Nice bridge. I worked just up the road for years and never appreciated it.

Looked around the area for 40 minutes until too frustrated to continue. Would like to believe it's been mugged but suspect we are both men and can't find anything to save ourselves.
Riding towards GZ saw the name of the street and remembered that a work colleague from years gone by lives here. No doubt he's at work today so it was straight to the bridge for a find at 11:05am.

Walked through the park from the last cache trying to work out what part of the bridge it would be on. Didn't even see the other bridge! Nice spot.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
WOW what a fantastic little bridge, being a draftsman i always love these types of hides that take me to structures like this. Thanks for the great spot for a hide.
Found in the company of spartan2224 while attending the event.

Found while attending the Intervening Days III event.
As we walked to the cache, the reluctant spouse said that we should be very aware of snakes. So when we arrived at gz and I spotted something scaly next to the cache, I nearly ran in the opposite direction. Turned out to be a large lizard, so all was well and the log was signed.
Thanks for the cache, bel04.

Wow, cool bridge! Would not have notice it otherwise, too busy listening to my ipod. TFTC
King Jnr with my queen and geoprinces in the car.
Following today's event we picked up this cache - now let me guess pull up where those other cars are... and look out here come another crowd of GPS carrying muggles......
Our thanks to bel04 and to the cacher before me who handed me the log before I passed it on......

Great to be able to catch up on relatively new caches in this area while attending Intervening Days. TFTC TNLN
Was in amongst the Intervening Days entourage traipsing through here today. I cannot believe I could not find this last time I looked - I definitely looked too hard that time (in all the wrong places). The 3yo was again tasked with replacing the cache... just in time for another couple of carloads to pull up across the road as we were leaving.
Found with Hi Pressure when we went caching at the nearby event. Enjoyed the stroll here.

Found on our "Intervening Days" outing today. Pulled up and then suddenly there were 3 more cars and some helpers! Love the bridge. TFTC
I had been told that this cache was fairly easy, but I tried to make it a little harder than necessary & almost got sucked into the mud - luckily that approach was not needed. TFTC.
Found today with Bushfire and Snakecatcher at 4:05pm on our way home from 'Intervening Days 3'
Nice little walk from the event to a different type of bridge, took a bit of finding but with 6 eyes on the job soon found, thanks bel04.

Found with the walenators on a Melton event day. A quick easy find by wal had us on the road with a minnimum of delay. thanks again bel04 for the cache.

What a positively cute bridge! No prizes for guessing which way the traffic flows when civic duties become tiresome! This space was just as busy as the nearby Intervening Days Event, with Geocachers coming and going every few minutes. We found in this cache in conjunction with a couple of other teams.

Luckily squalid managed to hide it before the next cachers happened along. Great day.
This was one of 5 that we walked between whilst in the area for the event... My 748th find and 5th smiley of 19 for the day.. Thanks Bel04
Found @ 4.05pm with Shane.Thompson and Bushfire after attending the Intervening Days III. Nice easy find, Love the old bridge structure and the info board near by. TFTC NINO.
Found at 11.35am our last before heading to intervening days. A quick check had the cache in hand. Liked the bridge TFTC
Shane.Thompson, the Snakecatcher and he does remove snakes when they are too close to muggles and the ageing Bushfire headed up to Melton today to find a few caches and to meet old and new caching friends and to attend the Intervening Days Event.
Caching with a snake catcher can have it's good points and bad. On the bad side he always has an eye out for any thing like it could be cold blooded, we would jump back and wonder what the hell was that but he would check it out and say it's only a blue tongued lizard.
On the good side if it looks like a dicey area with high grass etc guess who gets the job of looking for the cache. He has been known to be holding onto a snakes tail and then phoning Shane to come over and hold this guys tail while he gets to work to remove the rest of the snake. I am glad that he lives on the other side of town as that's not my cup of tea. That's why I carry a long stick.
This is a very unusual structure and the cache gave up it location as three pairs of experienced eyes were after it, log was signed and then it was off to the next. Thanks again for placing this cache.

Second visit to the bridge and can't believe that I walked right over it the first time. Interesting bridge constuction, I would have just ignored it if it wasn't for your cache. TFTC

Another foot of water in the creek, and this will be under water.

