S27 03.862 E153 07.612
Luckily brother colin's log was (just!) in the last 20 logs as that's all I transfer to the GPS! So here are the coords again for future finders - S27 03.862 E153 07.612. Just a quick note that it is definitely worth changing the coords in the cache listing as well as in the notes! A nice quick find in a lovely spot. The cache is damp but log is still usable. Thanks Voyager44

31-Mar-12
Shouldn't have to look back through logs to find new coords, they should be changed on the host page. Did not know of the changes until we got home and failed twice in the day at the recorded coords.

28-Mar-12
Found it Big Grin

Drove right up to GZ, that always makes life easier Wink

Located cache very quickly and retreated back to the Geovan to sign the log.

Inside, the cache was wet and log was a little damp, but in a nice new bag, thanks to murphsinthesun [^] should be ok, as long as all this rain goes away Twisted

TFTCSLTN

Thanks Voyager44 Smile

A quick find on the way to the island. No tents but there was an Apollo camper parked near GZ. The curtains were drawn. If the van's a rockn don't come a knockn. Yahoo. They had a GPS in the front window. I didn't peer into the back.

Thanks to Voyager44 and clear skies from TeamAstro.

14-Jan-12
I love this area, never been here before and will be coming back with a rod and a book.

14-Jan-12
Great little area for a spot of fishing. But we didn't bring the rods with us today so grabbed the cache quickly after iphone helped with downloading new co-ords.TFTC

10-Jan-12
Weekday, a couple of fishermen more interested in their gear than us, so an easy find. TFTC

Great spot. Had no idea this was there. TFTC and showing us this spot.

04-Jan-12
Found using new coordinates as per log entry. I think you can change actual cache coordinates to make it easier. Can see why you had to move it.

Took: last bug, finger light
Left: suckers, puzzle

02-Jan-12
Wow what a nice little fishing spot! Would never have even thought to go here! New co-ords got us right to it. TFTC.

31-Dec-11
Out with Brother Colin for a big last day of 2011 caching planned on Bribie Island. Ninth cache of the day and we aren't on Bribie yet [:-)].

Good thing Brother Colin had written down amended coordinates, I might have been there a while before reading all the logs. But all is well, cache is safe and happy.

Cheers Voyager44

18-Dec-11
New co- ords didn't help

09-Dec-11
Tried this one 3 times, finally found it... had walked around it 3 times before.

29-Nov-11
Much easier than the last time I tried this one. Helps to have the correct co-ordinates. The ones shown in the logs are correct, not the ones in the notes above.
TFTC

25-Nov-11
Found with help from prior log.

19-Nov-11
This one definitely needs the co-ords updated. Quick find after we switched co-ords. Beautiful little park that Geo-hubby used to fish from as a kid. TFTC.

13-Nov-11
=) like the last finder i used the co-ords that have been unofficially floating around the logs, they worked great, there really was only one option in the area that seemed like the spot, and geo-son 5 had a happy moment finding and retrieving the ''treasure'' TFTC =)

12-Nov-11
Used the S.862 E.612 co-ordinates. This put us close to where the cache was located, but as with the previous log entry, we did have to search a little more broadly.
TNLN.

11-Nov-11
TFTC my GPS told me it was about 5 metres away from where it was

Will check hide and advise. Found cache covered with 3 months of dead vegetation and the log damp. I have removed container temporarily so I can dry it out.

Even with logged new cords. Perhaps the proper cords should be updated

22-Aug-11
I just checked this cache and noticed that there was another DNF so thought I should add another as we could not find anything either.

13-Aug-11
No luck today, even with the co-ords listed in the logs.

If the co-ords have changed, the cache page co-ords should be changed too.

13-Mar-11
Found this one on a trip to bribie so it was the first for the day.

The weather was a little against us but i dont know many cachers that get stopped by a little rain.

10-Mar-11
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 4:00pm. We came here earlier but there were too many muggles about so we came back later and got it this time. TFTC

17-Feb-11
What are the correct co-ordinates? Tried both S27° 03.848 E153° 07.629 and S27° 03.862 E153° 07.612 without finding the cache.

