Spent a long time searching while the dogs had a run. Think this one has been muggled.
Our last for the day. We arrived as the sun was getting low in the sky which made for some stunning backlighting as headed to GZ. The cache was soon in hand and we headed for home just before sunset. A fitting end to a great days caching. TFTC Chippyroo. [1002]
A nice spot to stop for a morning cuppa (along with the others who were stopping for a morning cuppa). Luckily no one was at the seat. A small search and wula - a cache. Clear skies again from TeamAstro.
Found this one relatively easy. A family of pied butcher birds watched us very intently and the area was being guarded by a HUGE golden orb weaver spider. We were able to retreive the cache without disturbing any of the wildlife. TFTC
Found on 2nd attempt after 1st go was foiled early this morning by a drunk passed out on a bench next to GZ. Came back here tonight with Takka03 on dusk and scored just before the light left us completely. Great hide. TFTC!

Our first at Hawks Nest. We searched 5 Minutes to find the small container.
Wonderful place.

Found it hanging around while on Bob's Birthday Ballistic Blitz. Love the history. Mrs Morgan was really touched by the family story. Thanks Chippyroo. SL

A quick little find on a very hot day. Absolutely beautiful spot. Mrs Burners picked out many potential holiday houses to buy once we win lotto. TFTC
This was the first time I have been to hawks nest since you placed these caches so a quick grab on the way past was in order. arrived at gz and had a look around but nothing found so back to read the info as this was a last minute cache oppunity and I printed the info but didn't have time to read it properly. When I read it again I relised that i was looking too low and walked back to gz and there it was laughing at me!!!

Have passed this area many times on a boat and always wanted to visit. Interesting bit of history about the Pioneer poles. Found the cache on a very windy day with plenty of activity on the water. TN. SL. TFTC.
Found at 10.40am GAFF1. Well the inclement weather is good for one thing around here - No muggles! Went over to GZ and looked and looked. Went over to the structure and looked and looked and then a sudden thought came - what if it is...?
Back to Gz and - yes what is that? A nicely hidden cache which was extracted without getting too wet.
Thanks Chippyroo - we have been here before so know what it looks like in beautiful conditions, but still don't know what Winda Woppa means. Maybe it is aboriginal for lots of wind, or happy meeting place where the winds gather?

Found whilst on a camping holiday. Great kids park. Unfortunately the equipment was too wet for the boys to play on.
