Nah, this one is gone and the hide has been totally compromised. I will look around for a better hide...
It's definitely gone. Reconsidering what to do with this one. Might try coming up with a new quiz with a new final in a new spot...
Came by here today to try to claim this puzzle that I solved during lockdown, the spot seemed likely and even a hidey block in place, but maybe because of the recent placement of wood chips, I didn’t see the cache.
I messaged the CO and he told me the spot was likely, but couldn’t confirm 100%.
I’m pretty certain this one has gone on a walkabout.

Managed to work my way through the quiz and calculate the final coordinates. Had a walk here this afternoon and soon had found and logged. TFTC
Solved the problem back home and was happy to log the cache on my walking tours around Auckland.
Thanks for the cache!
Leaving Sweden in the beginning of January, passing Singapore on the way to Australia. Then visiting NZ before flying back home via Dubai. A trip of almost three months. Fantastic scenery and nice people along the way.

Cruising around New Zealand, and picking up caches when possible.
When we found this quiz we smiled, as we knew for sure about half of these... and had good guesses on some of the others. And, of course, we are especially found of question 'C'. [;) ][:x]
We wandered around the area, picking up a few caches - in the most random order.

Solved this quiz yesterday and today I had half a day free to do whatever I wanted, so went to search for some geocaches. Nice camo. TFTC.
Solved this one io uk. Had an early start and walked up here from the hotel at 0600 with a Dnf on the way at train spotting but there are lots more! Off to Cornwall park later with local guide! I soon discovered this cache and I signed the log before replacing the cache as it was found.

Today I explored Auckland on foot and covered over 20 km.
I discovered a lot of beautiful places and could find a lot of cans.
Some of them I did not find.
It was a nice, long, sunny day and I want to thank all owners for this.
It was a great pleasure for me to cache here in Auckland.
Thank you and many greetings from Germany
from Pöni.

Together with TEMBO! I had a really interesting geocaching-trip today. We could find some geocaches, met some locals and had a great talk to them.
Concerning this geocache I want to say thanks because we had much fun in searching and finding this geocache! The cache made our trip even more interesting!

NLBokkie and I are going on holiday to New Zealand for 3 weeks. In Auckland we rent a camper. We start on the North island and driving to the south to make the crossing to the South island. Here we make a round and then take the boat back to the North Island. A long trip, but a very beautiful one! We do and see a lot on our way.........…
In addition to being a tourist, we are also going to cache along the way. The virtuals and earth caches are often on tourism places. If we have a long day of traveling, we stop for some caches.
It were great weeks!
A nice quiz to prepare our holiday

After handing in the camper van that took us all over New Zealand for three weeks, Berrydehamster and me use the rest of the day to make our way to the War Memorial. Slowly though, so we can find and do lots of caches on our way. It’s a great way to get to know the city and a great way to spend our last full day in New Zealand. Thanks for this cache, funkymunkyzone. We had solved it back home before visiting New Zealand.
Easy mystery, solved by isleuk who normally doesn't solve the geocaching puzzles, but the other half of the team was too busy locking computer screens in preparation of our Auckland visit.
Cache quickly found and TBs exchanged.

We are stamping the logs with NZGA 2019 to save time and space on the logs. If answers are required for this cache, at least one of us will be submitting them for the group. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us from the other side of the world to enjoy finding!
Found with the NZGA2019 group. We are traveling from the USA and Canada. This was a well hidden cache!

We worked this out while we were here at the museum. Puzzle was not that bad. Stamped with the NZGA group. TFTC
I solved the quiz a while ago and today we finally were in the area and made the find. Nicely hidden and very nice camo. Easy find. Tftc
Very nice puzzle and not too difficult. And a nice hide as well. What more could you want?

Solved this one a while back but was finally in the area so decided to grab a couple in of caches nearby for the mystery at the museum. Found it easily, had to wait for people to pass by to grab it/return it. Awesome camo on the cache
Cache #8000 for The Vikings!
Hagar had been working in Auckland for a week, and Helga arrived on Thursday from Sydney. The quiz had been solved at home before the trip, and we went out at dawn on Friday to look for the cache. Not having had a Geochecker we were hopeful that the solution was correct.
Parked the car and walked up to GZ. Still a bit dark, we needed the torch on a mobile phone to help as finding the well camouflaged cache container. Signed the log and replaced, and then headed off for breakfast in Newmarket before Hagar headed for another day of work.