08-Feb-11

Tricky find, lots of ants too, tftc .

06-Dec-10
Found what would be a great hiding hole but would be easily muggled, back to old logs and found new coords, gotcha. It has been raining a fair bit lately I wonder if the new site will flood. Both Team DFL and I stood in a deep puddle retreaving and returning the cache. TFTC

06-Dec-10
Found on second attempt. Muggle parked too near first go

27-Nov-10
After months in the wilderness Conan is back! So time to see the water. Great spot. TNLN TFTC

16-Nov-10
Another on found in the company of Virga13 Geojen & The Hound. Muggles about. Just as well Virga13 had got the Info on this one some days after we did. In the mean time the cache had been relocated to its new hiding place. We found it OK when we reloaded the GPS. TFTC.

16-Nov-10
Found at new location. Much better site than previous obvious place. TFTC

14-Nov-10
Found after changing to new coords. Not sure why these aren't the listed coords, that might confuse some hunters. Lovely spot here. TFTC.

13-Nov-10
Nice spot. I know this was found only a couple of days ago but no luck for me today. I was hoping to make this my 200th log too. Drats. Thanks.

Nup! No! It's gone, me thinks! [xx(] We figured there's only two places at the GZ for a cache and only one place to put a small container that would hold swaps. There was a load of what I would imagine as camouflage material on the ground close to an obvious hide location and I spent a lot of time rummaging around without success. The previous logs didn't suggest that it would be too hard to find so I reckon it's either really well hidden or it's been muggled! I hope it's not the latter otherwise a Geocoin has been lost as well, but I reckon it's now part of a Muggles collection! Sad

18-Oct-10
Hmmm muggles Sad We arrived at GZ in the morning on this one. But there muggles sitting at the table. We aborted and decided to come back on the way back from Bribie. In the afternoon, the way was clear.. except for some clown who had parked his car overlooking GZ. I grabbed my netbook and we meandered over to the table. I checked my emails while Radnoski did the "subtle thing" and got the cache. We signed the log. In between muggles, were returned the beast safely. TFTC Voyager44 Smile

18-Oct-10
Fangsoki and I both had a day off work and decided to head for Bribie Island for what we will call "Mugglefest 2010".

This spot certainly was muggle central today. On our first visit I worked out exactly where the cache was hidden but two muggles had set up for a picnic so close that there was no subtle way of retrieving the cache.

We decided to try again on the way back. There was no one near the GZ but there was a guy sitting in a ute staring right at the GZ. With the help of Fangsoki we took up residence on the table and waited for a chance to grab the container.

I did the whole "let's photograph everything" (birds/water/sign) trick and grabbed the cache while passing by. We signed the log and returned the cache between passing muggles.

05-Sep-10
A trip to Sandstone point wouldn't be complete without a cache.

Near GZ, there were 3 cars - one family set up for a picnic and 2 other sole occupant vehicles.

One left while we were reading the plaques - 8 children and she died at 40- no wonder.

The other vehicle wasn't budging so bee2 ran some cover while we retrieved the cache.

Its been found by non believers - "...stupid game." they write. Looks like they may souvenired the geocoin.

25-Aug-10
Quick find at 1000 on my way to Bribie to walk the tracks and beaches for three of the four that can be easilly done with a 4WD. Found this one quickly. No mugglea about. Nice little park and well maintained. TNLNSL TFTC

22-Aug-10
We found this one today on our way to Bribie to get a few more treasures. Had to wait for some muggles to set up their fishing gear before moving in for the kill. Nice hide. Took geonanna pathtag, left hudson green g.c.

11-Aug-10
Very happy to have an FTF with this cache! I enjoyed reading the plaque on the monument in this picturesque area and enjoyed even more finding the cache. Good hide. Thanks Voyager44. Took geocaching pin and left pathtag.

11-Aug-10
Wasn't quick enough off the mark this morning to beat Geonanna, but a good excuse to head out to Bribie anyway. Must have been morning tea time, given the cars parked, but there wasn't anyone fishing! The cache was easily located in the obvious spot. TFTC Voyager44
