After a nudge from the CO I had this one in the solved basket. I was lucky enough to find a nearby parking spot as the local footy match finished earlier today. Quickly found the cache was then faced with a problem that the cache was waterlogged and log unusable. I didnt have a spare log with me. Took a couple of photographs of the cache which Ive sent to the CO as proof of my attendance at GZ & locating the cache. Thanks for the puzzle and cache @col117 !!
Cache host found and lots of noise under food to scare away and cold blooded slithery things. See photo
Out and about again, able to nab a couple of caches.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Out for a night of geocaching in the Morley and midland area with Meme28 and Geotrakka.
All caches found this cache needs attention. Log wet and container damaged.

Out and about caching with ICNothing and geotrakka. Cache found and logged. Cheers!
After receiving a nudge we finally managed to solve this clever puzzle.
As previously mentioned the cache could do with some TLC.
TFTC col117 this is find #13104 for us.

Solved the puzzle after pursuing a likely theory and made the find the following day.
I must unfortunately report that the cache is damaged and requires maintenance (the container was found separated from its upright support with a detatched lid and water damaged log sheet).

With the 5-day COVID-19 lockdown, meaning working from home and one hour of exercise per day within a 5km radius of your home, I set about looking at some blue dots on my map which I have left unexamined for years. I managed to solve a total of six within a 10km radius, but many others were outside of my area of understanding. This cache was one of these. I approached the puzzle from a good number of angles but failed to find the link. I resorted to a number of PAFs to get some direction as to how to solve it, however none of the previous finders actually knew or remembered... so to be upfront, I was generously given the answer. I'd still love to know what the magic link is... Cache was found without too much issue during my one hour of exercise however the cache has come away from its host and the logbook - whilst dry now - has obviously been very wet during the winter months and so the paper id extremely brittle. I'd suggest the next cacher bring a new logbook and bag with them, and perhaps even a new micro container. TFTC
Drove over to hopefully pick up a few caches by bike. Absolutely soaked by the time we had the second cache in hand, so decided to give up and ride back to the car! A very short trip with just 4 finds. This was the last one and it sealed the deal - we were ridiculously wet and cold now. Trudging around in long wet grass, we eventually found a bit of cover to double check our co-ords were right as it didn't look promising. As soon as we got the green light from the checker Mr O saw the cache from a different angle! It is in two parts but can be re-assembled to look kind of ok. Good camo and puzzle, TFTC col117!
Cache found out in open and exposed. It has come away from it's mount and the log bag isn t waterproof. I didn't have anything with me to fix so will need a CO check. TFTC col117!
A quick find whilst in the area. Thanks col117.
Nice puzzle and a very neat final.

Find #257 of 365 streak. Fours years between attempts here. I think this was one of the first mysteries I ever solved. My first search failed in 2014. Today I was back. With more experienced eyes I quickly spotted the hide. TFTC and finally I can tick this one off.
Solved awhile ago and we were out here today while one of the geosons was playing cricket. It was a timely find as we managed to get our souvenir. Tftc
Decided to head out early to beat the rain that was supposedly going to happen about lunchtime. Mr weather man got it very wrong as I got soaked at just about every cache I went to. This was another cache that was solved a while ago and today was the day to finally find it. It took me a few minutes of walking around in circles to finally spot the cache TFTC col117
After solving this puzzle and armed with the correct coordinates we headed out with neva2old and Dkla.vk. to claim the smiley for a quick find before this thing called work got in our way. A clever hide here TFTC
Solved this puzzle on the weekend and as this puzzle was the closest to home came out to grab today’s smilie with parkacruz and Dkla.vk. So glad I had another set of hands to help with the littlies to get back over the fence. The cache has come away from its host and the log is a little damp but still writable TFTC
Solved this puzzle quickly after being familiar with the tunes... That was a couple of years ago now, but today whilst passing through the area finding a few caches we stopped have a look for the cache After circling around GZ, I soon spotted something that needed closer inspection& sure enough the prize was to hand!
TFTC coll117 [^] The cache was found on the ground & I have reattached to the camo, but it may need a bit of luvin

