miloryder I found your cache Petrie A1 on 5/7/2023, 3:00 pm. This is my find 5823 and find # 1 today. No problems locating this cache. Ants have made a home in it. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Due to housing development in this area this cache has vanished, so today it has been replaced by an eclipse magnetic tin, containing a log and a pencil only. Now this area is being opened up it may not last long.[ heres hoping]...Same GPS coordinates.

Heading out for a day of caching in a bid to hit a personal goal.
Next up on the list was this one in an attempt to clear some more of the local area. Despite looking quite thoroughly for this one, and sending a message to the CO about the possibility of it missing, geohubby and I sadly came up empty. There are a few clear places this should be located (particularly given the difficulty rating), but alas - no where to be found. Will keep an eye on this and if the CO replaces it I'll come back and check it out.

We weren't sure if the cache would be in the correct place, because when we got to GZ an interesting information sign was all over the place, along with pieces of the car that has obviously driven straight off the end of the road at high speed and pulled it out of the ground, concrete foundations and all. Fortunately though, after reading some of the logs, we found the cache hidden safely away. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC smile 14241 out and about with miss millie geo dog great caches, great day ,good weather, finding a few local caches log book very wet so added new piece of paper in dry clean plastic bag
Thank you, miloryder, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

I was passing this way and had time to pick up one cache and this one looked interesting. I parked not far away and at GZ it was not long before i spotted this cache and then read the sign. Thankyou for taking me to this interesting spot and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Out with 1Minniemoo who is trying not to find too many caches right now, so she was happy to spend a day out in the sunshine with me collecting caches that mostly she had already found.
And what sunshine it was! The first day of spring but it felt like summer!
Last cache for the day, a bonus as we were doing an adventure lab waypoint.

This evening, I headed north for a few errands, and after completing those, I continued along with another stop/Location completing the *Pine Rivers War History* Adventure Lab. A few geocaches were found around Lawnton, before returning home and catching dinner. However, with a few new caches published just in the vicinity that I just was, I decided to return back out, and stop off at a few more geocaches. A nice evening to be out and about.
I made a stop here for the first of the day in completing the Adventure Lab mentioned. It took a little to find, as it was hidden away from the road, and located/buried within mud. The outer container has water inside, but the inner container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks miloryder for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

TFTC. We left Dayboro this morning only to go as far as Pine Rivers Showgrounds. After setting up and lunch I (Hans) went out for a good long walk. Good exercise and 4 caches to show for it.
Quick find.
Quick find.
An Adventure Lab Cache brought us back in this area, and we checked if there are some green dots left. Yes, so we answered the question of the AL and then looked around for this cache. Found it.

I found it near the big stone, it is quite big or at least bigger than a thought, its fun and easy.
I'm on a mission to do two things... spell September this month, and clear out the traditional caches within a 10 km radius of home this year. This cache helps with the both! Given the terrain and difficulty level, I thought it was going to be a great cache to find with my two kids (8 and 11).
I was wrong... the swag in this cache contained, rubbers, $2 and tampons. I've cleared out the inappropriate swag, but it did put a sour note on our caching experience for the day.
Other than that, the cache and log are in ok condition. I've actually stopped here before looking for ALs, but never paused to find this cache. Glad to have it off my map now.
Dipping in a TB while I’m here.

Last time I came here was for a stop on a lab cache. It was the during a big rain storm so whimped out and just collected the lab from the car but made note to come back when it was dry. Today a track in the dry grass lead me to GZ, signed our name and off we go for school pick up. TFTC.
Driving along and had a thought to check for caches. Voila! We were right on top of one. Throw in a history lesson and we got a nice quick cache. TFTC.
Out for a very wet day of caching with nikid1. Our last cache for the day. Ended up here on one of the adventure labs & spotted this trad on the map. Was raining to hard for me to leave the nice dry car but nikid1 was up for the challenge & didn't let some water deter her, looks like a made a great choice of geocaching buddy!

Raining pretty hard now but KerriMG and I are here doing a lab cache, so I decided I really needed to find this even if it is teaming with rain. Walked through the water flowing along the side of the road and entered the long grass. Finally I spied it. Back to the car to dry off. TFTC.
Doing the historical AL around this area and had to stop near the corner. Quick find for this cache and we were on our way. Thanks.
Up and around here caching and stopped to look for this cache. Did not rake long. Signed Log and placed cache where found. TFTC
Driving around learning the history of Petrie and found myself at this cache. A quick find in between passing cars. Thanks for the cache
Walked str8 passed it as GPS wanted me on other side of runway but quickly seen when I turned around TFTC & hx
TFTC. I've lived in pine rivers for 12yrs and never new this grass runway existed. Amazing bit of history.
Great hide and fun to find out the historical significance of the area. Got the glass jar open with a little help from Mr. and signed the new log.
