Hi Team MCNN,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, only to discourage people from visiting this location until this cache may be addressed.
**Please note that caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis you will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't just pop out and fix the issue,** geocache maintenance can wait. Once the acute threat of pandemic is over, I will remind you about your cache needing attention.
Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so. However, I would like to assure you I will not be archiving any caches which the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain.
I'll pass by in about another 45 days and hopefully this will all be over.

Think we managed to get general location, searched around for a good while but wasn't able to find itm
Pretty sure we got the coords right, but could not find the cache at all. Looked close to our coords and tried spiraling out with no luck. Good luck to the next!
After reading some Logs, I found the mistake with the plaques
Thanks for showing this place to remember.

House sitting locally for two weeks, had to pick an area today for the touristy thing and caching. Mackay CBD won today. Planned to visit the Art Deco buildings in town. We found this one just in time for lunch
As the cache owner has not been on line for a couple of years, I feel at liberty to say that question 1 - you need to count the plaques and the missing ones.
The cache is still in play, thanks Team MCNN

Great little multi, some of the plaques are missing (if you look closely you can see where they were) everything else is still there to be found, I had the coordinates within 10 mins and had the prize soon after, thanks for placing in this area:-)
Nice and easy multi-cache.
Found with no lid and log was full.
Found with d4ws0n.

Wow...with loubay100 this one took us 3 tries. Started to think it was missing but alas..found it!! Its in bad shape..missing the lid and the log if full. Was a great hide
Stopped by this one late last night did some research n found a bit of a catch.1 of the questions is how many plaques on the brick wall minus ten, some have been removed from the wall ? None the less we tried a couple of methods and ended up with one that was pretty cachish but did not find lol.Chin up we will endevour and return another day for another go Cheerz
Went with Loubay100. As he mentioned..some of the plaques are missing so..did the math with the plaques still visible and came up empty..then did them without...still nothing. Considering there were spiders hanging around we conceeded defeat at least until its daylight hahaha. Going bak to soldier on
Pretty certain our coordinates are spot on however could not find the cache most likely is missing
Had a look for this but no luck here today. Maybe we worked it out wrong but there is no way to know.
Thanks
Thanks
rocked up to do this one only to find half the area fenced off was hoping that it wouldnt affect the cache after doing all the question only to find the path lead past all the fences walking around the fence only to see the cache stand out in it hidey hole

TFTC! Found it after some careful deduction. Found cache at GZ (minus the lid which I couldn't get to either!). Have placed the cache upside down as to avoid water inundation. Thanks for this cache in this memorable ANZAC year! We attended Dawn Service this year on the beach with geo-daughter carrying the flag up front for the Girl Guides.
Loved this cache beautifully done. Unfortunately the lid was cracked on the cache so when we got it out it fell off into the abyss of the hidey hole. Tried for ages to retrieve but no luck. Left a pathtag for the owner or fellow cacher who can put it in a new container. Hopefully the zip lock bag will keep it in good nick until then. Sorry but we really did love the cache.
We saved this cache for this very special day - the 100 year anniversary of the Anzac landing at Gallipoli. Our children marched in the march with their schools this morning but we saved the cache until late afternoon when the crowds were gone. We spent a few quiet moments admiring the many flower wreaths left at the main memorial and then we found the answers to the puzzle among the others. A very special cache, we really enjoyed doing it today, thank you for placing it. Lest We Forget.
On another note, this cache may need some maintenance, the lid of the screw top container is damaged, and has fallen off the container. We would suggest a new container. And - ANTS !!!

Together with Silli1310, we went on holiday for a year. If you have so much time, of course we also wanted to visit Australia for longer. So we went to Tasmania for a good three weeks at first and then north along the east coast for a good two months.
Coming from Eugnella Reservoir, we returned to the coast from our detour to Eugnella National Park. Finally arriving at our destination for the day in MacKay, we explored the town in search of a nice little restaurant. Along the way, we were able to complete this small multicache in the park. After looking at all the monuments, we had all the values for the final together and we were able to find the cache at the calculated coordinates without any problems. Many thanks for the cache.