I was in the area this arvo and decided to revisit this DNF of mine from over a year ago. After spending some time at one particular object I expanded my search area a little. Spotted something that required closer inspection and was surprised to uncover the cache, looked down at the GPSr and it was showing zero meters.
A very clever cache construction here although it's looking a little worse for wear, should still be good for a while though.
col117 I found your cache at 4:52pm, this was the 2nd of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 3074. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

I remember seeing this puzzle months ago and seeing the theme quite quickly, but never actually did the research to solve it. I had two potential approaches in mind and the second turned out to be correct, according to GeoChecker (And common sense check on google). After torturing GeoSister to solve it herself (Which she did manage), it was time to head out.
This Cache is still in place, and a clever little hide it was. I spotted it instantly - much to Geosister's chagrin as she had hoped to find it - but I honestly didn't expect it to be the cache until I reached for it! Unfortunately my pen decided not to work so we marked the cache using a nearby wooden stake .
Log is full by the way, I wrote on the back of some paper that another cacher had obviously added.
All in all, a great little puzzle and wander. TFTC Col!

I was in the area and realised that I had this solved so decided to see if I could come and grab it. Arrived at GZ and after getting pocked in the ear more than once by the grass tree I had to move on.
On reading some logs now it seems I may have been searching in the wrong spot, I will be back one day.

Solved the puzzle months ago but didn't get round to looking. Had a good look but no dice. Another day.
Needed a bit of a nudge to find the direction to head to solve the puzzle, then it was plain sailing, and today was in the area to seek it out.
On way to do some babysitting duties, but left a bit early to grab this one, & even though the rain was tumbling down made my way to GZ. Looked about a bit but spotted something needing investigating and found the cache. Clever hide! However there is a bit of maintenance required to reconnect the lid.
Thanks for the puzzle and the hunt col117. Excellent one for a first effort!

Solved this puzzle soon after it was published but had not the opportunity to get to the area to search for it. Out on a caching foray around the Swan Valley and surrounds today so it was the perfect opportunity to get that smiley. A very nice camo job.
Miss Chocoholic and I also decided to come by this Cache today on a Mini Puzzle
run to fill an hour or two of the school holidays !!!!
On arrival, I looked at the Grass Trees and gave a little curse... but at GZ
found a much cleverer hide.... well actually Miss Chocoholic found it !!!
Cheers for the puzzle and the clever little camo Cache.

The Machman and I came looking for this Cache today together as it was the school holidays.
I did not understand the puzzle at all but dad had already solved it, so we knew where to go looking.
When we got there Dad started moaning about the grass trees (he hates looking under them), when I spotted something out of the ordinary and realised it was the Cache.
Great one.

Excellent neat camo - like this style. Badluck I couldn't hear the beat oops... Signed the log. Thanks col117.
Out to do some frog hunting today (GCA) , the 1st Anniversary of us learning of Geocaching.
Now after my failure the other day, turning up in sandals.. Doh!
I wasn't going to make that mistake again. I can honestly say now that I was probably less than 2 metres from the cache. Today in sneakers I bravely [:o)] padded through the leaf litter to retrieve the cache. I was initially thinking glad I've got my stick to poke around, but then the cache leapt out at me!
Well I may not understand puzzles, but that is a great cache Col... Excellent, but don't go giving any more ideas to Mr Felix [B)] A fave from us on our GeoAnniversary, huh! a fave for a puzzle, what is the world coming too!

Mrs Felix was supposedly home all day doing jobs and shopping. By lunch time that was driving me nuts so I decided to duck out and grab a few caches before being at an appointment.
Yep dressed for appointment not caching. Dressy sandals and sand, not a great combination. Got within 10 metres of the cache and abandoned it for another day. Ankle deep in leaf litter, was way too scary this time of year [xx(]
I do believe that I have found another of your caches here though Col.

