There was a man working on the carriage today but hubby chatted and I hunted. SL TFTC
I tried to find the missing magnet so we could re glue it, no luck
Thanks for the cache, a lovely day to visit Young after 35 years. On the way home from the OZ mega.

Had to drive into town today so decided to look for a couple of caches. Found this one easily enough and then went to the old jam factory. Two in one day!
Looked for this one for some time but could never get near it for muggles, but this visit not one to be seen nice easy find signed log ,tftc.
Always a pleasure to be drawn to the beautiful country buildings - the train station in this case. TFTC.
sorry for the long delay in logging this trip but with christmas on the way just run out of time nice easy find TFTC
I found this 35 mins after the previous finder yet the ants had already managed to fill the container with eggs! TFTH
No magnet on the cache and certainly no trains here for quite along time. Thanks mltansey.
We've not yet found a small cache. Too many Muggles around when we went there...
Came back for a second look - finally found it, where it should be except the magnet has gone west and the container was laying in the dirt - consequently the log was damp. Left one of our 2BluFish stickers and a lucky Chinese Feng Shui coin - we would have fixed the cache for you but did not a magnet on us.
We really enjoyed our few days in Young - had a meal at the Aussie pub and also at Mullino's - plus spent an hour or so at the Folk Museum. TFTC 2BluFish

Had a good look in the likely spots but too many muggles around to be an exhaustive search. Maybe next time. 2BluFish
This was the first cache myself and the family tried to find but we couldn't locate it and were a little disappointed but our day got better!
GeoW using wifi at McDonalds, GeoJr in need for entertaining so why not a quick strollaround the market and grab a cache to boot, Container attachment in need of repair and ziploc added to waterproof TNLN SL TFTC
A nice quick find with newbies, Nanny&Poppy and MonkeyMiss, before we drive out and head home after visiting family. TFTC
Quiet location at night.Only the hot dog stand guy around.
Thanks for the nice redt stop and interesting carriag

Saturday morning, farmer's market nearby, blowing a gale and really chilly. Parked next to GZ and made the find in between visits by marketeers replacing some of their gear in the rear end of the carriage. SL TFTC here. cloudglider
Last time we passed through here about six months ago knew where it was going to be but couldn't find it. Having seen that it had been picked up a few times recently we were confident especially after Zalgariath had found it.
Didn't want to be searching here too long so I parked the car and trailer right next to GZ and threw TLM Junior out the door to do the retrieval.
The rust on the obscuring item makes it a bit hard to reattach but well worth stopping. Nice historic railway station.

Definately needed alot of stealth, a little annoyed about the locals, who need to learn how to use indicators when turning.
Great place to stop off with the kids if you have any.
Thanks for bringing us to GZ and surrounding area.
Cache needs maintenance, magnet has been removed from Cache.

Found despite the best effort of a collection of muggles. Don't they have something better to do than stand around? TFTC
Wandered about taking photos waiting for the muggles to stop standing about. Finally let the fingers do the walking and found it. TFTC
Found it! Nice and easy, wouldn't have been here if it weren't for the cache. Brought some muggles for initiation.
Found on our trip from NZ, stopped here many times before but this is our first stop as geocachers. Easy find as kids played in playground. Tftc
Nice little spot, the cache is still there but the magnet has disappeared but is still hidden.

Going home at last - Brisbane to Melbourne - Day 4 of 6 - Cache 19 of 26
Finally we have arrived at Young after the journey from Gilgandra. Granted, it's not a long drive, but after combining it with cache hunting can make for a long trip so all I could see was the cold beer waiting for me when I finally got to the motel . But first another cache had to be bagged and this one was it! It was an quick and easy find but I must admit I was bustling Mrs Biggles as all I could see was an oasis with a cold beer awaiting me . Hmmm, cold beer, hmmm . . . .

A short round trip to this part of the world and the chance to do some caching along the way. We avoided the wasps nests and located the cache. The magnet is missing so it's no longer 'attaching'!
I was traveling to Kurri Kurri for a speedway meeting, and picked up a few caches on the way there and back. TFTC, TNLN.

Now that we know how popular this cache is, we have decided to make it a little bigger, so small swaps can be made, I will be over there next week so will upgrade to a container instead if the key hider ;o) and also with the magnet falling off it needs to be replaced so will be a great opportunity to swap it
Dipped travel bug - Silver Cache Mobile and Geocoin 2009 Victoria Bushfire Appeal Geocoin in this cache - both travelled with us through the area but were too small to place inside.
Found after a brief search, but safe from being stepped on as the magnet has become detached from the container. Took photo, left log note, TFTC
I grabed this one after performing at the reunion for veterans in the same park. Thanks for the hide.
Reperio at 1130. Stopped by here with plenty of muggles around to be wary of. Sat down at GZ and enjoyed the shade while I let my hands do the finding. After a couple of minutes the cache was located.
Lovely old carriage.
Gratias.

Stopped in the park with an ice cream and coffee. Made the find quick and easy but some muggles turned up so the returning bit took a bit longer.

Thanks for this one! I love trains and stations, especially old ones. Quick find once I got got my ear to the ground.
A quick find with Just a Cacher after seeing some friends at Kingsvale it was a quick side trip to pick this one up. Lovely old carriage. SL TFTC
Had been here and thought I knew were it was but left it for another day to avoid muggles. On a night run through town it made for a quick grab and SL. TFTC.TNLN.
Just checking random caches I want to do, this one is only 12,700 odd k's from home, just jumping in my car now
thank you Zalgariath, i might take a wirebrush with me and clean it up next week, when im over there
Found on the ground under GZ as the magnet had failed... well, more likely the amount of rust and dirt on GZ gives it a hard time holding on! Managed to find a spot to get it to stick back again safe and sound. Cheers from Sydney

Called in but a few muggles about so left until next time through here.I know where you are .[I think I do at least]
3331. [font=Comic Sans Ms][green]There was another carriage of sorts here today but were far enough away (and maybe way too old to see us at this distance) so an easy unobserved find made. FFP did suggest they they could also do a mammogram on me .

we pulled up right infront to block the view for the muggle family not far away, mrs r headed for gz just as a car drove in and be buggered park smack behind us ! i cannot repeat on these pages what i said ! with this mrs r crabs the phone and makes an air call, muggle checking on why mrs r was sitting where she was ! mrs r scored the booty unnoticed and the log signed ! with this the muggle had finished her durrie and headed off, all very STRANGE. good spot , thanx for the stealth test, we passed !!
Nice new Cache for Young, an areas that needs a few as there are a few that no longer exist. Thanks
Travelling past today towing a caravan and was lucky enough to get FTF at 1215. A great old carriage and depending on how busy the carpark is you can park a caravan here. Thanks THE CATIONS and mltansey.
