Taurus Six and I started the day from Katanning after spending a lovely evening there last night , after a day of geocaching through the Wheatbelt yesterday. It was a very cold morning and constantly threatening to rain. After a hearty breakfast at the Dome we had a walk around the township this morning collecting a couple of Adventure Lab elements before hitting the road . Our geocaching plan for the day was to clear up caches and Adventure Labs around the Katanning area then do a circuit through Broomhill then back round to Kojonup before meandering our way back to Bunbury geocaching along the way . There was an array of different caches, and areas to explore and all in all it was another very enjoyable days geocaching .This is our seventeenth cache find of the day along with some Adventure Labs whilst we are driving around these beautiful back roads of the southern Wheatbelt . We parked up and enjoyed the walk into this gz , apart from the rather friendly mozzies that is. It did not take long to have cache in hand and the parrots were rather friendly around here too which was nice. Thanks for the cache find .
Found it after a bit of a walk. Spot on coordinates helped for an immediate find when arriving at GZ. Bit of an eerie place actually. I was glad to get back to my car. Thanks for placing a cache at this historic location.
Would never have known this was here, could imagine the good old days and what happened here all those years ago. Tftc
Found it. TFTC Team Phlyer. Once I got to GZ it was a reasonable easy find. Replaced as found.
Found with bigSalmon1 whilst exploring the area. Thanks for the history, a great place but mozzies on guard. Cache in good shape and dry TFTC
Touring the Great Southern using Geocachiing as our guide. Today we moved from Cranbrook to Kojonup.
Great spot, see that others have camped here. Fave point for the history.

After our Parisian trip in the first week of the Easter holidays, we (i and my husband Voske1967) went for 3 weeks to the other side of the world to enjoy the friendly atmosphere, food, landscapes and culture of Australia. Of course, geocaches were also searched for and found in Perth, Monkey Mia, Denham, Newman, Port Hedland ... . This trip downunder will stay with us for a long time! It was pretty hot in Australia for the autumn season
Lovely spot, there were a family of ducks with 5 ducklings paddling around in the water.
Thank you Team Phlyer for bringing us here.

This is why we love caching, you would never see places like this otherwise! Thanks Team Phlyer, loved it!
After recently returning back to Perth after my stay was cut short in Albany by a year it was finally time to return. Catching up with old friends, cache maintenance, FTF opportunities And more green dots to convert to smiles lead to a great reason to head back down the highway.
barnzy12 and I had both been planning trips back to Albany and soon realised we had picked the same weekend.(well that's they story the partners are getting)
The drive down was not the quickest due to the intense deviation needed to clear the map however very enjoyable never the less.
All caches were found and replaced in good condition. Thanks to the CO's for bringing me to the great locations that I got to see and drive past.
Happy hunting, Cravo10

TFTC! Had a grand weekend away with Cravo10, mugglewife and ItsKate visiting Albany and just about everywhere in between.
We left Perth on Friday travelling via every known backroad and side road known to the maps and maybe even a few not quite so known! Managed to grab a bunch of caches between Perth and Albany on the western side of the highway including a FTF at Boscabel, yeah Boscawhere?? Never heard of it either.
Got into Albany significantly later than we otherwise should have, but managed to get up early the following day to grab a bunch of caches around frenchmans bay, sand patch near the windfarm and further down towards Nullaki and finally around to Denmark.
Got the car nice and dirty on the back roads near the windfarm much to the delight of mugglewife!! NOT!!
Unfortunately the weather didn't work in our favour as we had planned a trip out to bold head to cleanup all out there followed by some kayaking to pickup the Camp Q adventure trail caches but the stars weren't aligned properly for that. But there's always next trip!!
We got up early the following day and grabbed a few caches around town before heading on the road back to Perth, not just Albany highway but every road east of the highway along all the back routes through cranbrook, tambellup, Katanning, Narrogin, high bury and finally back through Willian's with some side detours on the way!!
Had a great weekend and even managed to sneak in a visit with the inlaws who were more than accomodating. Thanks to all of the COs for the caches and we can't wait to come back soon. Thanks

Thanks to Geocaching now I know why the Grahams Well Rd is named as such.
Great just thinking about what may have visited the well back in early days.
Mozzies are like helicopters this time of year.

This one has been on the bucket list for many years. Finally got here. Tftc
Really good fun trekking to this place. The soak is great and very deep! We saw a fox! TFTH!!
What an interesting trek through the bush! I didn't realise it was so far in so I left my car running on the side of the road; all my worldly possessions there for the taking! Think I need to get one of those "this car is not abandoned, the owner is just geocaching" signs! TFTC
Out for a day's geocaching around the Great Southern with allinaday. Really enjoyed all the different places we visited on our travels today. TFTC
Found the track in ok and reached the clearing, where we found a large amount of cars. It appears that some lucky lady was celebrating her hens day/night in the clearing with a bunch of lady friends and hilariously thought that geo hubby was the stripper. We high tailed it to the well, in case the lovely ladies decided to pursue us, and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC and an entertaining half hour in the middle of nowhere.
A quick find on while travelling around the great southern. We took the track in and made the find. looks like it is still used by the 'locals' as there were many tracks near the well. Thanks for taking us here.
This cache had indeed been smuggled !! Have installed a replacement and is ready to be found
GPS kept taking us back to one area but after vigorous searching and countless mosquito bites we gave up. I hope it wasn't right under our noses.
Definitely our sort of cache! There was a kangaroo drinking at the well when we walked up and she hopped reluctantly away when Ralph put on his "I haven't had breakfast" look. Having lived in Broomehill and Katanning as a youngster this place took tango back to his days of being a Boy Scout and trekking through bush like this with a compass. A GPS would have been very handy back then.
Thanks Team Phlyer for the fun

Out for a day trip up to replace the logbook for "Tunney - Don't Blink You May Miss It!" GC2G9B7 and decided to get this little cache, one we have not had a chance to get. Nice drive in and lovely little place. TFTC
The boys were amazed at the fact that there is a permanent water source that just appears in this spot. A great cache with some obvious history. Thanx Team Phlyer.
Decided on an outa of the norm trek home today after dropping in on the inlaws in KA. and had two choices and decided on this way. May have had something to do with a couple of caches.
Short drive in via the track and the GPS had me heading off in a loop before I decided to wait a sec for it to catch up and was then on to the cache.
Took the Geo Gem.

Another enjoyed drive the car along to close the cache... follow richlink's geocar's track.... smile... We enjoyed walk along to the cache - Ebony find the container before us... swap items... Signed the log with Kindigo. Thanks Team Phlyer.
This was a great find. No trouble assessing with our camper trailer and plenty of room to turn around at the end. We had to park 120 mts from gz and then made a very easy find. Thanks for bringing us to this terrific spot.
Great little spot tucked away from the maddening crowds, plus some history to go with it. Found the well, and the cache for a FTF!
Thanks Team Phlyer, I particularly like this type of location.
Took: Small multi tool