#743. The cache I originally planned to keep my streak up was unavailable due to a muggle hanging out in a park late at night with no intention of going anywhere. So I got in the car and drove to this one, which was the nearest solved but unfound puzzle cache to my house. I remember having not too many problems with the solve.
A coupe of cars around in the domain at 9pm, I wonder what they were doing? Some had people in them, some didn't. But there was nobody around, so I wandered over to GZ and made an immediate find in the dark, despite there being no hint. Sweet! That was much easier than I expected, probably due to the very accurate final coordinates. Nice camo on the cache too, I liked it.
I then went and found a traditional cache nearby while I was in the area and got an immediate find on that one too. The geocaching gods must really be smiling on me tonight.
Thanks funkymunkyzone for the puzzle and the cache! I found a trackable, which I took, but weirdly it wasn't listed in the cache description. The two that were listed are not in the cache.

Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMüley, now WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC
After some confusion from getting the correct coords we found easily and logged.tftc.
Sitting at my backpacker's last night I worked out a plan of attack for caching today, having a rough idea where I wanted to go the next step was see if there were any mysteries in the area that I could solve, this one showed up and I soon had a set of final coordinates. A nice quick find as I wandered around the domain. I dropped off a TB which has been picked up before I could log it in and took the two that were there. TFTC funkymunkyzone

Up in the big smoke for a two-day conference so opportunities abound for some straightforward caching.
Out before dawn for a walk heading down Symonds Road and round to Parnell and back through the Domain.
I went for a walk in the Domain after arriving yesterday afternoon but got caught up in a multi/EarthCache/Wherigo trifecta that I overlooked this one.
Back here this morning and despite some initial reservations about the hiding place, fairly quickly discovered the cache.
Dropped off a couple of TBs I've had for too long to get them on their way.

Still working hard on the Creation Carnival (for souvenirs) so as I needed to collect the littlest Dragon from the airport later this morning I headed up early with Mrs Dragon to collect a few caches in the hope that I could gain a few extra points for the challenge.
Also a good chance to grab some caches that have a few favorite points and to see what it is all about.
Left home at 5.30am with Mrs Dragon in tow and headed north, as we drew closer to the CBD the weather took a turn for the worse and in pelting rain (thankfully had a coat in the back of the car) quickly made the find in the dark. Left Mrs Dragon in the car to dissuade any lingering parking peoples because I hear that they lurk to find unsuspecting geocachers.
Headed over here and even managed a parking spot nice and close to GZ so that I didn't have to worry to much about the rain that was still coming down, all be it, a bit lighter than it was before.
Thanks for putting together a nicely designed puzzle cache with information we should all be aware of.

I solved the quiz before my trip to NZ and found the cache while walking the Coast to Coast trail today. Really great camo and a fun geo-quiz, thanks Dropped off Marge TB that has travelled with me from Perth.
Had this puzzle solved a long time ago - we remembered it being a pretty easy one! Final was very straightforward as well. Came after an event hoping to pick up a few caches with lots of favourite points to get our Cache Carnival souvenirs. All in good condition here. Tftc
After a nearby event this morning and having solved this one ages ago, we finally made our way to this cache. Nicely hidden with great camo, though it was spotted a good distance away with these geocacher's eyes. Thanks!
Big pleasure to find this one shorty after Creation Celebration Event. Nice quiz! TFTC
Searched with: toaster83
Between toaster and myself, we were able to answer most of the questions without asking the internet. The physical cache was pretty quick to find as well. So quick, in fact, that I forgot to take a picture with Scotty (an anthropomorphized stuffed tower) for my friend Scott. About 30m away, I realized my mistake and we had to search all over again so I could get a silly picture.

