That was a cool hide! Nice one for the minis and we walked straight to it (which is always a nice accomplishment!). Thanks for the effort that goes into these types of hides.
Found with doggo. My boy is playing football nearby and I decided to wander over to this cache. A very sneaky hide but managed to spot it quickly. A beautiful day for caching. TFTC
Nice hide! we first went down the wrong road because as others have said, coords were also quite a bit off. Also we had map switched to satellite so couldn't see the track. Anyways when we were in the right place it was a nice find. TFTC
After attending an event this afternoon at Paraparaumu we had time to collect a few local caches. This was a quiet walk with no muggles around, so plenty of time to look for something that fitted in with its surroundings so well. Soon the log was signed and the cache returned to its hiding place. A great cache and a favourite from us. Thanks for the smiley
I forgot to bring a pen. Rookie mistake. And so is not reading the description. This is my third try. The description is so much more helpful than the coordinates, which are somewhat off.I'll write on the log next time I am passing.
Well that just blended right in, great little cache, gets a fav point from me, tftc bkj97
Quick find on a walk after coffee. Coordinates seem a bit off but eagle eyes prevailed. All good at GZ and TFTC.
After noticing the coordinates were appearing in a neighbouring property on my map and reading previous logs I decided to focus on the hint. It wasn’t long until I noticed something different. And yes, the cache was there. Favourite for the hiding place.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache bkj97.

What a 'goodie', especially because we were searching in the dark with torches. A previous log helped us zone into gz as our coords were a little out. Both of us pondered on same object, hmmm a little something needed further investigation. Muggles mum was onto it! A favourite point from me. TFTC
A nice quiet evening for a search… found the well crafted hide on my second careful pass. TFTC bkj97
Clever hide, took a few minutes of walking up and down to notice the likely spot.
No luck today. Didn't want to hang around for too long. Will try again later.
A nice quick find, thanks to previous logs about the GPS being off. ’s caching senses had this in our hands in seconds. TFTC. KTG
Super quick find with KTG.... the co-ordinates seem to be about 10m off and is pointing to the corner of the house adjacent to the cache. Clearly got the caching eye in tune today. Because this is 2/2 found so far today from a Mike off. Lol. TFTC
Missed this on the first pass, but then took a moment to evaluate further, really cool hide don't want to comment further in case I give anything away, but go on then have a FP, cheers
took me a solid hour and the help from another geocacher to actually find it. kind of obvious now that i know where it is, but its a great find.
With a somewhat cheeky non-hint one hopes that the coords will be accurate however I found that not to be the case with the GPS pointing well into the neighbouring property. So with cache sense being the only remaining "tool" the first scan inevitably turned up nothing. But I had no idea what I was looking for except for the hint provided by the cache size. On a second pass I considered different options and I shortly saw something out of place. I wasn't too surprised to find the cache after that. It's always great to find caches like this and luckily the area was quiet enough today not to be muggled. TFTC.
After unsuccessfully searching for this one earlier in the year, it was good to come back and turn blue to yellow. Most of the obscuring ivy has been removed, making the search easier. A clever hide, tftc!
Saw that this had been replaced, so a quick grab after school. Nice hide.
Thanks!
Thanks!
After school mission. Even though there has been plenty of DNF’s on this one, we thought we’d check it out anyway. We searched for about half an hour. If it’s there, it is either extremely well hidden, or we are extremely blind!
Cheers
Cheers
I was about to add this to a list to check out today but with all the DNFs it appears it needs to be checked.
This one’s a dnf for me. The area I checked seemed to have a large amount of ivy growth. The coordinates seem to be a little off, so it could be that I was looking at the wrong area.
A DNF from me although I'm fairly certain I found GZ (will email spoiler pics separately).
I quickly spotted something that just didn't look quiet right. A very clever and well made cache - well done! No muggles on the walkway while I visited GZ.