On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to Australia as well. We started in Tasmania, rented a campervan in Melbourne and went up the Eastcoast to Cairns. Then we drove all the way to the Red Centre. We finished in Darwin. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
Had a great weekend doing some geocaching travelling from Townsville to Mackay with karicka. TFTC SL TNLN
Team work with Jackylegs to collect the numbers and we did find the hide too!
Another happy face!

Found it while watching a L player with a busted headlight hit curbs and practice parking behind my car.
I had to take this cache with me as muggles arrived as I was signing the log.
I will replace ASAP.

A nice little multi to do while waiting for the Eisteddfod in the entertainment centre to start. Accompanied by my friend and junior cacher, between us we soon had it in the bag. A nice tribute to remind us all of the ANZACs who gave so much for us all. TFTC
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there Team MCNN. We found your cache "ANZAC Challenge" at 11:21:00 AM today.
This was our 5th cache find in a caching run of 9 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9693.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was primarily to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached, (which has been going since New Years Day 2014.) Our "next closest" route took us to some wonderful & scenic locations.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

No wonder we didn't find it last time, we were no where near it. GPS went straight there and it was visible. Difficult to extract but no guardians. TFTC.

Did the data gathering and worked out the co ords as being at the showgrounds!, That couldn't be right so looked closer and had missed a "less 2" in the text, then it made sense. Cache took a bit of extracting, big fingers, smlll gaps.
cache container and log neds replacing.

Great hunt with the geowife, it was our first one together. The log is wet and lid cracked but otherwise fantastic. TFTC

Very informative cache! The little green solders are very protective of the cache. Left a sticker

Collected the clues after dinner and soon had a set of coordinates which led me to GZ where I speed the cache. I was unable to get it out of it's hiding spot, so I took a photo which I'm happy to send to the owner.

Straightforward instructions and a nice little hide. Mrs SearchEngine just explained the hint to me too. Good cache.
In Mackay for a short work layover and had a brief opportunity to grab a cache. Walked from the motel to the GZ and quickly had the necessary information to locate the cache. No green army waiting in ambush today. Cache quickly retrieved and log signed. TFTC SL {#324}.
This is a very nice and peaceful bit of the towne of Mackay
And I wandered around the green grass lawns from one memorial to another in search of the answers.
Everything made sense and I soon had a set of coords to head for
With the muggle count staying low, I found GZ and quickly extracted the cache before the green army could retalliate
TFTC, one I shall not forget [^]

Our first calculation had us searching the garden across the road outside a business. Back to the monuments and we found the vital missing piece of information. Then a quick find was made in a much more realistic location. Thanks.
Found at 2:49 PM GAFF1. Yep - that was one tough little cache, however as the ANZAC's were supposed to be tough, we gritted our teeth and went plunging in amongst those green ants (why do they like these sort of trees?) and finally found the little nook where the cache was hidden.
The ANZAC them was brought up at a recent Geocaching podcast - asking how many caches were in existence that included the acronym - ANZAC. This was one of them!
Thanks Team MCNN.

Another day caching around Mackay, and a short drive out to Eton.
We found a variety of caches, including 3 puzzles and 2 multi's.
A nice easy multi with clear instructions.
This cache was in good condition, and well hidden.
Thanks for the cache, Team MCNN.

I had gathered the required information on a previous visit to Mackay but was unable to finish the job due to muggle activity at GZ. This time there was no one around and I came up with the goods quickly. TFTC.
This morning my wife and I headed into town to go to the movies and watch Les Miserables with Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe. We were early and so I convinced her to stop for this cache as we had plenty of time. We walked around and gathered the information without hassle. As we did so, I remembered doing a few ANZAC Day ceremonies here when I was a teenager and part of the TS Pioneer Navy Cadets.
After the info was entered into the GSPr, we walked the short distance to ground zero. We could not find the cache at first but after a short time I managed to spot it in its hidey place. With the log signed, we were off to the movies. And a GOOD movie it is too!
Thanks for the cache and for dredging up some memories Team MCNN
Cheers

Sad memorials. We have come to the park many times for ANZAC day. Able to access the cache without attack from the greenies. Cache holder is starting to hold onto the cache very well. Took us a bit to get it out. TFTC.
A nice and early walk, no muggles about but missed out today, the Long Tan cross memorial has the main plaque missing so I guess the dedication date was on that so could not get co-ord A. Then it started raining so we ran for the motel, later we figured it was not far away so plotted using the offset coordinate. Next time I'm in town we will have a crack at that and see it it was right, (or not)
TFTC. Great piece of history, thanks for bringing us here.

