As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. The name said it all. Should have read the logs before I walked in. Found the remains including some swaps but no container and no log book. Time for it to go if the CO is not able to fix it.

03-Mar-13
This cache causes me serious concern as there is a horizontal rope running from the tree where the cache should be, to a tree about 10m away.

It poses a hazard to both humans and wildlife and would NOT be approved for a Conservation Park geocache placement.

The logs below suggest that the CO is MIA.

03-Mar-13
Sorry to say that all I found was a plastic bag shoved into a tree hollow. There is NO logbook in the bag but a few swaps.

TFTC geoweissau... no longer around?

28-Dec-12
I was out exploring on my mountain bike today.
Stopped here to search for this cache - took me a little while as I am still getting used to the phone software, but I found the zip lock bag mentioned below.
Looks like it would have been a fun cache to find in its original state - when/if fixed, I shall have to return.

Thanks geoweissau

28-Dec-12
Looks like owner hasn't logged in for over 2 years.
If there is no response, maybe a previous finder who knows how this was hidden can help?

16-Dec-12
The owner needs to replace cache as what appears to have been the cache, was smashed all over the ground. Dark llama and I picked up all the pieces of broken glass and placed all what looked like what was the swaps, in the base of the tree.

16-Dec-12
CITO not sure how this one worked. When we got to GZ there was a broken glass bottle that may have been the cache on the ground. Cleaned up the glass put all the swaps and log in the tree.

16-Dec-12
See my previous log. Glass cache needs to be replaced.

08-Dec-12
So good! Was dubious about the bush trek in thongs but it wasn't that difficult and a really rewarding find. Very thoughtful setup and the work put in is much appreciated. Getting a little damp in the cache but heaps of cool things to swap so bring a trinket. Highly recommended.

Do yourself a favour, go in the short way. TFTC TNLN

25-Nov-12
Nicely done! Such a fun find! Thanks geoweissau. Smile

11-Nov-12
After attending a birthday party, ayepeacee and i decided to find a cache nearby, away from our usual territory. This looked fun, so after a suspiciously illegal u-turn we parked close by. Ayepeacees device sent us the wrong way and even though id said we were going the wrong way it wasnt until ayepeacee said 'my gpsr is sending us the wrong way' that we were going the right way. Then.. oh, hey, look, said ayepeacee. Maybe i should learn to look in such places! There was the cache. We signed the logbook and were on our way. Cache is getting a little condensation inside but otherwise ok. I love your idea and the name. TFTC ^^

11-Nov-12
=) Found with Brightskies today, gps had me going around in a big circle but then back into the bush to find a GZ. Container has moisture inside it TFTC =)

24-Oct-12
Had just picked up my hard bound PhD thesis and was heading to hand it in at Griffith when we ducked in to grab this one. This is definitely a neat cache. Not a hard one to find as you just walk in and it's there but it's neat to have to lower it down and open it up. I've never seen one like this before. Great idea Geoweissau.

22-Oct-12
Do it ! We walked straight through the bush but there is a track

15-Sep-12
Literally walked into this one! First time i've ever seen one of these before! Has a little bit of moisture inside it but everything is still intact!

27-Aug-12
Great cache! I always like this style of hide.
As Feathertop said is was torches at three paces for this one, so it had us stumped for a while.
But we eventually eased our way into it.
Thanks, Robmc.

27-Aug-12
# 1020. As it was now dark and my knees had already decided that I had done enough for the day I let the other two wander into the bush and pop my name in for me. They came back telling me it was a pity I missed seeing it as it was a good hide. TFTC

27-Aug-12
Robmc and I walked in here after dark in a bid to finsh the day with an even 50 caches. At night by torchlight you lose some of your peripheral vision so this one had us foxed for a while.
The mechanism to retrieve cache is still working well.
No swaps made.
Thanks for a good one geoweissau

21-Aug-12
I have found a few hides like this before, however I also am not a fan of glass containers, and apart from the safety aspect, this one was visible from afar, and when I first spied it, it looked like a jar of lollies

tftc ...[^]... geoweissau

Grabbing a few caches after dropping my car off with An Old Hag.

Can't say I'm a fan of glass anywhere less alone in the bush.

Quick stop on way home from today's event - have driven past here numerous times but never had time to stop so decided today was the day...

Parked just up road from bus stop & headed in....

GPS took me straight to GZ and quickly it all fell into place Wink

Thanks geoweissau for the cache [^]

Walked right round this one with the GPS having a moment. The new container is working well. Took the geocoin. Did not notice the other TB though ;-/ Nice one.

14-Jun-12
Was a bit let down to see that this may be damaged when I went to attempt it, however it appears the owner has recently performed maintenance on it. At GZ I looked around and noticed the cache. It became clear how I was to retrieve, so I trod off to the other tree and did what I needed to. Opening the cache, there was no sign of the TB, so I put one in of my own. There was also no log to sign, luckily I carry around a few spare micro logs, one I left with Homer after signing.