I came up the coast today to boost my numbers for September.
I had thought about this one for a quick park n grab on other occasions, but it was certainly tougher than that! After a bit of a wander up and down, inspecting various objects, I put my hand upon a certain object and revealed the cache. Very, very sneaky - really blends in well. Signed and replaced. All good here. TFTC

Today had been forecast to bit a bit wet, but when I woke it looked as if any rain might hold off for a few hours so I reckoned that was a good enough reason to jump in the car and come down to Paraparaumu to try to boost my numbers for September!
I've been slowly chipping away over the last couple of years at the large number of available caches in and around Paraparaumu, and there are a lot less available to me now. But I still have a few to go, and was hoping to grab the last few Trads available to me around here.
There were a few other people walking dogs etc, but not many to be a bother when looking for the cache. When I got to GZ, I was able to spot the cache fairly quickly as I have seen a few now of a similar Ilk. A nicely constructed Hide, well executed and worthy of a FP from me.
Thanks for placing this cache.

A nice hide, well camouflaged but fairly easy to spot. Al safe and dry, although no lid on the container. TFTC.
Decided we needed to get out for some fresh air so earmarked a few local caches that we could pick up. I spotted something a bit out of place and soon had the cache found. Stamped and returned as found. The lid is missing. TFTC
#818. My campervan was stolen a week ago from quite near to where this cache is hidden, and I have tramped along Matai Road and side streets dropping leaflets in letterboxes. The Police have been notified and an article may appear in Stuff shortly. There are some lowlifes around!
Found after a short search at 2.30pm, nice hide. Tftc bkj97.

Such a cool hiding place . Didn't take too long but I think it was a bit of a fluke!!
A nice hide and clever use of the location. Thanks bkj97 for the cache and a fav point for us.
Day Ten of a 12 day, 3000 km road trip around the North Island with the primary objectives being the Taupo Ultra Marathon on the 13th and my first ever caching Mega event in Wellington on the weekend of 20th & 21st. With thousands of possibilities for caches to look for on the way, I had to be very selective and decided to concentrate on special types, solved puzzles, ones that would fill missing spots in my statistics grids and those with good numbers of favourite points, plus maybe a few extras that were close by those.
Today was the second Mega event day and after attending the Kevin Anderson pilgrimage event and finding the oldest NZ cache, plus the remaining lab caches, we headed north to Kapiti to catch up with our daughter. Another nice day today and still no sign of any rain to interfere with caching activities. An amazing streak of weather.
I needed eighteen more caches further than 500 kms from home for the so far away challenge, so set out on a local mission to try and get them in the two hours before our dinner appointment. Next up was this one. After going down the walkway and then stopping to look, I was surprised to hear a loud voice from across the stream, "If you are looking for the cache, it's further along, that way." With this extra pointer, the cleverly concealed cache was quickly found in hint location, log signed and returned safe and secure, ready for the next finder. TFTC

Down in the Capital for an extra long weekend before exams start, with Jag50, Merlot58 & Bertie Blowfish. Thought this might take a bit of searching, however, the cache wasn't put back the same way, so it stood out like a sore thumb. Could have been quite difficult.
Quick find by Merlot - because it had been put back in the wrong way. Nice camo though!
With a group of fellow west Aucklanders Merlot58, Aiden29 and Bertie Blowfish To attend the MEGA and for a fun long Labour weekend’s caching. Thanks to all the cache owners for setting up and maintaining the caches. Sorry for cut and paste logs. Quick easy find
I’m in the Windy City to attend the Wellington Mega with a few fellow Westies from Auckland. We’re having a great time as we explore the area collecting smileys as we go. Thanks for bringing us here, sorry for the copy and paste logs but am using a Cachly template to log as I go.
Very quick find as the ‘cover’ had been put back the wrong way so it was obvious where the cache was

Found easily with help from Frances.
All quiet on a Tuesday morning.
Cache is dry, but lid & plastic bag missing. I didn’t have spares to hand.
Thanks

