As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

If this is not going to be fixed then it should be archived.

The CO doesn't seem to have been in the system since 11th July and didn't respond to my comment about the 'X' being 50m from the published coordinates. If the placed date is correct then this cache was in the wild for a year so anything could have happened to it between then and when it was published.

There are now 3 cachers that haven't found anything near the actual tree with the 'x' after ignoring the listed coordinates.

Another DNF but this time I at least found the X. Trouble is that right can end up being any direction depending on which way you happen to be facing so I tried all dirctions but couldn't find a cache anywhere near the X.

12-Jul-11
Had a look for the x and a bit of a poke about on my way home, but this is snake country so my poking was kind of very gingerly. Will wait till summer when the hight grass is gone and one can see slithery creatures.

Forgot to mention that the 'x' is about 50m in westerly direction downstream from the listed coordinates so there is definately something wrong with them.

Waited for the rain to ease and headed off to find Chwiliwr and wife searching for the cache. Both GPSr has GZ at the same spot and we searched in every expanding circles. Looked at the hint but never found X.

Chwiliwr left and I continued the search for another 15 minutes but with the light fading it all become too much.

Thanks TeamChickenRice I think.

People are not finding cache, will make it a bit easier and double check location and hint.

Arrived and made our way to GZ but it didn't quite match the description given but looked anyway then resorted to the hint but did not find anything like an x on any tree nearby. Expanded our search area quite a bit but did not find any sign of a cache or that mysterious x. Most of the area would be under water in a wet winter and with the rain was quite wet today so made searching easier in one sense by only looking at places that would not flood but harder as the vegetation stuck together and made it difficult to look behind/under, etc.

Another cacher arrived and we looked together for a while but I had a medical appointment so had to leave.