11-Apr-12

TFTC:)

Last find for the day... only had time for a few today.... nice easy find... just happened to walk past the right thing at the right time Smile Container is broken unfortunately and needs attention... only 1 of the clips are left on so its not able to be replaced the way it is meant to be Sad Everything is still dry inside but with only 1 clip working its only a matter of time before its drenched in there too....

thanks for the hide... very clever Smile

took TB to move along

09-Mar-12
Interesting idea, phone wouldn't settle but found it in the end nice as mentioned clips are becomming cracked. TFTC

25-Jan-12
Nice one! Appreciated the handy knot by the co. Have seen one of these before, so knew what to expect, but this one is nicely executed. Loved the first log! XN, SL, tftc, 768.

Out for a big day on the geobike today. Smile

I parked the bike against the bus stop and promptly got beeped at by a passing 'cacher'. Smile Well I hope it was a passing cacher. LOL

A great little cache.

I have to agree with Wingaap as to the state of this cache. A little TLC and it will last awhile longer.

29-Dec-11
I had a fair idea of what to expect at this one given I've encountered a few before. That aside it was nicely done.

The cache container is showing signs of wear. One clip is missing and there is a crack on another....not sure how much longer this will last.

Still the contents were dry if not a little musty.

Thanks geoweissau ....good effort Smile

29-Dec-11
This clever one is worth finding well done guys and if that was your first im looking ford to the next. worth a favourite left rabbit SL TFTC cheers

14-Dec-11
Good name

16-Oct-11
Parked across the road this afternoon and headed straight in past the bus-stop.
I had a pretty good idea of what to expect, given the title, and having come across a couple of these in different parts of Brisbane now. What I liked about this one was the 'idiot-proof' set up which means even clumsy people like me should be able to get in and out without destroying anything.
Very well stocked cache and all was good inside. Grabbed Mirror TB, left Ploegie (the Dutch Wonder Chicken) who I found in Spring Hill recently. (No sign of Kitty Cat TB as far as I could tell.)
Looking forward to your next cache already! Thanks geoweissau.

6 Favourites eh? How bout we make it 7? Big Grin

I was in the area - so I decided to look in on this one. I really can't fathom why I haven't done it earlier.

I parked up and made my way - being careful what I stepped on - less it be snake that might be brown! I got to GZ and checked the immediate areas. Widened my search a little to find the clever cache. Retrieval was simple and well-designed. I popped in a trackable that I have had for waaaayyy too long. The cache is in good condition - one of the cliplocks seems to be broken but is not affecting the cache.

Good job geoweissau - not bad for a first effort. TFTC Smile

20-Sep-11
Like most of the other finders I suspect, wandered straight past this one, then in ever increasing circles Red Face until the penny dropped as it were. A very innovative cache, and a great first hide. No swaps today, but TFTC.

17-Sep-11
Wow...this was so cool to find! Cool
Never seen one of these before...a big thumbs up for the effort put in to setting up this cache...the highlight of our day today.
Even teenage daughter thought it was cool...and she's pretty hard to please Big Grin
Took 2 super balls...left a golf ball.
TB was not present

11-Sep-11
Been looking forward to finding this one, took the opportunity to belt down my fav track in TF to get to GZ. TFTC SL

27-Aug-11
Awesome awesome hide! I really liked this cache, probably the best hide i've found in my short history. good work to geoweissau! Easy find. TNLN SL.

31-Jul-11
Found a spot to park...Mr Bushies2 went out there by himself while I waited in the car with our dog...he spotted it quickly, clever hide, you get a favourite point from us. Thanks geoweissau.

29-Jul-11
Have seen this one was quite popular, so was keen to see what it was all about.

Approaching GZ I spotted it almost immediatly... ah yes, that all makes sense now.

Great bit of thought has gone into this one!! thanks geoweissau

03-Jul-11
Found with trusty hound , great spot loved the name ! Trackable is not in it

23-Jun-11
A nice simple cache-you are right it is not the only one of it's type but one of the best stocked.

A nice easy find after battling our way through the brush with the 2 Geopups. TFTC TNLN.

28-May-11
Awesome cache - first of this kind. Stopped to enjoy the scenery and played a game of connect 4 with the kids. Great stuff. Dropped off kitty trackable.

Found at 1022. Marg sat this one out. Found quickly but What the ????, umm some rethinking and some retracting. Cache OK and dry. TFTC.

27-Feb-11
Found this one on a fun Sunday morning of caching with sniffme. Thanks for a really awesome cache. We really loved this one.

27-Feb-11
what a great hide got it with krelworld

17-Feb-11
Quick but fun find! Big Grin
Spotted the object, which wasn't a let down at all. Man is it full of swaps and such... hard to re-close the lid!
The little creek was pretty easily crossed today and there's defiantly a geotrack through to GZ now.
Nice work and thanks!

07-Feb-11
My first find. Went with my brothers and we found it pretty quickly. Interesting way of hiding it Smile Great hunt.

