Gone - Nice spot but the area is eroded

Time for this one to go as the hide has disintegrated over time and you can no longer get comfore!table....

Think this has long gone under the debris.

Sadly the site has seen better days

We took a load off, but there's not much left of the seat. Unable to find it today.

À great Sunday for caching in Canberra, started out very cold, but turned into a perfect day. Did lots of kilometers of walking on and off track and could have saved a lot of time by taking the pushbike, but really enjoyed the walk.

Grabbed this one while out for a ride with geokid. A little trickier than it should have been.

Nice hide. Bright little fella. Didn't have the patience to get the paper out and didn't want to scrunch it up.

As we approached the spot to look, we noticed the cache on the ground in plain sight. Pesky echidnas Registered and placed it back where once we think it came from Reckon if you take a rest and enjoy the view you’ll find it to.

Came out again on the Mtb's with Lpud to finish off this part of the trail. Mission accomplished. TFTC

We went for a ride round mulligans flat and gooroorooyoo today, but, neither of us felt particularly energetic so it was an easy decision to take it easy and pick up some of the many many mulligans caches.

It was a grey day, with occasional sprinkles of rain, and we didn’t see anyone else out there the entire day, and the silence was kinda strange, but peaceful.

We saw lizards, swampies, eastern greys, echidnas and birds. No quolls and no bettongs were sighted

Fore!’s geocaching secretary reporting for duty: I thought I’d check this one while in the area...sure enough the cache was missing from its hide but I located it about halfway down the slope behind the seat...I’ve used something heavier to keep it in place (should be obvious where it is now)...cache on!

This little guy has been a pain for a while now. It’s a shame because the spot was once fabulous. I’ll take it offline for the while, hoping my all-star secretary can take a peek at some point. I fear this one is not going to persist. More news soon, perhaps.

Came out in the freezing temperature this morning to go caching. Lots of wildlife around. Found the cache, but unfortunately forgot my pen.

7334 Located by baby&Mrs gopher as we started this section of the CCT trail. With school holidays there are many walkers and bike riders passing through. Had to wait while the traffic thinned out a bit. SL Tnx Fore!

Found while out for a walk. The seat didn't look too comfortable and was damp after the rain. Having just done part of the JackaKid's series, it was nice to find something other than a minty tin. Found the hide in the first place I looked. I had seen some kangaroos and various wallabies on my walk. TFTC.

Today propper exercise starts. Genghicat and I are headed to Bali and that means walking up My Batur. Fitness needed. This cache marks the start of our trail.

After determining I couldn't get through the fence ( it is electrified ) to get kangaroo, I doubled back and looked for this cache. Unfortunately i had no luck. I actually cracked the chairs arm accidentally as I pushed on it to stand up. It's completely eaten out by termites and I suspect this is where the cache was initially since its difficulty rating wasn't high. Still I could be wrong to. It's a good spot to sit and rest.

I jogged back a little later today with genghicat also but he had no luck either.

Hmmm, the cache hasn’t been found since I replaced the log last year...I will check it next time I’m out that way however it is a sneaky hide...

Please use Needs Maintenance logs to highlight issues...taking this one offline until my geocaching secretary, allrounder, can replace the log...

My weary geocaching secretary appreciated being able to take a load off this as she replaced the log and returned the cache to its correct hidey hole...cache on!

It's been a long while since we've done a caching marathon, so today we left The Woofer at home and headed out to Mulligans Flat. We spent just over 5 hours wandering the trails, found 43 caches, and encountered lots of wildlife. We left goodies in every container that would fit one. What a gorgeous place!

Wish we had time to do what the title says, but it was a quick log sign then on to the next one! TFTC!

Fore!'s geocaching secretary reporting for duty: I've removed the remaining part of the main cache container (presumably the main part was thrown into the dam!) and have replaced the container holding the log within a metre of the original hide...please ensure you replace and re-cover with natural camo as best you can...cache on!

Walked past the cache this morning - and found the log and half the hide just lying on the seat in the open - I placed it under a block of wood next to the seat to hide it away from muggles - the container that I saw when I last saw this cache was also missing. There were a heap of people in Mulligans Flat this long weekend.

This geocacher reported that the container is damaged.

What a lovely spot to take a break and admire the view! Started looking around the object at GZ, before spotting the likely hide.
