I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in Subject), and assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all geocachers.
The rule is; [red]if you can't fix it straight away then "Disable" it till you can[/red] - I have disabled it for you this time! [^]

[purple]Please respond to this situation by 10th November to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. Sad If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.[/purple]

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Had a vague look but gather it's not been replaced as there hasn't been a log stating as much.

Found the cache! Unfortunately, as I was trying to retrieve it, it fell to the bottom of the deep and narrow cavity. We tried to get it back but the cavity is boarded up from all sides and the cache cannot be reached without vandalising the town's information board. Any ideas?

Didn't find this one - had a quick look around but there is no sign of the cache and the wasps were getting to me so I left.

Down on the Western Port side of the peninsula again today hunting down caches. I started in Hastings and looped down to crib point and back through Balnarring. 36 caches for the afternoon and a couple of DNFs. It was a pretty nice afternoon to be out and about. Thanks to all the COs for the placement of the caches.

Arrived at GZ and quickly avoided the beehive at the structure. Luckily the cache is far enough away to still retrieve without any issues.

Day 13 of 31 day challenge and personal challenge of 48 in 24 hours, hubby Greysubmarine, JustAnnie1 and I headed out for a huge day caching in an attempt to break a lot of personal records.
The three of us headed to GZ and looked everywhere for this find. Took us a while until I saw a little something out of the ordinary and the find was in my hands. Signed log and returned to original place.
Great little hide megabogan

So day 13 of the 31 day challenge, Mrs G and JustAnnie1 and my self headed out for a couple of hours of caching with the ultimate goal of completing the Jack Speak Series. We decided that we would grab as many caches on the way to do this series as we could. What a beautiful day Melbourne put on today lovely sunshine and a nice warm winters 18 degrees day. The wind was starting to pick up but over all it was a great day for caching.

Arrived near the GZ and parked the GeoKorando. Mrs G, JustAnnie1 and myself headed to the GZ where it was a quick read of the description, searched the area for the standard hidey spots when Mrs G said she had the cache, log signed and cache was returned. Great hide, thanks for the cache cheers.

Having cracked one of Danozz's puzzles recently I got a call from the good man himself asking if I'd like to join him on a trip down to the Mornington Peninsula to clear up the Jack Tar series.
Having solved the puzzles very soon after I arrived here in Melbourne, but without regular access to a car I jumped at the chance.
Danozz was also after hoovering up some missing trads along the way which was a bonus for me as being a more single minded kind of chap I would have just been focussing on the series in hand.

A quick find found lying on the floor - replaced where we think it had fallen from.

Thanks for the cache and thanks for bringing me here.

My apologies to the cache owner for the exceedingly large delay in logging this find.
For quite a few months life has had an awkward habit of generally getting in the way of caching. Not completely enough that I havent been able to go searching and occasionally finding, but certainly enough to when it actually came around to writing and logging the finds. I can only apologise for any records, karma targets or unloved cache days that have been skewed as a result of these late entries.
Thank you for placing the cache and thus enticing me to get off my backside and get out and explore.

We had the opportunity to head down to the Penninsula for the Australia Day long weekend.
For January the weather was a very pleasant mid 20's and the caching was brilliant.
So many new caches since the last time we had been over this way. We saw some places we had never been before and some great hides. Thanks to everyone for placing them.
Nice and easy find here but soime bees have moved in a couple of meters away from the cache.
Great parking spot here too.

Sorry megabogan for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks megabogan for placing this cache.

Yey it's holidays!!! MMelb went off to Eildon last night to stay with friends so of course caching was on the agenda for G&JMelb!!! We decided to head down to this part of the peninsula for 2 reasons - to visit the Tyabb Packing House and to tackle the cache Bittern Markets again SANS MMelb lol!! So we arrived at the TPH and JMelb went off to browse whilst GMelb went looking for some local caches. After looking around the TPH for about 45 mins JMelb rang GMelb but he didnt answer so she rang again and again and again and again! He had left the phone in the car whilst off finding Piglets Christmas Cache which entails a bit of a walk!! Phones aren't much use sitting in the car... lol Hmmmm! Razz
So once GMelb picked up JMelb we set off to find more caches and this was the first one. With JMelb being vertically challenged GMelb made a quick find on this one.

We nearly drove right by this one. I think we were expecting to see a big green shed right on the side of the road. Once we parked near the GZ, T got out first to hunt around a bit. K followed and spied the cache - on full display - on the walk over form the car. Go you brave little cache!

Today I was given another opportunity to go caching for a day. Well it was only about 8hrs but that's close enough to a day Wink. I had to choose an area rich of caches to catch up to my nemesis [url=http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=b4585843-0564-409a-aee2-b35dc0e22ecf]gmj3191[/url] in one day. After some considerable consideration, I chose to come back down to the Eastern side of the Peninsula with half of a power trail still to complete and a bucket load of other caches, it was perfect! The weather started off nice and got cloudy and before we knew it, it was pissin down with rain. We didn't find too many during the rainy period but it didn't matter. It was a fun day finding about 32 caches in 6hrs and finally completing the Jack Speak series. This was the 4th for the day.

Wow, this sure was a bold hide! I'm very surprised it hasn't been muggled yet! After Dad parked about 10m from it, I got out of the car and immediately spotted the cache. Thanks megabogan! Big Grin

#2749 Our last cache of the day, we had been awake for approximately 32 hours (a long story but our intention was not a numbers grabbing exercise). The kids and I had not alot to do this mother's day weekend so I decided we would spend the night in Hastings and do some caching in the area. The kids were so excited they eached packed a full suitcase each for just one night away, but at least I knew we had plenty of spare clothes just in case we had to walk through water, got muddy, dusty (not with all that rain) or even sandy. It was a great weekend away with the kids and we had a lot of fun. We collected a few caches and built some sand castles here and there. thanks for this cache.

See previous log. A large swarm of wasps appears to be nesting here. They will move on eventually I suppose. In the mean time, I don't believe the area is safe.

A big caching April's Fool Day for me while staying at a camp in Mt Martha for a day or two with the family. Firstly with geoson and a friend in the morning, and then in the arvo, I obtained permission to go out on my own - yes!!

I pulled up a few metres from the GZ, but a large swarm of wasps was inhabiting the shelter. I wasn't game to get out of the car. Looks like a nest. (I notice there was another cacher on the same day - braver then me)

I think this cache needs to be taken off line for a while - a night cacher could get a very nasty surprise.

Thanks megabogan.

Found @1126 #1275
Today was on another epic cache run with best mate ahomburg with our intention to clear out the remaining unfound caches in the Hastings and surrounding areas. This run resulted in 33 finds and 3 DNFs for me a new record for number of finds for " a non-power trail" run in a single day.

Arrived at GZ and cache was spotted, but also spotted a large number of bees! Quickly grab cache and move away from GZ to be able to sign the log. Now looking at the structure from this location I notice the spot where the bees had made a hive or in the process of.Surprised
So a made frantic dash to return the cache and then to the car, hopefully not to be bitten in the process. I was lucky but fellow cachers be warn!!.