Located yesterday but forgot to bring a pen, so back today to make it official! Very nice camo, thanks for the interesting lesson on the history of geocaching!
Gave this puzzle cache to Kiwiscot to solve a few years back which she successfully did. Then it got added to the pile of solved mystery caches and promptly forgotten about. Finally getting around to collecting tonight. Nice evening for a walk around the domain. Quick find, TFTPuzzle
Meanwhile this is my third geocaching-trip to Middle-Earth . And I love it! [:X]
Still there are routes and places in this beautiful country that are on the 'discover-me' list and want to be visited and explored. – but Auckland, the city of sails – my personal pearl [:X] - belongs to the favourite places ever since the first trip and is a steady ‘always’ visiting place !
Day #13:
Did not do much of caching today .
But happily strolled around some wonderful and scenic places [^]:
The lake by the zoo, the waterfront, the city, and of course the beautiful park around the Auckland Museum . Picked up some treasures as they occurred .
Just like this one:
For a passionate geocacher this puzzle is a must! [^]
Thanks to the owner [:X] for placing and maintaining this nice mystery-cache and best regards from Germany!

Hallo lieber Cache Owner/in.

Now Im setting up my own account -Frau_Löffelchen- and would be happy if you would allow this log so I dont have to start all over again. It would be a shame especially because of the beautiful country points.
Thanks for the cache and many greetings says Michaela from Oberhausen.Nachdem wir in dem Park wie wunderbaren Bäume bewundert haben, war auch dieser Cache fix gefunden.

We decided to spend this hot day in a bit cooler environment. Our path crossed with this puzzle cache wich I solved back at home. We had luck as there was not much mugglers around and the cache was quickly logged. TFTC and greetings from Finland!
On the second day of our holiday in Auckland, we went to the War Memorial museum and enjoyed a walk in the domain. The day was a bit too warm for comfort but it was still nice in the park.
The Geo-Quiz: Trifolia Argentea had answered the quiz on this one, but I was able to find the actual box whilst they were looking in the wrong spot. Nice camouflage! TFTC.

Enjoyed doing the research for this cache, if only I'd discovered this puzzle cache before the last Auckland Annual caching quiz, I might have been able to answer at least one of the caching questions... Really nice job on the camo, its lasting very well, gets a FP from me, cheers

Great, a mystery cache which even I can solve
Did so before heading down to Auckland to meet muggle friends who didn’t mind at all to stop here and there it to detour a bit to find a cache or two
And bazingo , found it well

We had solved this puzzle over a year ago but hadn't been in the vicinity until today. We were pleased to see our co-ords were spot on and quickly found the cache in the obvious place. Thanks funkymunkyzone for the topical puzzle & cache!
We had solved the puzzle before leaving the UK, and when we found ourselves in the vicinity of the cache we made sure that we diverted slightly in order to find the cache itself. The camo on the cache container is excellent, and we were really pleased to find it, showing that our calculations had been correct.
Found with my mom, glofaw411, on our annual mother/daughter trip. This year's trip took us from Pennsylvania, USA to Australia and New Zealand. My mom has already sent the answers in for the caches that needed them or posted photos. TFTC.
Found with brigitte15 while visiting Auckland. Solved it back at home in Pennsylvania, USA before our big trip. This is our first cache in New Zealand. TFTC.
My third day in Auckland. I solve this puzzle few days ago knowing that I would be in the area looking for geocaches. I love grabbing mysteries and puzzles when I can. This evening I headed out to look for the cash. Maybe I should have come out during the day to make my search a little shorter. It wasn't too bad though. I managed to find the cleverly disguised Cache and grabbed the TB for more adventures. Tftc!
Tried to find this one the other day when I was up here but had something wrong. Re worked the maths and got a better location. Stopped up here today to complete this find and grab some lunch at the cafe. Quick grab at GZ today. Dropped a TB to move on with others. Tftc.
Knew a lot of these answers already as had read up about this subject not too long ago in preparation in helping organising an event for International Geocaching Day a couple of days ago. Great camo in this busy park! Was a fun solve and find. TFTC
It had started to finally rain like it had promised hours ago as soon as we stepped out of the car. The GPS took us in a huge wide circle until it settled down and led us straight to cache. Loved the camo! TFTC
So awesome we were running around left right and center super fun would definitely recommend.
Nice puzzle today was the day we got the final.Only because we came up to the Brickman Woners {Lego} at the Museum.
I don't know why I haven't solved this puzzle much sooner than I have. But there you have it, I haven't until now. I wasn't entirely sure I had the right info until I was at GZ. Amazing how this cache has been here so long, it's a high muggle area, original log I think, dry as too. Nice to bag this one and my first cache this morning about 7am.
Just been to the brickman wonders how cool worth going to it found this one with abcdf4
Found on our adventure South of the equator in New Zealand. This one was a rush job to cache all types in New Zealand before heading home! TFTC. funkymunkyzone

