Found while out on a caching run with Datruk who is celebrating his 50th birthday with a day of caching.
Log sheets need replacing as they were falling apart as we removed them.

Out with team-coxy on my 50th birthday caching run.
After a quick search I locate this one but had to find the correct tool to make the extraction easier. The log was damp and falling apart.

After reading previous logs I had a gut feeling what to look for.
And I was right, found cache nearly instantly.
Good hide. Signed log. Thanks, Dagobert1

The cache location was quickly identified - but how do you extract the log? A pair of tweezers from the first aid kit were very useful here. We then pushed it back in as we couldn't see an easy of opening the container. TFTC
Caching on the peninsula with lochb and coley_babee to help Lisa from the walenators celebrate her birthday.
Another different type of hide, we didn't have the appropriate tools to open, but tweezers certainly assisted us signing the log sheet.
Thanks again walenators.

Team up with good mate ahomburg for a cache run down the Mornington Peninsula (Hastings area) to attend Mrs Walenators Birthday event at Crib Point.
Luckly today doing this cache was much easier but can see the reasons for this to be a D4. So it was a quick find but I recoken that this was due to some luck. A very sneaky hide this one.
TFTC walenators once again.

I got up today ready for a big day fo caching. I was picked up nice and early buy my caching mate sedgwickdave for a caching run down on the Mornington Peninsula with the main goal of attending the Mrs Walenators Birthday event at Crib Point.
Despite the Difficulty rating, we managed to find this one fairly easily. I think that was partly due to an empty field and carpark today.

Another cache that I had the pleasure of finding a similar hide with the Walenators earlier this year.
I happily picked this hide when we reached GZ as there was nowhere else I could think of it being.

Found by Mary & David at 1455. With so many other cachers in the area, thought there would be some here already, but the car park was deserted. Checked out a few possibilities, but kept coming back to one that stood out even though at first glance there was nothing there. A more detailed examination finally revealed the cache. Very good! Our thanks to walenators once again.
this was my 3rd time here and no one there still took a good 20 min log full put in new one and got rid of ants TFTC
Caching day with Laker63
Arrived there just one car under council, two muggles was in car so we waited and walk around till they gone then back again. Oh again tricky one. when I get it out and thousands of ants hide there. also very wet log papers but manage to log it.

We are pleased that there have been so many varieties of trad hides down here today. Makes for more fun when you are logging a bagful of caches.
A taxi drove out as we drove in which made things easier.
Thanks walenators.

I have been here before, but we were muggled out then. Today, as we drove up a taxi just left, so we had the place to ourselves.
A nice hide.

This one looked like trouble when I pulled in and was followed by a suspicious type in a white car who got out and wandered around for a few minutes before getting back in his car and leaving. In addition, it looked as though some football training was about to get underway - but there weren't a lot of kids around GZ and I was able to search ok. I'd had some preconceived ideas about the type of hide, but they were quickly squashed and I had to cast about a bit before I came up with some new ones and then located the cache. I didn't have the most desirable tools to remove it, but I managed ok and was soon heading home after a fairly big day.

Thanks for the last time today walenators - I had a most enjoyable tour around the area and headed home very happy with my day's work.

So with a day off from work, what is a cacher to do? Or the question should really be, which direction? In this case … south. I motored on down the Eastlink, past Frankston and kept to the French Island side of the area and nabbed about 30 caches for the day. At one point I nearly gave up in frustration as a number of caches appeared to be MIA or poorly positioned allowing search areas of 200m2 for small well camouflaged caches in bushland!!! Anyway after a coffee and a nice toastie, all was good and I was back on track for another good day of finds. Well what can I say about this. It was were I expected it to be, but not in the form I found it. After scan of the surroundings, and observing damage to other similar object in the area, I found the cache in 3 minutes and I used a special key to remove the log and sign it. The same key was used to return it into place. I've seen similar styles before but none like this. thank walenators.
Quick ride-by on my way home from completing 'Jungle Recon'. Nobody in the carpark and pinpoint coordinates made for a very easy find.

We found this cache today at 3:20pm as the 25th of 29 on our Hastings and Area Caching Day. The co-ords were spot on and as we are geocachers, of course we had the retrieval tools on board. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Very clever hide, but somehow we found it within seconds. Must have my caching eyes in today.
Proved a lot harder to extract than to find. Managed to preserve a family tradition of spilling blood on every caching run, due to the lack of an appropriate extraction tool

Arrg to this cache. This took me a little while to find. Got it in the end once I realized where I needed to be looking
It was rather convenient that I was out and about with walenators as he got to do a maintenace visit on this one. We arrived at GZ and I started my search, after a little while somebody laughed at me and said I was on the wrong track, and soon enough I had the log in hand. Walenators performed the maintenance while I was singing the log, and we headed off to seartch some more
Thanks for the cache walenators

Found this one with Hazey1 and Morsal. Tricked us newcomers, but Hazey found it pretty quickly. Clever hiding spot!
TFTC, a clever hide; though did find it pretty fast, no muggle activity really; except a couple with a metal detector hopefully not looking for this cache Found with scorpio8 and Morsal.
The place was completely empty (thanks to mid-week caching), so if I'd needed it, I could have searched unimpeded. But thankfully, I walked straight up to it, and that was it. Nice and simple, although a sneaky hide just the same. Thanks for the cache, and well done on the hide.
Found it, no bother. Great hide, no one about to hinder the search. SL.

