Took a new geocaching friend out for a bit of an adventure yesterday. Would've been much nicer on a cooler day but still such a nice area and a nice walk that I haven't attempted before. Didnt take us too long for this one, TFTC
A nice quick find.
Luckily this was a nice quick one and close to the track as the walk leader was waiting

Next on our way around this loop today was another quick find at 10:45 thanks to spot-on coordinates and we were off to seek more views - and caches.
TNLNSL noted clue. Thanks the old blokes.

Unfortunately it was time to leave Wedderburn and head back home but not before picking up some more quality caches in the company of TR! in and around Kooyoora State Park. We drove to the ones we could then enjoyed the hike to the others on this beautiful sunny day, collecting the information for the final.
**Thanks to the old blokes for placing a series in such a great location.**

After grabbing coffee in town this morning, it was time to hit the trail and grab some caches on the way home.
This was the first of the day, following TheTritonz today, we decided a nearby series was where we were headed before making the trip home.
Thanks for bringing us to this location.

Kept marching down the track onto our next find. Husband helped us spot this one.
Found with itsahoughthing. I'd somehow forgotten to log the few caches in this series so please excuse the generic logs. Thanks for the cache.
My family (becca85, neisha07 & boo09) met up with family friends the ReganSeekers family to check out some caches around Melville Caves. We had a great time exploring! TFTC
Backlogging... School Holidays are upon us and no work for Mum & Dad today we (neisha07, chan02 & becca85) teamed up with ReganSeekers for a Picnic & Geocaching daytrip to the caves.

Despite the not so awesome weather we met up with some family friends for a picnic and some caching. A great bushwalk in an area we've not explored before. Found with becca85, chan02, boo09 & ReganSeekers. TFTC
Being school holiday time, we teamed up with Becca85 and geokids chan02, neisha07 and boo09 for a picnic and a day of geocaching at the Caves.
After making the mistake of going the longggg way to #1 we made sure we stayed on the track and we were happy we made it easily to #2 TFTC

I thought I give this series a shot on the way back from the Wedderburn Event , it's placed by the old blokes so there will be some twist to it . Thanks .
Found at 2.25pm whilst wandering around this pleasant park. With us today is M's sister and brother in law from Queensland.'
We are all enjoying the series

Had an enjoyable afternoon trek through the bush completing this series. Thanks for setting them up!
I continued my hobble along the OBT to see if the pacemaker would cope with the exercise [:o]
That hill between #1 and #2 was a bit steep [:o]
But after a good long sit down in a shady spot, I was able to drag me carcass over to GZ and sign the cache log with me dying breath
Nice views along this trail by the way [^]

Crew of kids are having heaps of fun. Found quite quickly, made swaps and continued on.
I walked straight past this one last night but it was dark and I wanted to find the road back to the camp ground. Today I came from the other direction doing the Long Rock walk and grabbing the caches I missed. Highly recommend the walk with great views and rocks. Sl grabbed the number and continued on. TFTC
Found with Bogonghazy today in the cold and drizzling rain. We didn't come across too many muggles up around here today. Unless you're a crazy cacher, most people would be home in front of a fire. Thanks to the old blokes for this series, the walk and the cache.
Another quick find for Sully1 and I as we made our way further along the track as the rain got heavier.
Thanks again TOB for this series, another clue obtained

Found on a family caching trip with the family to Melville Caves. We had a great time caching in the area over 2 days. This one had is baffled for a while but I made the find soon enough. Our thanks to The Old Blokes.
While camping here it was nice to go and get some caches. This one we took some time to find it but we made it in the end. TFTC.
With a lovely morning and the end of holidays rapidly approaching, myself, the Charm Quark and the Cache Monkey decided to do the Old Blokes Track.
Worn out a little from her previous jaunt on the rocks, there was no such playing for the Cache Monkey here. If fact it was a nice and easy little grab for her.

A stunning spot with awesome views managed to find and log this one before some other cachers with young children turned up to do it. TFTC
When I heard that my husband's amateur radio club was having a setup at Melville Caves for the John Moyle Field Day contest, I took the opportunity to try and get a few of the caches available in the area.
My 8 & 7 year old girls have been little troopers as we trekked through the bush for about 3 hours this afternoon finding this series and others along the way and hadn't really complained that much. I'm just thankful that I had the hindsight to leave my 5 year old boy behind with Dad instead of tagging along too!! Great excuse to get out of the house and enjoy the amazing scenery of an area that we will definitely be coming back to explore at a later time.
This one was a nice, easy find and as was the case with most of the caches we found today, my 7 year found this one. I should have taken notes but I always seem to forget though we did remember to jot down all the numbers as we went along for the final one in this series so I honestly can't remember what we took though we did leave our usual swag of a small butterfly bag with butterfly charm and colourful button.
Thanks for the series and caches!

