While camping nearby at the recreation reserve, Chook and WendyB158 took a stroll over to this cache. We had found this cache 18 months ago, so we knew exactly where this cache should have been. There has been massive flooding here in October 2022 (where the water level went to the roof of the footy club rooms!! - same as 2011), and there has only been DNF's on this cache since. Nevertheless we gave GZ a thorough search just in case it had been buried under debris, but no cache could be found. It has most likely floated away, given it would have been well under water last year. The tree at GZ is still looking good though. Unfortunately Chook did not have a spare cache with her this trip, so couldn't replace it for you. Fingers crossed it can be kept going.
Sadly not today, did not find at 10:50amOff on a camping weekend with family, staying at the Laanecoorie Lakeside Park and doing a little vegging but also a little geocaching here and there. After a great weekend away, we're travelling home and grabbing a cache or two on the way Looks like this one is gone **Thanks for placing this cache billywillysillydilly**---If you are looking for some new caches to find, explore the nominees for the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. The Nominations Geocaching List is available [here](https://coord.info/BMC8QYR)!Voting is also now open for the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. Heading home from visiting Tarnagala, and it was time for a cache or 2. Interesting story behind this cache. The river was way up as well from all the recent rains. A quick find today.

Quick find with Bogonghazy as we head to St Arnaud. Thanks for placing the geocache
We have driven through Newbridge many times over the past years, but never stopped to cache as we were usually trying to get somewhere a lot further away before dark. This weekend we were camping nearby so it was a short stroll to the cache. As we approached, it looked like it might be private property with a shed and fencing and all, but the notice on the pedestrian gate reassured us that it was all good to enter. Cache found easily and in good condition. TFTC billywillysillydilly

With Mrs P and daughter heading home a day early due to the wet weather I now had a day all to myself to cache to my hearts' content! So I chose to take a tour of the region and see some parts I haven't travelled to before. A few campers around this reserve but fortunately none over on this side so I could find and sign this cache undisturbed. Nice to find something a little bigger too. Thx billywillysillydilly for the hide and showing me around the district with your cache.

Thank you for the cache and hide Billy. Felt a bit weird going through the gate to this one but all good. Cache and hide doing well.
I was going to go paddling on laanacoorie this afternoon but it is blowing half a gale so i decided to do some terra firma caches in the area instead. A nice easy one here, thanks
Had dinner at the pub here last night, thought we'd check out the area more today. Nice quick find.
In Dunolly for a couple days camping with sassieold55 , we walked in the long way, and took a bit of a short cut, oh the long grass, but walked back along fence line. TFTC
Short stroll to stretch the legs & get a cache. Only us kicking goals today. TFTC
Great to be able to get away again, this time - a 3-day camp at Newbridge.
I noticed there was this trad not far away at all, so wandered over (with a previous finder) to put my name in the log.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, billywillysillydilly

After a great night sleep at camp last night in Lockwood, I woke up early for a big day of caching through the Bendigo region, Bridgewater, Serpentine, Prairie and Echuca. A great day out, lots of finds, only 2 DNFs.

We wanted to get out of the house, enjoy some sun shine and turn some caches into smilies. Well being a sunny day and worried about snakes, myself and GeoSon wussed out but Mr ReganSeeker and GeoDaughter2 confidential went for a wander and located the cache. TFTC
So I took the long way to get to this hide, which included a small walk my dog was happy about. Once found I decided to visit the baby moo's. I was not dissapointed. Covered in sticky cow kisses I made my way back to the car. Tftc.
The three of us were heading back to Adelaide from Northeast Victoria. We've driven past this cache many times over the years, but today we had time to stop and have a rest.
We parked near the oval and Mini Tardis and Mr Tardis walked over the GZ. Mini Tardis found the cache in the first place he looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache billywillysillydilly.
PS: Sorry for logging this one 8 months late, you'd think with spending more time at home due to COVID-19 we'd be getting our logs in faster - but alas, still catching up with our logging.

We teamed up with Rapidlywild and headed down from Canberra for another Geocaching Victoria Mega. We arrived at our accommodation in Bendigo on Friday afternoon / evening and checked out a few caches in the area before retiring for the evening. On Saturday morning, we had a pleasant drive across to St Arnaud, arriving at the event as the opening ceremony was wrapping up, and the lab caches were released, so we joined the frenzy with the masses solving the cleverly constructed lab caches.
Sunday, day two of our mega weekend we headed over to St Arnaud to tackle some of the fire trails, and what ever else we came across along the way.
Stopping at this one, we were not sure if the area was private property, after seeing no signs we went across to quickly find the cache and startle the sheep.

It's that time of the year again, Victorian Mega time, so its off to St Arnaud for myself and the ladies of FurfacesLL. A long road trip ahead, heading off Friday morning and getting home late Monday night and a fun filled weekend. We found many caches of all kinds of variety.. Trads, Multis, Puzzles, EC's, Virtuals, Letterboxes, Wherigos, Events, Cito's and of course, the Mega itself. We enjoyed the weekend and there sure are some unique caches here in St Arnaud, we still have plenty left to collect, so may need to coordinate another trip this way some time.
Sunday is here, after a massive day yesterday doing the StARS trails, the Challenge trails, the CITO, Events and Lab caches. Today we decided to head out to try some of the Fire Trail trails and we were not disappointed.
Crossing the leased land and the long dry grass was a bit daunting but we got there in the end. Cache easily located, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the hide billywillysillydilly And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another amazing trip away

Day 10 of our epic 12 day / 10 night trek to the Parkville Mega in Melbourne.
The constant was my travel companions for the entire trip, - Anymules and S.A. Sewer Rats.
We had set up digs in Bealiba for our three night stay. [8)]
Today our target was to cache our way to Bendigo for the challenge caches and some of the puzzles we had solved prior to coming over. [8)]
I have driven past this cache a few times and not known how to access it. Took a couple of tried today as well but found the correct way in for a quick find.

TFTC. In my cycling days I often cycled past Tarnagulla, being ion a time limit there was never enough time to stop. These days life is more relaxed and we take time to walk around. Today being showery, sunny, windy we decided to do a loop out of Maryborough, through Tarnagulla, Llanelly and Newbridge, caxching as we went. It turned out a long trip in duration as we stopped at the General store in new bridge for lunch before returning to Maryborough. Oh! We did manage 5 caches.
Found the access gate but felt strange entering a fenced off area. We did and found the cache without any worry.