22-Jan-11
This was a great hide! Going with hiphipsueray who was dressed up in suit and tie and pouring rain. Darth trader and I had a good old laugh! Great cache idea. Tftc

21-Jan-11
found this no worries ground is very soft at the moment but easy find.

Thanks geoweissau.
TFTC.

20-Jan-11
This is a cool cache and something a little different. It was easy to find and easy to get and full of things. The road is quite busy so would be tricky with children in the car. TFTC

06-Jan-11
I passed through town for one night and my fellow interstate geocaching buddies Hiphipsueray and Gazamataz took me out for a couple of caches in the damp damp Queensland weather. This was one of them.
I was impressed. It was quite a sludge in and Hiphipsueray was in his suit pants and tie ( see picture ) and Gazamataz got a squirt of mud from his thongs right up his backside making it look like he'd ... But we found the cache ok but then we had to solve a puzzle to retrieve it, requiring a bit more of a sludge around. TFTC I will be awarding this cache one of my new favorite points as I really enjoyed it. I left a pathtag and signed the log. Thanks again.
- iPhone log.

06-Jan-11
Found with Gazamataz and Darth Trader. Great hide, but not recommended in the rain wearing office clothes...oh well! TNLN TFTC.

04-Jan-11
A nicely placed cache. We bush bashed our way to this cache after being to the final leg of Lock at the Lookout!. A nice bit of scrub. The geodog loves this type of walk. Took TB to find a new home. Left heaps of goodies. the cache is getting pretty full.
TFTC

05-Dec-10
I happenned to stroll past the "essential" element for this cache before I actually hit GZ... Wink That was handy I guess as I was able to spot the container that I otherwise may have missed for a while... Surprised I dropped in a TB to enjoy the area...

Nicely set up geoweissau, cheers... [^]

28-Nov-10
Found with Bedmaker. What a cool cache! Bedmaker was able to spot it from a distance. Very nice indeed. TFTC

28-Nov-10
Found this one with TassieGirl13, on approach to GZ I spied it from a little ways off.
Nifty idea for a cache and something a bit different from the norm.
TFTC.

27-Nov-10
Took coin left party poppers, TFTC!

24-Nov-10
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 9:09am. We had to wait until some muggles caught their bus and left before we went for the cache. We could see this cache from several metres off but it is better hidden now. In: Geocoin. TFTC

23-Nov-10
Loved this one, had been thinking of a similar concept myself. Don't recall the pink piece of paper, but read the escription after I found it.

Very cool cache indeed. TFTC

BTW, needs some maintenance, it looks like the mechanism has come free from one of the loops. I left it looped through a small tree for now.

05-Nov-10
I love this type of cache specially the ones held by fishing line awsome cache in an excellent spot happy hunting all

10-Oct-10
When I parked the geomobile around the corner in the park it was only drizzling Smile
In the time it took to stroll the 300 odd metres to the bus stop the heavens were letting a bit more down [:o]
So I ran along the trail to GZ, splashing through the muddy bits Razz
The cache name had already suggested a possible hiding method and when I saw the cache almost straight away I did not feel let down at all Big Grin
I strolled to another place and thats when the let down happened [:o]
Oh well.... I will sign the log book anyway Wink

TFTC.

03-Oct-10
Nice one! I've toyed with this idea but had not considered using more than one tree. Great to see something different. TFTC.

14-Sep-10
Great cache!!! First cache of this kind I have found. Love your work:)

10-Sep-10
Look amazeing ... good hide well.......

17-Aug-10
Got a call from RhesusFactor asking if I wanted to go caching today and well, here we are.... What an ingenious way of getting the cache. Well Done... TFTC. TNLN

17-Aug-10
Out caching with Patrol14. this one was very amusing. the GPS strung me along for a bit but eventually my spirits were hoisted when i spotted the cache.

11-Aug-10
We called in today to be let down, but were bouyed by the effort you've put in. Congratulations on a job well done [^]. Sadly though, most of last night's rain found it's way into the cache through the handle holes Sad. We tipped out 2cm of water and while most things are easily dried, the logbook will need a good dose of love and attention. TN/LN.

Our last cache for us this afternoon before going out for dinner for my birthday. Geo-husband has been thinking of this type of arrangement for some time now.....and you have beaten him to it!! TFTC. I hope you can dry it out okay.

11-Aug-10
We decided to do this one on the way home. We spotted the cache from a few metres away and realised what was up.

TFTC

10-Aug-10
Found it No. 2984 ... nice hide ... left Geocoin and took Geocoin TFTC

10-Aug-10
I was let down when I found I couldn't turn right at the nearby intersection and had to go another km before I could turn around.

I was uplifted when I parked the car as the rain had stopped momentarily.

I was let down again when I saw what appeared to be a geotrail to follow. It looked like I was following an army through the bush.

I was uplifted again when I found the cache easily.

I was let down again when I couldn't retrieve it.

I was definitely uplifted when I finally opened the cache and found an empty log book for a *FTF*.

Thanks for a great cache. I had been looking at this bit of bushland and wondering why there wasn't a cache in here. TNLN.

Definitely one for the *recommended* tag.
