yippee, fresh caches again.
Hmm, AB and the clue certainly had me scratching my head and I still don't understand it but having orienteered here once or twice I had an idea where to head so I wandered off looking for the elusive AB. Arrived near a logical end point I sat down to try and nut out some possible coordinates. On my second guess I had a GZ only 18 meters away so off I went and I found what looked like it could match the clue and sure enough, the prize was tucked away nicely. I sad back and enjoyed the view as I signed the log.
Thanks for placing this cache MAFLIT

Love the view! We couldn't find the unlucky seagull but headed to the rest of the coordinates and took a punt on the spot
The log is back in action. One little prize for the new first to find. Thematically relevant prize.
This one beat us. We found the start point but could not decipher the instructions. The yarn bombing could be a red herring. Could the red v on the tree be evidence of tree vandals?
This was a lovely cache from the point of view or where it finished up. Best street in town. I saw the house for sale there which clearly has our name on it.
We are replacing the cache today. A small sistema will be the target. It seems that maybe the old metal cache is still there somewhere as people have found it after it went missing.
If you find a cache then please identify either plastic or metal cache.
Thanks, happy holidays, maflit

Very cleaver hide , had given up on this one but then thought give it another go. What an excellent view must come here on a warmer day though
No problems with the seagull as quiet_au had spotted it quickly. What a great location for GZ. Wouldn't it be fantastic to live in this area? Found in the company of quiet1_au and GJMMelb. TFTC
An interesting area, never visited this part before but had wondered what was here. lochb, G' of GJMMelb and I gathered the clues at WP1 and then decided to walk to GZ where G' found the cache while I was concentrating on a different sort of tree vandalism. TFTC
Overcast and a bit chilly today but out with Lochb and Quiet1_au doing caches in this area. We were not put off by this being a multi and quickly had the answers we needed. At Gz the accurate co-ords enabled me to find the well hidden cache without too much difficulty. Very nice hide. Thanks MAFLIT

Ventured out this morning to find the last of the Multi's on my list within Bayside. I couldn't find the seagull clue but through deduction I worked out what the most likely house number would be. It still took a bit of searching as there are many hiding places within the tree carnage there. I was almost going to give up before I looked into a more sensible spot. And there it was, tucked away neatly in its little hiding spot. The view and the secluded position those residents enjoy is quite something. Thanks for showing me this place. I'm still keen to return and see if I can spot this pesky seagull.
This has been one lonely cache up here all by it self since mid last year! Decided to do a few multis that were still on my unfound list in the bayside area this arvo on way home from work. Only just succeeded in finding the clues, that seagull is very shy in revealing itself! The view from GZ would be nice when the wind isn't blowing as hard as it was today, but still hung around for some time to take it in. The cache itself was a nice hide hence why it doesn't get muggled in between waits for a cacher to come along. Tftc maflit
While killing a bit of time before Geo-daughters tennis lesson decided to try this one. Just as well she was along for the ride as she spotted the unlucky seagull and at GZ, the cache. Didn't have time to sit and enjoy the view as tennis lessons wait for no-one. Back at home it turns out Geo-son sussed out this one last year sometime but had trouble with the local speed limit question . Probably one of those days where he wasn't awake......TNLNSL. Thanks MAFLIT. BTW the $100 bill mentioned in an earlier log is still there...
Enjoyed solving multi-cache. Took us a little while to find. Was looking in the wrong tree. TFTC.
The starting co-ordinates had me wondering why you thought the views were anything worth mentioning, but one I arrived at the final GZ it was obvious.
WOW, would love a place up here. Even a seat to sit and enjoy the view.
The cache is in good order and well hidden.
Took nothing and left $100

Well, here I am in Cheltenham once again. While the car's finally being repaired, I'll see what I can find on the mountain bike.
"Unlucky seagull"... nice.
The bike was the perfect mode of transport to GZ, where the vista presented an enticing, cool blue bay. It didn't take long to find the niftily placed cache, then I glided down the hill toward the water, returning to the trail. Thanks for the workout, the cache and the view.

It was a hot 40° day and that water looked so inviting, I had no trouble doing the Multi and finding the cache as I admired the views. Thanks MAFLIT for the cache.
We had just been to the beach and had a few smoothies when we decided to do a cache. This cache looked exciting so we went to the coordinates. It took us a few minutes to work things out but finally Geodad found it! TFTC
On the way walking to the clues for this multi, walked past the GZ and thought "I bet it's there". Anyway continued on, got the clues and came back to the GZ and it wasn't quite where we thought. Excellent hide though while a coastal afternoon caching run with isthisit? and turnerfamilyFTG. TFTC.
Found this one out and about on a caching run with Spiffy- and IsThisIt? We guessed a possibly couple of GZ's on the way to the start of the multi, but had no luck. Found the clues and then L of IsThisIt made the search in it's clever little hide. TFTC.
He He, the seagull was the biggest Problem.

Great views from here & some impressive construction work going on. Thanks for bringing us here.
Well, it might have taken me nearly 12 months to get back here after my DNF, but today I made it back. I had a Scottie Club event on near by and was a little early, so I decided I had time to swing by and pick this cache up. The geo-Scottie and I parked nearby and took a walk along with oddly exclusive seaming street. We had no disturbances whilst we hunted for the cache. The dog clearly thought I took way too long to cache and was keen to get going on his walk. I got there in the end and returned the cache to is simple but very effective hide. Thanks for the cache MAFLIT
Found this after witnessing a feeding frenzy of gulls and pelicans at Rickett's point. TFTC. TNLN.
TFTC, Our last one for the night; found with the Phantom. Arrived at Wp1 and quickly gathered all the required information and headed off to Gz, arriving as the sun was setting had a quick search before some muggles came; so we looked at the lovely view and chatted waiting for them to move on, but looks like they had settled for awhile; away we went. Arriving back at 2:30am and quickly found the cache. TIme to now head home.
A nice nights caching with Hazey1. A nice easy find on the second attempt. We had to come back to this one as our first attempt was interrupted by some muggle teenagers hiding out in the area to smoke.
Found @ 01:50 with shogun. Out on our regular Tuesday night cachie run. We arrived at the posted coords and collected part of the clues, then went for a wander to find the seagull. We didn't find the seagull, but we figured we were in the right location for GZ after our wander. A glance at the hint and we soon had the container in hand. A nice multi, unfortuneately we didn't do it in the way the cache was designed. We took a reading at GZ to try and reverse engineer the location of the seagull, but even after doing that I'm still in the dark about the seagull.
