Looks like the construction work will have a long term impact on the GZ site so archiving the cache looks like the only option at present.

watch out for glass on the ground!!!Survey workers just 10m away were so intent on their theodilite work that they didn't see me approach GZ or sign and replace the cache.
Seemed a pretty obvious place to look but like the previous nothing to see today.
Following a short diversion I soon had this cache in hand and on my way north once again

Had a bit of trouble getting both the GPSrs to behave - hadn't read the bit in the cache description about the dodgy reception. Maybe the buzz was affecting the needles.

Original container awol.Two of us searched whole area of the stand of trees around the concrete bases. Looked high, low, under and over, in and out - no luck. Second time back as we only live about 10 minute walk away, so we had plently of time to search.
Searched for a good 20 mins using two sets of eyes and not a thing.. Nada.. Zilch... Will wait for owner to check or anoter find, but unless its really well hidden I doubt its still there...
Suntu found this one very quickly - the rest of us were still trying to decide where to look - he has the nose. Like it! TFTC

Quick find. A famly of Californian Quail were out on the grass while I was there. TFTC
Co-ords seemed to be about 10 m out. Found cache lying on the ground. Might be better with bigger container in this area. TFTC
Found thee 4 blocks but the coordinates had me needing to hop the fence into the substation grounds. Left it for another day
cool camo. Had mum with us today and she found it so it was even better as she was quite surprised and pleased with herself.
Again, another place I had no idea existed. Great cache; well camoed!

Good views of the substation in the distant. There were some workers over there, so good thing we were over here hidden under the shade of trees, away from muggles. Nice hide. TFTC.

Brucewnnz had his hand on the cache without realising it, before the penny dropped. Shared find as team “Lost and Loster” (Skindo, Brucewwnz and SAROC) while partaking in Asssemblage de College, Kapiti Coast caching event. TFTC. TFTE
A quick find with boxhill, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees as part of the day's event cache. I went straight to the place, picked up the object holding the cache and didn't see it as it was on the opposite side from me - however boxhill was standing in the right place to spot it as I lifted it. Nicely hidden. Signed log, TFTC.

For the second time today, I had a cache in my hand without immediately realising it. Another event find for Team Lost and Loster just ahead of simpsonsrgr8.