Was a warm day for a walk in the bush, but not too bad in the shade. Second cache found. TFTC
Nice place for a hide.
Found while camping nearby with Port 63.
Bit of a hot day though
Thanks for the cache

Find #101. Found with FUF009 at 1.42pm
We had already done #4,#5 & #6 of this series, so decided to finish off the old blokes track, being a nice day to walk through the bush. Plus we wanted to get our 100th find.
A close walk by cache - didn't even have to get off the track - just had to keep eyes out for muggles. Lucky for us none came along.
Took Orange moose. Left blue doll. TFTC

Find #263 @1342
Found With Tyred n Cranky
As we had already done #4,#5 & #6 of this series the plan was to finish off the old blokes track with a nice walk through the Bush, and for Tyred n Cranky to achieve there 100th find.
If others caches can be classed as a drive by this one should be a "walk by" I was supprised to see it so close to the track (but well hidden from muggles) a nice hide
Took Dragon Fly
Left Yellow Silver car

5th find today, another good hide, nice to have to do some walking for a change. took little steel man, left dragonfly. TFTC
Hidden just off the track, there must be a lot of people that walk right by this and never notice it's there.

After doing orienteering in the area, decided it was about time to find some more caches and this series looked like a good one.

After being fired up by finding cache number one of this series it was a much easier find for number two with Dylan 7a and The Morphoist - easy enough that even I found the cache in spite of my best efforts. Onto cache three after first being 'distracted' by the Southern Lookout and its cache. Thank you 'the old blokes' for this cache and location. TNLN.
Find #383 on 13/06/11 while out caching with Emma's JAM.

All in a hurry climbing on a rock they missed it but i got it yay still the kids got something and put back .
After blundering around like newbies trying to get from #4 to #5 (don't ask) we did what we should have done in the first place, went looking for #1. So how did we miss it and find #2 at 3.55 pm? We'll have to find out tomorrow for there is no going back if we want to be in camp before dusk given the way we have been performing this afternoon. Meantime, TNLNSL TFTC

Fifth clue and one to go. We had been in this area about a year ago after another cache. What a great way to punctuate a walk (some people would vote for golf) in such wonderful bush land.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt The Old Blokes.

Found the second in the series after a bit more snuffing and sniffing by the Cachehounds - they were enjoying it! Signed log and left a 'Cars' ball. TFTC.
Ian and Robmc wandered up to the lookout and took some pics but Penny and Lady Morris opted for the lower view. Its a beautiful day and the views are spectacular. Tnx for bringing us up here
Bouyed by the quick find at No.1 (and the big fat spider nearby), we were off to No.2.
Just off the side of the track and the cache was in hand.
Where's No.3?
Thanks, Robmc.

6th find of the day, and 2736th total find at 14:46.
We're spending the weekend caching with The Morris and RobMc and thoroughly enjoyed the exercise of the circuit walk, and traipsing through huge spider webs.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing
Thanks the old blokes for the cache

Nice find. My way around this circuit was slowed a bit by the 5 million spider webs across the track. I recommend carrying a big stick!

The second in the series and another easy find, thanks the old blokes. This was a nice walk that I had done BC.
Found at 11:55 with Been_there.
I've been wanting to visit the Kooyoora State Park for many years but never really got around to it. So, when browsing across the state for caching locations, I discovered a cluster in this area and a geocaching walking track, well we just had to come here. Camped for the weekend - the weather was ideal and after all the rain, everything was green and lush - all in all, a perfect weekend. Loved the concept of the "Geocaching track" and thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Thanks Old Blokes for putting this together. TNLNSL

A nice easy find. Great idea putting caches along the walking track. Some great views. TNLN TFTC
Cut and paste, you've got to love it. I must concur with Romax for this series, the co-ords were spot on or maybe my Garmin has the same error as the old blokes' GPSr, who knows? Collected all six in the series but unfortunately will have to come back another day to complete #7 as I didn't have the puzzle although in hindsight I could have guessed what it was. Thanks Old blokes for the walk and the caches.