On tour of the Peninsula caching today , had to look at the previous logs to retrieve the log - tftc walenators
I had an appointment in Dromana, Mrs Coffee came for the drive with me and we stopped in here to look for this cache. There was a worker having his lunch when we pulled up but fortunately he left not long after so we were able to search for the cache. We had an idea what we were looking for but came up empty handed so phoned a friend who said that we were on the right track and with a little more in depth searching the log was in hand
Thanks walenators for the cache
Thanks walenators for the cache
Only one muggle in a ute eating lunch pervented us from searching straight away for this one. Once he left Mrs.Crackers and Shelby were out of the car but the GPS was not playing nice today. Once it settled we had the cache in hand for logging.
Thanks walenator for the hide,

Despite lots of muggles bashing a poor ball about, a clever carpark helped us grab this one.
Another clever hide, a little different from most on the MPenninsula.
Still "Team Crippes" today but we are persisting.

No one here today, last time there were three families and their dogs right at GZ, so we left.
Nothing suss here today, not the cache nor the cacher
Nothing dodgy here today, not the cache nor the cacher
Found while the Chief was on one phone call and I was on another. People track you down no matter where you are. Oh well, so much for our caching day out. Have to go pick up EB Nano from school now as he is feeling sick! TFTC
You know by the time we got to his school he had gone back into class as he had "gotten over" his upset tummy and was by all accounts FINE. The Chief walked out of school with a guitar and no kid, which kind of looked odd! We could have stayed out caching, rotten kid! I think he must have known we were out having fun while he was at school....
Nothing Suss....
Nothing dodgy....

I must have had my caching brain in today as I sussed this one out quickly too. I only had to contend with a dog muggle to get her pets into the car and then the cache was in the first place that I tried, although it did look the most suss for some reason. Many thanks for the fun, walenators.
Found it !! Would rate this about 21/2 difficulty, think like a cacher and you'll get it easy.
Very clever idea, and the first one like this I've seen.
Thanks Walenators!!

Took several trips to sort this one out. First time, no idea, so look at the logs. Aha... Second visit, cache found but not accessible. Third visit with the necessaries and all was revealed. I have reservations about this cache - most people would not have the right implement with them and it is a dodgy thing to do to get the cache itself. Anyway, TFTC
Tried this one last week - but didn't have the right equipment to check where I assumed it must be. Came back tonight better equipped for an easy find by car headlight in a deserted area. Thanks for an interesting hide.
Well, we hung around the location while guys in utes turned up and wondered why they didn't recognise us. Trying to look natural around the hub caps of the car was a bit of a challenge, but we managed it, with the superlative help of the squalids. TFTC.
Co-ords are spot on, and I had this in hand quite quickly. Cricket muggles seemed fairly interested, but there were enough of us there for diversion. Thanks for the nice hide.
Found with Dunko on an early arvo finish the locals insects like this spot as well TFTC SL
20-11 7th find of the day at 12:52 and 1179th find in total.
Without any underlying intent, we really weren't too sure about this hide method. If we were the caretakers of this area we wouldn't be very happy about what is needed to be done to get to this one.
If it wasn't for one of your previous caches that we did today and the spot on co-ords we wouldn't have had the idea of where to find it.
(''\(OoO)/'') Thanks walenators for the caching fun!

Finally got the chance to get the cache. After working all night Thursday night, then all day Friday, went out to the movies Friday after work then head straight to my second night shift job, it wasn't until 4:45am Saturday morning when I was finally signing the cache log. The FTF was truely gone by now, but not as early as I thought. Still a TTF is good. Nice hide. Cheers.
Saw this one come up on the geocaching website just after 11:30 last night (Thursday) but didn't get an alert for it. Was going to go and get it but tied up at work. Checked again this morning and guess what . . still hasn't been logged. Gonna try and get out of work early today and see if I can grab a FTF.

This one was published just before knock off time and we had just decided to work back a bit later “Oh no change of plans gotta go” and I was off for the chase, arriving at GZ 15minites later and 25 minutes after publication, but this was no match for a cacher on a motor bike. Beaten again by Rog,[8] this time I found him sitting at GZ waiting for second place to arrive. Had a good old chat about caching while I loaded co-ords into GPSrs, at this stage we had drawn the attention of a inquisitive cricketing muggle who was quite interested in what we were up to. (Didn’t think we looked that suss?) Anyway once he moved on cache was found with out too much trouble in second place I looked due to spot on co-ords.
Quietly confident this tricky cache wont get muggled in a hurry nosey muggles or not
Nice meeting Rog for the first time with the added bonuses of a few laughs over the weekends caching antics
Thx Walanators for another cache with a difference
Note: - I must get that water proof pen to go with the write in the rain log

A FTF rush not for the faint hearted. I got the email at 1630 and still being in my work clothes i had to change. never have i change so quickly and was out the door in moments never thought the ride to Balnarring was sooo long.
with so many muggles around I had to park the bike in a way that would obscure as much of the view as possible. just as i put the cache back in it's spot a white wan approached me. uh oh i've been sprung.
thankfully it was oakydog, nice to meet you. after our short talk he got onto finding the cache and just as i had it in hand in moments he too was of the same thought as i.
sorry for the late log have been busy with shiver me timbers.
