This one was just too well hidden for us. Sunday morning seems like a good time to look as there was not many people about, but that was not enough for us so we left without finding it. Maybe next time we will do better.
I can not take any credit for finding this cache. Groovydoo during a discussion about the weird and wonderful world of Geocaching showed me the location as an example of a "nano". I have since become addicted to Geocaching and would like to both thank and curse Groovydoo for introducing me to my new healthy addiction
It looks like there was a cacher here today, as no log showed a find, it didnt show a DNF either
Finally a smiley for this one, third attempt, clever hide!..had a little help from the CO, nice to meet you Groovydoo!
Caching with Earthly65 we both searched for this one..luckily noone around so searched freely but just couldnt find it..very curious...where is it?? Searched the object covered in a tarp thinking it may be similar to other cache of same name but...nothing...tricky one!

My second attempt at this one..took a caching friend but that didnt help..no fairy godfathers either..got me stumped!
Found it No. 5008 ... meet the cache owner and with a little help from him had it in hand ... TNLN ... TFTC groovydoo
We found this easily as we had seen the similar cache earlier in the day.
We had been telling the lady at the information centre that we were geocaching in town, so took it to show her what we were talking about. TFTC

What a story we could tell about this eventual find but it would be so full of spoilers we just cannot (hope we haven't said too much already). We started at 7.30 am while the town was quiet and didn't find it. Our modern Garmin, we find, isn't too good when we need to be precise, so we went back to the hotel (after finding No. 2) for brekkie and picked up our old Garmin. On our return we were frustrated by muggles until a 'fairy godfather' appeared! Sadly, we can't say more. What a clever hide, we enjoyed the chat and the history we gleaned. Many thanks groovydoo. TNLNSL
Found it thanks to the friendly local who gave us a clue, don't think we would have otherwise. Thought his first impression would be that we were up to no good, we certainly must have looked it. So a fav point for a cache-friendly town and a really sneaky cache.
This one was good! Awesome job! Had me looking for a while but I kept at it. No hints in the logs but eventually I found. Thanks a lot for such a cool cache groovydoo.
this cache was very frustrating. looked everywhere possible, had two goes and still didn't find it. you did well at hiding this one groovydoo.
Another tricky hide by Groovydoo.
Thanks for the cache and tour.
Your identity is safe with us!
Thanks again for all the great caches around Dorrigo, did not get to see them all, maybe next time.
Cheers

Excellent cache! groovydoo is certainly the master of clever hides. Thanks for everything groovydoo, gets a fav point from us.
Eventually found this geocache... Took a bit to get used to the GPS on the app but was good
Tried to find this one on our last visit to Dorrigo and had no luck. Back in town again now (had a lovely morning trout fishing) and decided to try again. Once again the GPS seemed to be all over the place but this time with a little more luck we found the cache. Tricky one. Thanks Groovydoo.
Called in today to show our friends (new geocachers) a great cache in Dorrigo. Thanks groovydoo for showing us around your work, it's amazing. With GPS trouble today we didn't find alot around Dorrigo today, plus we were pressed for time so that gives us a good excuse to come back another time as we love this little country town.

We too met Groovydoo around GZ. Must confess to receiving a hint re the clever and tricky hide and then spent some very enjoyable time discussing caching and seeing his place of work and the marvellous machines of another age, albeit one I can remember! Many thanks for the cache and the opportunity to meet. A favourite point to you.
Arrived at gz and being watched intently by a local filling up with gas we new eyes were watching us as we rounded the cnr towards the printers. We were going to back out of here, but having read the logs on the go and realising this was a cacher friendly zone we continued with our search. However the local gas proprietor came and checked us out, all good as it normally works out in geocaching as we met the local printer shortly after and got to see around his interesting work area. A historian's paradise! And it was a fab hide too, that's groovydoo for bringing us to Dorrigo
Work took myself and geo juniour in to Dorrigo,so had been looking forward to doing some of the local caches, started with this one and what a beauty, took us a while to work it out,but well done groovydoo.TFTC
Reperio at 1115. Darwinian and I parked across the road and made our way over to GZ where we were confronted with plenty of locations that a nano caches could be, but with the nearby printing press in action today, we were a little hesitant to go walking around...until we bumped into the owner himself. After a brief chat, he rest assured that the people working nearby knew all about the cache, so with renewed vigor, we went back to searching. After some careful observation, it wasn't long before we realised what the cache was, and sure enough, and after a closer look, we had the cache...very nicely done.
Once we had signed the cache and replaced, we were invited in to take a look around at the press and how it works. Not only were we impressed that such a machine is still in use today (the only one in Australia that is), we were amazed at how much work goes into producing a paper.
Gratias groovydoo. This one was a real experience, and I thankyou for taking the time to show us around.

Well we had a big day caching but this was the one that we could not find, even pulled a disconnected earthing stake that was 50cm down into the ground out (we replaced it) in our search attempt. Will have to try again another day.
found even with a couple of biker dudes on the footpath at the start of the back alley, they had their backs to me. Took a few minutes to find but soon had it in hand. Really good hide groovydoo. tftc.
Late Saturday afternoon we were searching for this one and it was all quiet in town, although we got surprised by a young fellow riding his bike from around the back and past us (must be a shortcut). We spent quite a bit of time on this and geohubby is a fan of nano's and doesn't like to give up easily. Sadly another DNF Groovydoo, you are messing with our minds!!
Found at 5.55pm GAFF3. We searched all over the place and finally came back to a spot that we had checked a few times and then we became aggressive as it just wouldn't budge! The previous finder replaced it in an awkward way and it need pliers to extract it. A very tricky hide, but with good co-ords it's not impossible.
Thanks groovydoo.
Thanks groovydoo.
Wandered the mist shrouded streets after a few beers at the bottom pub and dinner at the top pub. The rest of the geo-crew checked out the mosaic wall whilst I put the wind-up torch and muggle-free night to good use to make the find after a very lengthy search. Hanging around GZ would have been too suspicious during the cache assault on Dorrigo planned for the following morning. Many thanks Groovydoo from the Mona Vale crew.
Yep, we agree with a previous cacher, You Are EVIL groovydoo. We hunted, we hunted. Checked several of these and none seemed likely. Used a pen to poke in hidey holes, gaps and crevices. All we got for our trouble was lots of cobwebs on the end of the pen. We nearly gave up as we thought we'd tried everything. But we hadn't - had we?! No!! Finally geohubby tried the right spot and yep, there it was. Nice one groovydoo! Nice one!! We left with a great sense of satisfaction. Thanks for the cache groovydoo!
I spent a few minutes looking for this one but it didn't turn up quickly and I ran out of time.
My GPSr wouldn't settle.
I'll be back.