Rode around the area trying to find the closest non bush access to the cache. Eventually made a poor choice; wish I'd jumped the fence. Was cursing the prospect of having to seach grass trees when I spotted the very clever cache. Thanks for the cache col117.
Well, this took me a year to work out (off and on again), but in the end col117 had to give a tiny hint. It clicked straight away - being a big fan. I feel like a cheat, but it was still very satisfying collecting it after so long. Thanks Col.
Watch out Frenzal, your next!

After completing our research we were sure that we had the correct coordinates, but no. so we tried to think outside the box but still no luck. In the end we had to resort to asking for a hint. Thanx col117 for a great puzzle and, in the end, a quick find. TFTPH&C and the tip off to look for a nearby GCA cache.
Solved the puzzle a few months ago after a few different methods of attack. Dropped by after work and managed to get a few caches in the area in about five minutes. Nice to be out caching in the rain again and the bush here was particularly lovely to meander through in this sort of weather. Quite a few muggles around on the field but they were all preoccupied. Spotted the cache from a short distance away. TFTC and the puzzle!
Finished work early for a spot of caching, this was first on the list. Spent a few minutes look where I thought it would be then turned around and spotted it nearby. TFTC & puzzle
This was a fairly easy find once at GZ but we couldn't locate Gnignox Gnatalis which was our main mission today! Thanks for the cache col117, nice sunny little spot today
No sooner had I located the cache than somebody arrived and sat in their car 5m away,so it was a quick sign and return the cache to it's hiding place.
It actually took longer to solve the puzzle (even with help from the CO ) than it did to ride the geobike here and back home again

A run into sno seeker provided us the key information to the where abouts of this cache (which was good as the Mrs had failed to solve thus far). nice quick find at GZ.

What a great first cache. Good puzzle and a fun hide. Thanks col117 - keep them coming
Found the cache with Shael. Well done on the container, would never guess at a quick look. TFTC
Ahh its always good when a solved puzzle cache leads to a find. Solved the puzzle after a hint from the owner that made me go "doh" as I should have known better. Enjoyed some music as i soved the puzzle got the green tick and after a short trek we had the cache in hand. And what a cleverly constructed cache as well. It blends in like it shoud to.
Thanks for the puzzle Col117 i really enjoyed this one.

Thanks so much for the puzzle and a really great hide!! It is in a beautiful spot too. We waited on the path and let the Kat do the searching ..... because we thought it best not to charge in together and trample on everything ...... (Kat's are good at prowling .... and so careful too .... ) Geo-Hero, as usual found some plants to study ...... But what a lovely surprise it was to finally find the cache .... as we didn't look at the clue and weren't expecting what we saw!! Great camo
Solved by Xinders and found by myself, both the cache and the puzzle have been very well constructed. I enjoyed the hunt. Had no idea of what to look for because I hadn't read the details. I only came here with the co-ordinates. What a great place this is for the cache. TFTH!

Wow! This is in a great spot! Xinder's solved the puzzle and the Kat found the cache. I was in on all the action and really enjoyed walking through the trail. TFTC!!
The worst thing about a new puzzle cache being published 3km from your house is the fact it was published just as I was getting on a plane to Brisbane! Back now and managed to stop in this afternoon for a quick find. Nice hide! Thanks for the puzzle & the cache.
[A nice puzzle and an easy find. I was surprised to be the STF considering at least five others appear to have solved the puzzle. TFTH.]
Surprisingly the paint was still wet!

Soooo glad to get this *FTF* @ 9:15pm
Being right on my doorstep an all!
Especially with other rampant cachers in the area....I'm talking to your R0gue!
And it's nice to see a cache without a FTF from Chwilir!!!
Great cache for a first effort.
Solved the puzzle first go (which makes a change!)
However at GZ I was scratching my head and thinking at the coordinates were off.
After a few minutes I expanded my search and bingo!
I thought is it?.....no surely not!....well bugger me so it is!!
Very impressive. Looking forward to more from you col117!

(Oh and I dropped my sharpie at GZ so had to signed with a thick texta with no ink....awesome!)