Thanks for the clever cache bkj97
It is another miserable day weather-wise but at least that means less muggles ...and finding a cache or two makes me feel better

We were just about to give up on this when some previous cachers' comments helped us out, son says this is his favourite! Very well done, stream looking pretty disgusting though!
Out tonight after dark chasing those 15 pointers for the space race. Amazed myself by quickly spotting this one. Well hidden. Thanks for the cache and another fav point well deserved.
Amazing hide! Walked past it many times, but eventually I wood end up finding it! TFTC!
Wonderful hide, took a bit of time to find this one. Luckily there was on one around. TFTC
I like the cache container; it's a pity the co-ords are not updated after so many comments over the years, some of us still cache with only location not info!
Beautifully hidden cache. The coordinates appear to be about 10m behind the fence, but going to the nearest accessible point got me to within a metre of the cache.
Nicely done!
Not sure, but I might have dated my log entry 17th July instead of 17th August. Sorry!
+FP, TFTC

I enjoyed this one. The cache name and your description were all that were needed to find the cache. I did have some trouble removing the log from the cache but got there in the end. The cache lid seems to be missing and the log is slightly damp - however the hiding place seems to be keeping most of the moisture out.
Coordinates a bit off but I didn't take too long to find the spot where the cache is hidden. TFTC
Yip, the "where would I hide it?" trick worked a treat. Thanks for the cool hide .
Yeah! About to give up when sidewaze said if she was placing a cache, she would put it either here or here. I said, "how about here?" BINGO! A favourite from me. TFTC
I thought this could be a quick one as we left Raumati but despite finding a suitable walkway I couldn't get any closer than 12m and couldn't find anything suitable so somehow I was in the wrong place. I didn't have time to do a more thorough search so I had to leave this one as a sad face for now, but am logging it so I remember what I was up to for next attempt.
Out and about bright and early for a caching trip to Waikanae area today. Having been part way up Paekakariki Hill Road and into Queen Elizabeth Park, now making my way into Raumati before heading to Waikanae for lunch. Made my way down the walkway and overshot the GZ. Doubled back and quickly spotted something not quite right. Made the find under the watchful eye of the local pussy cat who made sure I was completely the formalities correctly. Giving it an FP. TFTC
Was visiting family in Raumati when I thought I'd check my c.geo for nearby caches !
What a lovely surprise to find there was one just across the road in a walkway !
So after the visit and chat , and a playground visit with my sister and her young granddaughter , I managed to slip away and make a great find !!!!!!
Loved this thanks bkj97 ! A favourite !

#2001. Headed up to Raumati to have Easter lunch with some friends. After working on jigsaws and consuming too much food for a few hours, I got the nod that I could head off for an hour or so to do some geocaching. This was the first on the list. Finding the walkway was the first problem. After one false start I found it. Walked to the GZ. OK this might be tricky. Walked up and down a few times to see what type of hide it might be. Finally saw something that needed checking and yes, there is the container. Sweet. A nicely placed cache. Well done. Signed the log and returned before anyone showed up. Thanks for the cache.
Nice easy one. Great camo. All in good order. Thanks very much for this cunning cache.
Found after some wandering around, had to be getting close, and after short search had the Cache.
A gorgeous walk with the kowhai on bloom. We noticed something amiss as we approached. A great little hide. TFTC
First find for us and we'd have struggled if we'd not carefully read the earlier comments. It's given us a taste for more now.
Was muggled by two friendly young ladies, they had found the cache previously and pointed us in the correct direction. Nicely crafted camo, many thanks for a sneaky hide, TFTC.
Had a couple of days staying in Paraparaumu and manged to get quite a lot of caching time. Fair bucketing down for a good portion of both days - hence some very very short logs in an attempt to keep the logs as dry as possible! Thanks for the caches, neat area to cache in.