the green gardians were out in force today, geo son found it behind a leaf. there was a lady doing some free exercise classes.
The waypoint information was quickly gathered and the cache was soon in hand. Then the wait started as a muggle decided the the car park close to GZ was a good spot to get changed for a bike ride. Once he left I quickly returned the cache and headed off.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I love these caches they take you to spots you would not normally visit- took casino chip left soldier
I enjoyed this multi - good history and quite fast to find. For anyone who doesn't like multis, this cache might still be suited to you as you should have all of the coordinates within a couple of minutes, then the cache is only a short walk away. The cache was quite easy to find. Some generous visitor had left five cents - thanks, but I'll leave this for another person!
Not as wet today so we headed out to do a few caches - got this one ok. A nice little multi which we were able to collect the data on without any problems.
Thanks to Team MCNN.

Found with geo parents barrod who did the hard yards and worked out coordinates previously.
We worked out the puzzle before and went back today with the co ords and found this cache with new cachers hayjessmum. We left a new piece of paper as the log book needs replacing. TFTC

Our first Multi-Cache and a chance to introduce our son to Geocaching. Easy find but didn't see our friends guarding the cache until we had our hands on it.
Nice and easy multi, muggles close by. Log is quite damp, dried out the best we could,

Great cache, pity it ends up at just a micro? Would be great for a regular with ANZAC themed swaps!!!
Our first cache in Mackay. We passed this park on our way from the airport, so it was an easy to locate cache GZ after dropping off luggage.
Visited both of the memorials and calculated the required coordinates. Headed off and quickly identified the guardians of the cache, so we were comfortable that we were in the right spot.
Patiently waited for some muggles enjoying a cigarette to finished before a quick search of the site.
The cache was located and while the log is moist it is still able to be written upon. TNLN but enjoyed our first find in Mackay.

This was such a nice, easy cache. The clues were easy to find,as was the cache. There were no green ants guarding the cache, but lots of muggles in the park and entering and leaving the council buildings, so spent some time waiting for the right moment to grab the cache unobserved.
The cache was wet inside and the log soggy after the torrential rain last night. But 10 minutes in the midday sun soon had it dried out. I placed the log in a ziplock bag to try and keep it a bit drier.
TFTC, a pleasure to do this one.
Cheers,
CSCat

I decided to grab this multi this afternoon. It was quite muggleless so I was able to set about collecting clues in the peace. I came up with an answer and made my way to GZ. Hmm this does not seem right. Nothing. Moved onto other areas. Still nothing. Checked and re-checked my workings. No - that is right. Back to orginal GZ - and lo and behold there was the cache tucked away nicely. It is in good condition. TFTC Team MCNN
# 2 for the day... Couldn't help but to do this one while heading out. A little cloud made the co-ords slightly out but checking the GPS at the right time meant looking up at the obvious spot for GZ and the cache being retrieved with no further frustrations. Not too many muggles out and a lovely park. Thanks for the brief history lesson... SL TFTC
Worked this out between showers, with a near record achievement of only one minor arithmetical error.
No room for a train here so will drop in-and-out.

Cache and surrounds were well guarded by the little green soldiers. A little brain workpit for the child helper had us find this one.
Found while looking for a place to drop some TB's. to small though. TFTC. Have respect for this hunt.
This was a fun multi. Had to rework the figures a bit when I realised we didn't read the questions properly. Found the cache quickly once we fixed the problem. Complete with little green soldiers. TFTC
This was the first of 3 caches I found late this afternoon / early evening. The questions were easy to answer and I soon found the cache. There weren't many little green soldiers when I took the cache out but putting it back was a different story. Lots of them came out which made replacing the cache interesting. ONE IMPORTANT NOTE. The Mackay Regional Council is currently doing some maintainence work around the World War 1 and 2 memorials. There is also a 4th memorial being installed next to the World War 2 memorial. No idea what it is commemorating because there is no plaques or lettering on it yet. Thank You Team MCNN for placing this cache.
It's always sobering to wander around these memorials especially when you realise that all those names were so young.
Thanks Team MCNN