Our GPS had us at the wrong end of the brige
and we had to wait for a group of teens to
meander across before replacing the hide.
19 finds on this 33 degree, clear blue skies,
almost to hot for us caching day.
We found ourselves on the wrong side of the
creek 4 times today and ended up in the drink
for one of them! lol a truly "had to be there" experience.

Nice easy find. On holiday from England, so wanted to find one in Melton where we are staying with relatives for 3 weeks. Left 'Felix' Geocoin (ATX2GH). TFTC.
Found by Team Ladava around 5.30 pm.
After the continuous rain in the past 36 hours we needed a cache fix but it featured wet shoes, mud, water over the roads and evidence of earlier much higher flooding.
What an interesting piece of historical engineering. I have never seen this type of construction used before. Fascinating.

Our thanks to bel04 for bringing us to this location and the cache.

30 of 33 for the night. Night caching run with my good mates Marty (Quasar3671) and Richard (xraydelta1). With Richard now having departed home, Marty and I continued on. Initially missed this on the first pass, but got it in the end. TFTC.
In Melton to visit some friends we had time to pick up a few caches before meeting them. Although we do the fireworks in the golf course nearby for the upcoming Djerriwarrai festival we had never seen this bridge before, in fact we haven't seen a bridge quite like this. Today we found the cache with ease but can imagine that it will be next to impossible this Saturday
Thanks bel04 for the cache

32nd of 35 finds on a night caching run with my caching mate Blacklegend.Parked across the road from GZ and walked over to the little old bridge. Marshy found the cache and we signed the log. Thanks for the hide.
A few years ago there was another cache near here called wooden coathangar so I was
very familiar with the location of this unusual footbridge.
There was no foot traffic in the area this morning but plenty of passing cars so a bit of discretion was used
while logging the find.
There seemed like some slide marks nearby indicating someone fell in the drink or almost!

Trip to Melb Airport, doing a few caches in the area. Got to GZ, neat little bridge. Few golf heads on the golf course today. Lostmonster found pretty quick with the hint....Cheers
Nice bridge and a nice bit of history.
Didn't see a swordfish, but there was a crab above the cache protecting it.
Nice little hide, my thanks to bel04 for the effort here, TNLNSL

Revisited today to check details of previous visit, as I forgot to log onto web for this one, original visit was on the 28/08/2010, cache was uncovered when I visited, did right thing and covered up again.
What a great little bridge. No. 2 of 3caches in Melton today. Thanks bel04 for bringing to this place. We were warned by a woman walking past that there snakes about.
Must have been blind, since this one shouldn't have been hard - mind you I was in a bit of a rush to get home to pick up the 3yo in time.
Found by The Empire @ 9:15am with The Lone Random
Find number 3 of 23 on this great Sunday for caching. Top spot for a cache, there were golfers teeing off nearby and plenty of cars going past. We made it a little harder than it had to be but got there in the end, thanks.

Found by Mary & David at 0925. The bridge is well-worth a cache. A bit of rain, though, to dampen our spirits. Hope it isn't a bad omen for our trip. Our thanks again to bel04.
A nice easy find after reading the nearby information sign and watching the golfers tee off.
An interesting bridge at GZ! Dusk helped to hide my search which was very quick thanks to a good hint. Note though that vegetation has a way of rapidly changing and a different cover may be needed sometime! Thanks bel04
found cache at 4:04pm today left travel bug took nothing signed log was an easy find, thanks to Geocaching on iPhone was able to retrieve some notes on original visit, only didn't know what day I visited, had to re-visit to refresh my memory.

A quick cache on the way to KMart to pick up a new iPod touch thingy device for the eldest. A quick stop and the cache was in hand in seconds.
I've visited this bridge before for a cache that ultimately went missing. I hope this one lasts a lot longer.

Wow hard one to get, had to wait quite some time for there to be a muggle free window to grab the cache so we could log our find. Once logged was quickly stashed away safely and made our way home to watch some weekend football. TNLN, TFTC.

This spot brings back memories. Our (now archived) cache 'Wooden Coathanger' was placed in the guard rail nearby. Unfortunately ours got muggled too many times. We hope yours doesn't suffer the same fate.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing, screwdriver wouldn't fit.