A visit to New Zealand for a friends 25th wedding anniversary and a chance to get some Geocaching done. When we were here for their wedding the hobby had not been thought of yet.
Today was to be a gentle day strolling round Auckland, so a train into the city and up to The Domain for a much liked Wherigo, a puzzle and a Traditional.
A spot of lunch and then walk over to The Sky Tower, well we are on holiday so it has to be done.
Great views were had even if the skies were cloudy. Down again and walk down to the port only to find that there was an Event some 50 meters from where we were meeting our friends.
Managed to grab some Tb's to take back to Blighty then off for our tea.
I have to admit getting some help on this as I didn't have enough time last night to get all the answers so I requested a little help from a good friend back in the UK and when I awoke this AM he had given me some plausible numbers.
They were almost spot on and a nice camo hide was my reward in the park today that was looking very strange with all the lanterns to celebrate the Chinese new year.
All logs where possible were signed as Steve 73306 or just 73306 to save space.
Thanks to funkymunkyzone for setting and maintaining this cache and to all other owners for setting and maintaining theirs.
My find number 6377 to date Happy caching everyone

Discovered this puzzle the other day and made quick work on getting some good looking co-ords. Went to GZ yesterday and thought "This ain't right" so checked my numbers last night and found an error. Came back this morning with new co-ords and as I approached the GZ I thought, Yeah, this is right. Then it was a quick find. Great puzzle FMZ, great location and awesome camo. Gets an FP from me.
Before the conference I had a couple of days to explore Auckland and of course it included some geocaching. This was my first cache found in New Zealand. The puzzle was nice and educational and also the location of the cache was great. Thank you for the cache and greetings from Finland!
Unfortunately, 4 weeks vacation will end in a few days and this afternoon I will fly back home. But today’s morning I took a walk in the direction of Aucklamd Domain - some caches served as a kind of guidepost. Among my findings - in addition to some failed attempts - counts this cache because solving the riddle was easy and the finding of the box too.
Thanks and sorry for the late log (2 months later).

PS. In the Auckland Domain a (half) marathon in Auckland Domain took place his Tuesday morning - most runners already had half the distance behind me when I stopped next to a marshal. For me, as a former runner, it was a bit strange that the competition took place at such a time. Respectfully, in view of the already higher temperature, I cheered on the runners before exploring the park extensively.

I solved the puzzle some time ago. Since I was going here for an event, I made it a point to get the final so I could take it off my solved puzzles list. The cache was quite exposed, so I was sure to hide it much better to keep muggle eyes from spotting it. TFTC
Great quiz to learn the history of geocaching. Once answered (and wasn't too hard using googs to find the answers), GPS led straight to a very nicely camo'd hide. Really enjoyed this one, gets my FP. TFTC
An easy quiz for a person who has been in the game this long Cache was also quickly found on my coast to coast walk.
The last stop in our little tour around Auckland today, and well, no trip is complete without bringing visitors to the Auckland Domain. We parked nearby so that they could frolick in the Wintergardens, but I snuck away (as usual) to locate this cache. The hunt was quite short as I spotted the cache and its cool camo! TFTC!
The answers were quickly found, but to spot this well camouflaged container, it took a bit longer.
Thanks for the hide.
Greetings from Germany.

We're down in Auckland for the weekend picking up my son and of course Geocaching. I'm aiming to turn some of the puzzles in my solved list into smiles on my map. I liked this puzzle and learning about geocaching. I'd solved this ages ago and we had a quiz at a recent event and I couldn't remember some of the answers that I'd learnt here, doh! The kids loved climbing around in the trees in the area so it took me a while to get to gz. Then other interesting places nearby delayed us leaving this beautiful area, but it made our day in the big smoke great fun. A quick find with neat camo, TFTC
